Hello Everyone, well alot to cover this issue. The board has been moving as the summer of the picfed continues as a sit down with the machine known as wwefan to get his thoughts on the state of the board, picfeding and of course C2W!
So what made you get into picfedding in the first place?
Well I always visited the boards every once and a while and I got so caught up in some amazing pic feds. They really caught my interest. I would sit in front of my computer for (literally) hours at a time viewing shows the likes of HLW, W3E, PWF, BAoW, ROG, BWF, MPW (Fall's fed at the time), and so many more. I fell in love with it. I stared at my collection one day and said "I am way too old to play with these. How can I rekindle my interest in my figure collection?" And pic fedding was the answer to that. It soon became a hobby... which is now a lifestyle lol.
How do you feel about the current state of picfedding?
I am really pleased with the people who contribute and help this board grow. When I first came to pic fedding, the place was dead. I was watching shows from like I don't know how long ago and the place was just... bleh, for lack of a batter word. I along with so many dedicated pic fedders resurrected the board, and it feels good to be related to an event/movement like that. And it is only going to get better. You've got legendary fedders like Slash and mallet and DJ still sticking around with the young guns lol. And then you've got some people who have become veterans on this board, Fall, easy, LMB, and myself (I like to think). And we can't forget all of the newer guys. They are the future of the board. I have good feelings about Elliot's fed. I know this answer is long, but I want to give the people a good interview. The only thing I am not a fan of on this board (you knew this was coming) is the choosy replies from outsiders. In my opinion if you can reply to one federation, you should have the courtesy and respect to reply to others. But that's all I'm going to say about people like that
What can we expect at Regal Requiem?
Oh wow, I can't even begin to explain the mayhem that is going to happen at C2W's first pay-per-view. There is going to be blood, steel, carnage, wreckage, and limbs left over in the ring by the end of the night lol. But really this is going to be my best show to date (out of all my federations). I won't give you the match card, but I will tell you that a lot of feuds will be settled, but some will spill over into the following shows. You can expect to see me return to my old style of fedding, which is taking a good amount of pictures (maybe some that some may find unnecessary lol). I'm looking forward to Regal Requiem for sure and I hope everyone else is as well
Your infamous for being indecisive when it comes to the direction you take your feds in. What makes C2W any different from AWF or Cpw?
Good question. Yeah people would bash me about this a lot and in some cases rightfully so. Well C2W is by far my greatest creation because I am stretching my limit. I have released more shows at a faster rate and the quality keeps escalating with every show I put out. C2W just feels right for me. I see this federation going a long way. And I am enjoying myself so far. And I want a spot in that pic fed hall of fame so I'm not quitting this fed lol =)
Who are some of your inspirations when it comes to picfedding?
Champ is one of my biggest inspirations. I hope I get a chance to work with him on something sooner or later. He is an amazing fedder and he really inspires me. He doesn't put out many shows, but when he does, they are awesome. Ok... I guess... DJ is one of my inspirations too, but don't tell him I said so lol. DJ is an outstanding pic fedder and his influence on me when I got the chance to work with him is mainly why I am so focused and dedicated today. He has helped a lot of people, but I like to think I was his best student
How did you come up with the unique roster for C2W?
I thought about people who were underused in other feds and really just picked from those few. I am trying to keep my roster small so some people will pop in and out of story lines due to injuries, releases, and things like that. I am glad the roster got a good reaction.
Do you have any suggestions for those who would want to take their fed to the next level?
In my opinion presentation is everything. If you don't have enough pride in your product to make it look good, then I won't respect your fed. You could have the best poses, roster, matches, etc, but if I can see your mom walking around in the background... crap lol. The lack of a background is a one way ticket to pic fed hell. That's all really. Watch other feds and get your poses to be as good as you can. So that too... Yeah that's pretty much it. Sorry I couldn't be as articulate on that answer lol.
What words of encouragement do you have for people wanting to start picfedding?
Watch other feds and don't tale advice from everyone. Find a source that seems reliable and ask that person. Too many ideas at once can ruin your creative process. And have fun! =)
Any closing thoughts?
I'd like to say to those not replying to my shows to go themselves.
And for those who are replying thank you so much. And for those who didn't know about C2W check it out =)
If any new fedders need help feel free to ask me some questions
And easy thank you for bringing this awesome magazine to the board... and we're not hating on you... lol
All jokes aside thank you so much for this interview =) KEEP PIC FEDS ALIVE!
