I will fully edit it this time. Sorry. Before, I got the flu and by the time I was healed up, I forgot to edit in the 3rd night back in May. Anyway, here are tonight's
June 23rd taping courtesy of spam.com
* Bubba Dudley vs. Brutus Magnus went to no contest. Bubba attacked Magnus before he got to the ring and they brawled around the ring for a while. Bubba was about to put Brutus through a table when the British Invasion, Abdul Bashir, and Kyoshi came out for the beatdown. D-Von made the save with the chair and they put Kyoshi through the table with the 3D. Pretty good brawl to start the show.
* MEM came out and introduced Joe. Basically said that Joe was kicking all of their asses and after they put him down they tried to buy him but his price was 'too high' for the MEM. So basically Jenna Morasca kicked in the difference and they bought his services and created the whole 'Nation of Violence' as a cover story to help get the belt back in the MEM fold and Booker and Steiner took their beatings like good soldiers. Foley came out and said that he understands it's business but he wants his rematch. Angle made fun of him for crying in the back after he lost at Slammiversary and said he didn't owe Foley anything. Angle said a rematch wasn't part of his contract, but they can negotiate something and Foley went with them to the back. Sting wasn't out there for this segment. Didn't like the explanation and it took forever.
* Nash def. Abyss. Pretty quick power match, nothing special. Dr. Stevie comes out and 'tazes' Abyss at the end with a crappy smoke and sound effect. Didn't look or sound right live, but I'm sure it will be edited for TV. Reminiscent of The Mountie with a hand held tazer. Lauren came down at the end to cry over Abyss's electrified ass. Decent until the stupid ending.
* Beer Money came out and said they respected Team 3D but they took their eye off the ball at Slammiversary and they capitalized just like Team 3D would have. They said that Team 3D absolutely deserves a rematch at Victory Road. Booker and Steiner came out and said that Mick made the deal for his rematch at Victory Road, but the terms were that Booker/Steiner get the tag title shot and Nash gets the shot at the Legends title at Victory Road. Team 3D comes out and protests saying they'll go back to Mick and make a deal for themselves. Good segment, Beer Money came off very strong (especially Roode) and the Boozer Cruiser returned.
* AJ called out Joe for an explanation. Joe came out and said he doesn't owe AJ anything and said that if he wants to know why he did it he can ask the man he's facing at Victory Road, I guess meaning Nash was a big part of it. Joe says he's done talking and goes to leave, AJ jumps him and they brawled. Matt Morgan came out to help Joe beatdown AJ, Daniels came out to even the odds, then the MEM (minus Sting) came down to beat AJ/Daniels. Sting with a bat comes out for the save and cleared the ring. Sting takes the mic and says he didn't know anything about the plan with Joe and asks what else he doesn't know. He said he expected this from everyone but Nash and appealed not to Oz, Big D, or Big Sexy, but Kevin Nash about why he's doing this. Nash says it's all about money and power, and he's sure as hell not going to fight the MEM. Sting gives Kevin the bat and says to finish the job, Kevin faked hitting Angle and went to hit Sting, who took out another bat and started to clean house. Eventually the MEM got control and beat the hell out of Sting for wayyyyyyy too long. Nash sat out the beating until the end when it looked like he was going to make them stop, but eventually Jackknifed Sting to end it. Segment felt like it was three hours long and the beatdown was ridiculously long. Wouldn't be surprised if they cut it down.
* Steiner def. Roode with a backslide. Pretty good match, nothing special. Finish came out of nowhere, not in a good way.
* Taylor Wilde def. Daffney in a 10,000 tacks on a pole match. I really, really hated this. Daffney took an awful tack bump and was in obvious pain. The match was short and nothing and from what we saw live had no build or importance. Just a reason to throw Daffney on tacks again I guess, which sucks.
* James Storm def. Booker T via DQ. Short back and forth match until Booker cracked a beer bottle on Storm's head for the DQ. Storm played dead forever, not a bad match, just short.
* Amazing Red def. Cody Deener. Holy crap Deener is awful. Red literally dragged a decent match out of him, but it was painful. Deener kept asking ODB for help on how to wrestle and get out of holds. Ending came when against ODB's advice, Deener went to the top and missed a splash. Red hit a weird 2nd rope inverted DDT for the win.
* Tara/Kong def. Love/Sky. Good tag match, Kong and Tara controlled most of it. Finish came when Tara was beating the hell out of Love on the outside and Kong squashed (the unbelievably hot) Sky with an Implant Buster. After the match Tara put a big spider on Sky's chest, which then had to be removed by an animal keeper after the cameras stopped. Kinda funny. Good match, Kong and Tara looked very strong.
* Joe/Angle def. AJ/Jarrett. During the match intros JB said that the match was for the World Championship, if MEM won they kept the belt and whoever scored the pin for AJ/Jarrett would be champ. I didn't hear them set this up during the taping, but might have missed it. Ok match, nothing special. Finish came when Jarrett was in the anklelock FOREVER, and eventually passed out from the pain and the ref dropped his arm three times for the fall. Underwhelmed by the match, it didn't feel all that special or different, just a standard TV tag match pretty much.
* There were a few backstage interviews. Eric Young basically said that Jarrett/JB/etc... were never his friends, he was just the go-to guy for comic relief. Mick Foley said how hurt he was losing the title and how desperate he was to get it back. Angle had an interview that was almost impossible to hear, I think it had to do with him not caring that Sting was on his way. At some point it was also announced that Steiner/Booker were going to face 3D next week for the shot at Beer Money at Victory Road.
* I think that was all. The tapings ran a little over 2 hours and there was a good amount of wrestling, but no great matches. Disappointing no X-Division talent was at this show, they didn't announce any more matches for the tapings.

He says he went over his head and lied to the Godfather. Rocco & Sally Boy stand in front of Foley, he says do your best. Steiner & Joe attack them & take them out. Joe said, fortunately for Sting, he's been told to keep his temper. Sting asks who is in his ear, who's telling him, who is pulling his strings. Terry, Magnus, Kiyoshi & Bashir joined Williams and they continously beat down Team 3D until Foley's new security team made their way out and helped 3D to the back.
*Mick Foley comes out to the ring he says life can be funny sometimes and some times you need to make difficult decisions. He says that TNA shouldn't have two decision makers and suggests that tonight one should step down from decision making capacity. Jeff Jarrett comes out to the ring and says he needs to ask Mick a question..if he thinks before anything he says. He says they are cut from the same mold, its the nature of the beast. He says in Foley's quest to regain his TNA title, he put TNA in serious danger and no matter what happens after Victory Road he will always be a true legend in this business. He tells Mick he needs to start thinking why he came to TNA, the young athletes and their families and the future of TNA, but they have to do it together. Foley appreciates what Jarrett is saying...and that in hindsight, they are even steven...but he does say he needs to prove something to himself and that winning the TNA title was no fluke and that's to take it back from Kurt Angle and that's he's going to do it for the right reasons and for all the fans and wrestlers of TNA. He says Angle needs a warm-up match and tonight Angle should take on Jeff Jarrett..non title of course. Jeff likes the idea, but is "gonna tweak it" a bit..and make it a 3 way dance...himself vs Angle vs Mick Foley. Foley says he sees his tweak and raises one, so no one says they are in cahoots, they're gonna let Kurt Angle choose his own special referee. Jarrett says that it cannot be a member of the MEM or Matt Morgan.

Angelina entered the ring for her match. Tara vs Angelina Love for the TNA Knockouts Title. Match started with a few quick pin attemps for Tara, then Love escaped the ring, but Tara pulled her back by her hair. Madison Rayne tried to stop it and got thrown out by Rudy Charles. "The Outlaw" Jethro Holiday vs. Jay Lethal
Lethal's music plays but doesn't come out. Abyss comes out to no music and attacks
Holiday. He then takes the mic and tells Dr Stevie to come out, he wants the whole world

take it away from him, how in 1991 he submitted to Terry Funk to a stopover toehold and

3 nights from now and do it one on one at Victory Road. Kurt says he's trying to help not
only themselves but him and Jarrett. Sting's music hits and he begins to pace at the top

bunch of bull..that's the same line he was fed when he joined the MEM. Sting says he has
his own agenda for the PPV, he's taking Joe & his handler up one side of the iMPACT Zone
and down the other, but Sunday is Sunday and tonight is now and he asks Mick for one last
match against Kurt Angle. Kurt says that Foley says yes, but he's gonna tweak it a
bit..and make it a Six Sides of Steel tonight!

official, she says she is still the Knockouts champion. But she says she will make it
official at Victory Road. Tara comes out to the ramp, she said this title makes it
official, but she'll confirm it on Sunday. She says not to worry about Poison, he likes
dark warm places, she said she snuck into her locker room earlier and found a nice place
for him to sleep, her bee keepers outfit. Love starts freaking out, ripping part of the
