Scott looks very good except around the top of the mouth. It's missing something (I think his lip) as it basically looks like his goatee was sanded off. That being said I'd bet in person it's not as noticeable because the head isn't blown up like the pic. I really like Rex but I'd have given him the Iron Sheik torso. Dremeled the heavy part. Then I spent a long time sanding it with 200 grit paper. Very time consuming, but I am mostly satisfied. Thanks. I usually use the "elbow grease" sand paper method for this kind of stuff, too. I need to pick up a dremel -- in particular, I've got a TTL Raven head that needs some hollowing out. I use an exacto knife to hollow out the heads.

Steiner is not for sale. It took me too long to find the parts at an affordable price. Of course Mr. Dibiase had an interesting catchphrase that always applies. I know some of you guys pay ridiculous amounts for figures and my momma didn't raise no fool. ;D Thanks for the interest.
PJ you are completely right in the pics it looks more obvious I may have some more sanding to do. In person it doesn't look so obvious, but after careful analysis of the pics I see what you are saying. Appreciate the constructive criticism.

I'd love to see your Raven custom, please PM me. I have one that I made with a Frankensteined head, which I really like, but I got a TTL Saturn and Raven off eBay for like $4.00, so I figured I'd put the head to use with Ralph's Raven gear and an RA body.
PJ, thanks for the tip. I'm tempted to try, but after a bloody customizing incident with a mere screwdriver, I'm a little hesitant to break out the exacto knife.

Hey Mag, to me the best thing to hollow out heads is a counter sink bit on a screw gun or drill. I'll go take pics later watching the Ultimate Fighter right now. Stay tuned.

I really like the Scott. The singlet is well painted and I like the use of the Scott head vs any others. I have a couple coming soon in classic attire using his head as well. The only real complaint I have is that you didn't sand the goatee all the way and it can still be seen in texture.

Fixed-up the face some (see page 1). Hope you like it better. Here is some bonus fix-ups for people who read the entire thread.

Looks better now. Might I suggest that you just square the chin off a little. (it looks too pointy) And the TNA Raven head is a litle small like you said, but still looks very good. And the DA Andre looks sweet.

Steiner looks much better now. I may go a wee bit more "poofy" on the sides (even though articulation).

Thank you both for your suggestions, but I am now satisfied with the head as is. As I said, I based the head on this pic, which you will see has no puffy hair on the sides (in the back yes, but I care more about the jacket) and he is rocking a mean point on that chin. He's already sitting comfortably in my CS Tag Team ring. Cheers.

Like I said before, you've got talent Steiner looks great. Nice sculpted hair, fine-looking mullet, clean paint job. When I look at the reference pic, its really a cool custom copy. Personally, the chin's fine as it is. The best Steiner custom I've seen so far.

The head looks awesome. I am really blown away, though, by your painting on the singlet. I know how ridiculously tough it is to make those animal prints look convincing, and you pulled that off really well.
I'm so thrilled to see such a good looking Scott Steiner figure that actually uses a modified real-scan head. I never quite got the Barry Windham head - they look nothing alike! Always looked like Barry W. dressed in Scott's outfit, to me.
