Juve could be the team to watch in the transfer window tbh. They're not exactly skint, and they're looking to re-model the entire squad minus a few players I read... somewhere

If they get Benitez, they'll only spunk all their money and have rumours of administration

I'm pissed off with Barca and Real putting ridiculous buy out clauses on their players. Upon officially signing for Barca today, Villa penned a deal that keeps him at the Nou Camp until 2014 with a buy out clause of €200mil/£174mil. I know Messi has a similar one and Iniesta and Xavi having slighly smaller clauses. Hope Ibra has a €300mil one just to make them look foolish.
Apparently, Real are going to put a €150mil buy out clause on a TEENAGER.

What's wrong with massive buy out clauses?

It's no excuse for a result like that but they've had a shocking season and need more time out really... But yeah awful result. Also about the buyout clauses, they don't actually mean anything, cos if Barca want shot of Villa after 2 years and someone offers say £20 mil then surely they'll accept. Messi's is 250mil I think...

Was watching that match online earlier Suppose, you can say NY Red Bulls have fresher legs than Jthe Juventus team. But that's a lame excuse.

Ronaldos is £870mil.
I just think it's unfair on the players. If they want out but the club wants to keep them, then they have to either put up with it, pay it themselves or hope another club pays it. It also turns out sport into more of a business which I hate. It's also unfair on the smaller clubs. They'd get bashed if they put a £20mil buy out clause on one of their players.

I agree mate but as it said they played reserves that really doesn't shine on Juve, used to love that club too so its sad, but onwards and upwards for them, they probably just need a few players and kick up the arse.

But that's a lame excuse. still the Juve players are on like €30,000+ on average, are players who have won the World Cup, Serie A etc. the NY Red Bulls players are probably on $500 a week if they're lucky.

Yeeeah... It's a shame that he got sacked but I'm sure he can walk into another job somewhere, cracking manager considering he kept most of the Real ego's in tact.

I'm more of a Barca fan, well completely actually, I just perefer the club and its way. But I can't argue with Madrid really, they never seem to get the coaches they want right away and in that respect I think Mourinho will be given a while, Real Madrid are the most sucessful Spanish team ever sooo they should have high standards with all the cash being pumped in being in line with they're history. Pelligrini isn't to be blamed cos he was class but its the clubs way of doing things, I have no doubt they'll stick with Mourinho no matter what happens next season unless its ridiculous... I'm aligned with Barca and can see him winning them the Champions League next year.
