As a fan of VfB Stuttgart you have to be really strong to not want to deepthroat a shotgun. It's so sad but it's still not over, there's still hope although I'm pretty much set for disappointment. Well that. There's actually some hope after our 2:0 win at home against Mainz today. Hamburg, you're next. Must feel weird, considering you were winning the league not even 10 years ago.

It's so sad to see. Every since winning the league the higher ups made some stupid decisions and now year after year we're fighting so we can stay in division 1. It's a prime example of how to not handle a club after winning the big one.

Tasty looking Champions League Final at this rate. I tipped Barca to reach the Final back in the summer, as knew they'd finish strong with Suarez missing a chunk of the start of the Season, Neymar coming back from his World Cup injury, and Messi starting slow after being burnt out from the World Cup. All about timing. As of now, I'd also say in 2015 we've seen the best Messi yet. He may not be an out and out goalscorer getting 73 in a Season, but his whole game has gone to a new level in terms of creativity and dictating from centre midfield. He's finally got to that place which he's been gearing towards the past year and a half in my opinion, the even balance between scoring and becoming the complete player.
It definitely feels like if a Clasico Final is to ever happen, the timing is now. Hopefully Ronaldo does the job tonight.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't really want to see a Barca/Real final.
I'm just tired of the El Clasico wankfest. Much rather have Juve in the final.

The hype over a Clasico final would be ridiculous. Whichever of Messi/Ronaldo loses would be told its the defining moment of their career, which is a total insult to both men. They're both so decorated it's only a little more than 1 game - obviously they won't think like that as they are both so hungry for more, but really neither will be hurt by a loss. Nonetheless, the press will act like its the biggest thing ever and the only game that matters for either.

Real Madrid have won 1 Champions League in the last 13 Years, and looking like 1 La Liga in the last 8 Years, in which during this time have spent well over £1billion on transfer fees alone. Just let that sink in, astonishing figures. As for Ronaldo, 1 Champions League & 1 La Liga during the 6 Years at his peak at Madrid for someone that wants to be regarded as the best ever is also not good enough. If you're not going to do it for both Club and Country then you need to do unparalleled things for Club.
I never saw Juve doing it but shocked that they pulled it off. You can say it wasn't Ronaldo's game as he had no space to run at, but he hid for most of the game just waiting for a poachers Goal. He's done that most of this Season, but the trouble with that is you're relying a lot more on the creativity from others to set you up, and constantly crossing against a side who deal with those kind of situations with ease was silly.
I still feel as though Bale is the bullied new kid at school. Part of that is because he is shy and too afraid to upset anyone so gives them too much respect and hides, rather than taking the team by the neck. If he went toe to toe with Ronaldo, they'd only push each other on which would be for the better of the Team if anything. Surely one of them is going to be off in the Summer at this rate.
As for Juventus, as a 90's kid it's good to see them back up there again. Not sure they've played Barca in a very long time either so will be an intriguing game. If they can stay collected and hold off Barca's pressure they could well Nick it.

Very happy for Juve. Absolutely loved them in the 90's. When I went to see them destroy Milan last season I said to my Dad that they'd be one to watch in the Champions League this year.
Don't mind that much who wins the final now but it'd be great for Buffon to that winners medal.

Your criticism of Ronaldo for this season is utterly ridiculous. 55 goals this season including 42 in the league and 10 in the Champions League and you're complaining? You hate Ronaldo and you hate Real and that's fine (you're not the only one, and whilst I don't hate Messi I do hate Barca) but if you can't even pretend to be vaguely fair in your analysis why even bother?

You hate Ronaldo and you hate Real and that's fine (you're not the only one, and whilst I don't hate Messi I do hate Barca) but if you can't even pretend to be vaguely fair in your analysis why even bother? Nope, this is my argument. This Season it is easy to have not watched much La Liga, seen Ronaldo's outstanding goal tally and assume he's still the same dynamic Ronaldo. The Ronaldo we all know and love, who won back to back Balon D'ors would at times win games by himself. He was all about running into open space at players, cutting inside, scoring from outside the box, being explosive. For whatever reason it is wether it is age or his hamstring problems, this Season he has had to change his game which is completely understandable. He has become a poacher, almost Inzaghi or Van Nistelrooy like. It's fair enough if it's going to prolong your career and still notch a great amount of goals. The difference is that adopting this means you rely on the creativity of your team mates. Of course you still have a lot to do in terms of movement and putting the ball in the net, but in games against Juventus in particular who are so well drilled at the back and deal with crosses and balls in the box so well, it almost took Ronaldo out of the game. I rewatched the game last night. The clock was ticking down and at times like that you are looking towards Ronaldo to make something out of nothing, to want the ball at his feet, to engineer something. Instead he was just waiting and praying to get on the end of something, and the creativity wasn't there from the rest of them, thus taking him out of the game. He's still without doubt an unbelievable goal scorer, the complete package in terms of scoring goals. He'll still score you 40-50 a Season. But this season and from now on we are seeing a different Ronaldo, which is what I am trying to say.

Not going together involved in the Ronaldo debate, but for what Real have spent since the season they signed him, and what they have spent since, their trophy haul is nowhere near good enough.

Interesting points - www1.skysports.com/watch/tv-shows/revista-de-la-liga/news/9855794/is-cristiano-ronaldo-failing-real-madrid-the-revista-de-la-liga-panel-discussFrom reasons that I've stated above, I think a lot of it is down to Ancelotti not changing the system. At this point in time, and for most of the Season just gone, he needs to be starting Ronaldo as a centre forward, and allowing somebody else to play on the Wing who will actually hug the wing, run at players into open space and create. It will bring the side better balance and shape on and off the ball. If Ronaldo is going to prolong his goal scoring numbers, let him be the poacher up top where it won't affect the rest of the side and the way they play. Play him as one.

Delighted Barca are in the CL final and have won La Liga. Delighted Juve put Real out of the CL because I hate the sight of them.
Good times!!

Xavi won't get enough praise for what he's done. The lack of coverage in Marca just about sums up everything that's wrong with Madrid, it's borderline embarrassing and so evident. It makes you realise the influence that politics really has out in Spain compared to the UK.
