I hope it did count against Punk. You don't make your World Champion looking weak like that. Ridiculous. Randy Orton was not pinned at all. I am sorry that is not right.

IMO it does. The guy won with the GTS so according to the stip, he was able to cash in the MITB, so IMO IT DID. Had his chance.

They better not count that as his damn title match. Hopefully it comes off on TV like he's "about" to cash in, but Umaga interupts, so he keeps the case. Im gonna be so pissed if that counts.

According to these spoilers, the attempt DID count:
From the members only section in WO.com:
From Dan Wahlers:
Dark Match: Mike Knox over Ricky Ortiz with a big boot ECW Tiffany out, she announced Christian vs. Jack Swagger for the ECW Title at Judgment Day, and Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer tonight. She stumbled over her lines at one point. No surprise there. Will probably be edited out. Tyson Kidd defeated Finlay. Said to be good match Announcement that ECW moves back to 10pm ET. starting next week Vladimir Kozlov promo from the stage. He was wearing Russian military gear. Couldn't make out a word he was saying. For Superstars: Hurricane Helms was backstage interviewer. He interviewed Evan Bourne. He said he wants a title shot, and then Paul Burchill challenged him to a match. Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer ended in a no contest when Jack Swagger did a run-in. Swagger attacked Dreamer. Dreamer was very over in NYC, but Christian got a strong reaction, as well. Decent match, a couple mistimed spots. Evan Bourne vs. Paul Burchill was taped for Superstars. They're taping the show all out of order. Bourne won with Shooting Star Press. He got a good reaction. Huge pop for SSP.
Smackdown superstars match is Gail Kim/Maria vs. Michelle McCool/Alicia Fox Smackdown opened with a Chris Jericho promo. He did usual shtick. Huge heat. Edge interupted. They were sarcastic to each other. Jericho said he was gonna win the Scramble later on, and face Edge at Judgment Day. CM Punk came out and talked about his MITB briefcase, and teased at cashing it in possibly tonight. Jericho walked off.
Punk vs. Edge non-title tonight. Punk said he's gonna beat Edge tonight, and then cash in his Money in the Bank, pin him again, and walk out the new champion. John Morrison vs. Shelton Benjamin is up now
Morrison won in a good match. He was playing the face.
Match 2 - Jeff Hardy won the way. Good match, the last 6 or 7 minutes when it was down to Jeff and Rey were excellent. Eliminations were Jericho pinning Kane, Jericho getting dq'd and Jeff pinning Rey. Cryme Tyme hosted a "Brookyln Breakdown" dance off with Eve Torres and Layla. Eve was declared the winner, even though Layla was clearly the better dancer. Layla attacked Eve afterwards and Cryme Tyme made the save. Backstage segment with MVP and Sherri Shepherd. There was also a backstage segment with Edge, Chris Jericho, and Maria. They're hinting at an Edge/Jericho alliance. Dolph Ziggler came out and cut presumably an off-air promo where he insulted New York City, and said he was going to win the US Title in New Jersey. MVP came out with Sherri Shepherd for their match. She was wearing a Ric Flair-like robe. "We Want Whoopi" chant from the crowd. Ouch. MVP won in a pretty short match.
Main event: CM Punk defeated Edge in a non-title match. He then cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot. But Umaga returned out of nowhere, and demolished Punk for the DQ. Jeff Hardy then came out and gave Edge the Swanton to end the show. So Money in the Bank is gone, and there will be no new champion this year.

This is from pwinsider.com
*CM Punk defeated Edge with the GTS in a non-title match. Punk was about to cash in his briefcase, but before the bell was rung, Umaga came in from the crowd and laid out Punk with the Samoan Spike. Umaga left through the crowd. Edge grabbed the briefcase and was about to hit Punk with it, but Jeff Hardy ran out, nailed Edge and gave him the Swanton. Hardy stood over Edge to end the show, and Punk grabbed the briefcase (which he never cashed in) when he left
