God, CM Punk is such a worthless waste of a roster spot. I can't wait until he makes history this year, being the first MITB winner to cash in a lose, like the glorified jobber he is, was, and will always be.

I mean, come on ..... you cashed in your MITB ... it doesn't matter the outcome of the match ..... you lost ... it's over ..... now move on to a worthless mid-carder feud against Umaga like the jobber that you are. People are gonna say the bell never rang ..... but the match was announced ..... I hate CM Punk ...... I can't wait to go to Judgment Day and boo him in his hometown. |

Just a question sir, would you turn gay for Punk? In all honesty you seem absolutley crazy, as soon as anyone says 1 thing bad about Punk you're on there neck. Come on ... it's pretty obvious he would ..... just look at his sig .... he's the one saying that he hopes Randy jobs to Plankton .... boy is that original !!!!!! I wish Punk would job to the unemployment line ..... because that's where he belongs ..... you will NEVER get me to like CM Junk (thank you missedgehead .... I'm glad I'm not the only one). Go ahead Punk .... give us a few more kicks in your matches ...... you don't do them enough !!!! |

I don't think Punk is the best on the roster, but to call him a waste of roster space is just ignorant. He's got good talent in the ring, and he's got quite a following. He's entertaining to say the very least. Just because you hate a wrestler doesn't make them a waste of roster space. Sim Snuka is a waste of roster space. (If he wasn't Jimmy Snuka's son, he would be off the roster. WWE likes to bring in Jimmy Snuka from time to time, so I think they may unfortunately keep Sim.) |

Punk isnt worthless, however he shouldnt be handed everything he can get his hands on. He hasnt done enough in WWE the win everything, We arent counting the indies here. Having the ECW Championship, then MITB, then World Heavyweight, then World Tag Team, the the Intercontinental, then ANOTHER MITB is tooo much for one year. Any people complain about Edge winning the title every month

If I were to bet I would say yes.  Kinda sucks for all of the Punk fans since he cashed the mitb and it failed miserably! Too bad. He shouldn't have tried to be a weasel since lighning doesn't strike twice for him apparently. The attempt failed because Umaga attacked him before the bell rang and the cash-in could be put into action - he still has the case.. Also, explain how announcing beforehand that he was going to cash in, is being a weasel?.. I really question if you're old enough to be on this forum sometimes.. I get the impression that you actually believe that some of this is real.. Well it shouldn't count since he cashed it in and the match was no contest therefor, still wht champ Edge! If he wasn't a weasel he would do what RVD did and have a match against Edge at the PPV in his homefield advantage. No I am not underage and I actually know that wrestling is fake. Your the one who is freaking out that your boyfriend may have f*cked up big time.

Wow you people take it too seriously. Punk is still money in the bank, WWE gets to decide if he isn't or not so people stop all the whining saying he should've lost it because blah blah whaaaa becuase it's fake. Glorified Jobber, how? Cause you don't like him still a former world champion and draws which makes him one of the mainstars on Smackdown.

Just type in cm punk cashes in mitb and it should pop up.
It doesn't seem that the bell rang so I think he might still have the briefcase.

Duke Davis sent in the following notes from the Smackdown tapings at Madison Sqaure Garden:
Just got back. Great show. Crowd was into almost everything, even the chick from the View.
To clear up the Punk thing any more, if necessary, here's everything that happened.
Punk hits GTS and pins Edge cleanly.
Edge is still laid out while Punk slowly gets up. He looks at his briefcase in the corner of the ring, and rolls out of the ring.
He gives the briefcase to the ref, and the ref goes over to the ring announcer. This was all relatively slow, much more deliberate and slower than the first time he won.
Punk rolls back into the ring, and the ring announcer says "CM Punk is going to cash in his money in the bank. The following match is for the World Heavyweight Championship."
A second or so after this ends, with no bell ringing, Umaga comes out and superkicks Punk. He gives him his tornado chokeslam uranage thingy, and lays him out. He then leaves back from where he came from (the traditional MSG side entrance, actually).
Edge slowly gets up, but suddenly, Jeff Hardy runs out. Hardy hits him with a twist of fate, then quickly climbs the top and crushes him with a senton.
At this point, most of the crowd seemed to think the match was still on, and that Punk was still going to pin Edge.
However, Punk rolled out of the ring while Hardy's music played and he celebrated. Punk grabbed his briefcase and slowly stumbled back. Edge stuck around, since he was going to be in the dark match.
Live, it seemed like the crowd didn't react to Punk possibly winning the title until he walked towards the briefcase and picked it up. Then they started building up until he gave it to the ref, then they all went crazy for a sustained minute or so until Umaga came out. They went crazy again when Hardy came out, although this may just be because he was incredibly over.

Yeah but at least he's not gonna get buried by HHH like Orton will be soon enough.Again. Edge is supposed to be top talent. They sure as hell are not treating him like it. They are treating him like a jobber. This guy has not had a LONG PROPER REIGN (one was cut short due to injury) and is a lifetime transitional champion. WHy should ANYONE believe in him as champion when they know he will drop it in the next five minutes? Ridiculous. Therefore, I am not going to order Judgement Day, what 3 weeks from now because I KNOW that Punk is gonna cash it in and beat Edge for the belt. Why bother? mmmm , weeks before WrestleMania 25 , Undertaker lost , WITH VLADIMIR KOZLOV. CLEAN. John Cena has lost clearly too lately , but he is Superman so it doesn't count HHH? Well , he is the only one. Ey , I agree with you , and everybody thinks the same , everybody wants Edge to have a long reign , Orton & Christian too of course , but i think you shouldn't say than noboy would do what Edge did in the last SmackDown! tapings. |

I don't like it because, what, is Punk going beat Edge every week and then Umaga comes in? Preposterous. From my understand, Taker was not very happy jobbing to Koslov. Can't blame the guy. I seriously doubt HHH, or Cena would job like Edge did. Sorry, and I am one of the biggest fans of Hunter you will ever meet.
