I did these based on the bands costumes for the album The Elder. One of my fav KISS albums!  used a whole mess of different parts for each fig. lots of milliput and painting. I also have individual pics of each member. |

Looks great.....I saw this posted on one of the KISS websites (KISS Asylum I think).....years ago, I did one of Cheap Trick that made it in a ToyFare magazine.

This was the first album that did not feature the catman! it was the first one with eric carr, bv it wasnt until the next album that he truly got to shine as the great drummer he was. I may still make peter and a vinnie vincent tho. These were alot of fun to make!

damn nice! for me I never seen a custom of rock band group that kick ass! really awesome on sculpting.
What brand product did you use for sculpting?
either way they are awesome! 10/10 overall!!!!

I think Ace's head choice could've been better likeness but other than that they're perfect. I think Paul is the best of the four!! Looks just like him!! Who would've known that scan would work so well for him.
I'm inspired to eventually do some KISS customs.

My God, are those awesome!! I'm just as much a mark for KISS as I am for pro-wrestling. It's also interesting that you picked a KISS-era that wasn't necessarily the most popular among fans at the time, which makes them all the more unique. Those are just freaking amazing! I'd love to see your versions of Vinnie Vincent and Peter Criss if you decide to do them.

I am not a huge Kiss fan, but you did an awesome job on these, truly. Don't try to sell them though, because Gene will come after you quicker than Team Mysterio. Without a doubt, codpiece of the year.

These are just AWESOME. Now you need to build a diorama for them. Your House of 1000 Corpses display is tied with FamousJ's Ronnie Coleman figures as my favorite custom related work of all time. I'd love to see you make a Dr. Rockso.  I never finished mine. |
