Lashley is not your typical WWE reject because unlike Nash,Booker or steiner he is not nearing the end of his career and he can make a better run in TNA than he did on WWE and TNA did the right thing and off course I marked out when I heard the news!

Hahaa, this is so horrible and hillarious at the same time. Lashley is such a talentless roided up waste of life. He has zero wrestling talent and has no mic skills at all.
GO TNA! WOOOOEOEOOOo!! YAAAAAAAAAAAEAAA! TNA will get ratings now! Woo! Nice job TNA!
I give them credit this time around, because they didn't go and get a WWE reject right after his departure, they waited a good year before picking him up, good job TNA!! YOU IS THAZ BESTSSSS!
But seriously, I wanted this to be Taz, anyone but Lashley.

Bad move. Never fan of Lashley, God awful on the microphone and in the ring in my opinion. TNA can have him.

Well I never liked him because he is boring and not entertaining so I feel that Tna does not need anymore wrestlers like that.
At least he is not comming back to the wwe because he sucks, has no personality, and can't cut a decent promo to save his momma.

might not be bad. Maybe Angle could take a little time off to heal and just manage Lashley. Manage Lashley to the title, then turn on him, Angle vs. Lashley for the Title at BFG or something.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, here is the latest on the future of Bobby Lashley.
Lashley's camp has stated that Lashley has not signed a contract with TNA Wrestling, and that his appearance last night was for he and the company to become acquainted with each other. The plan would be for Lashley to do wrestling for TNA on a limited basis, while still training for MMA.
Lashley, who is 2-0 in his MMA career, is negotiating a contract with Strikeforce as well as negotiating for a June 27th fight with Bob Sapp. That fight would take place at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum for Biloxi for Prize Fight Promotions. Sapp has not agreed to the deal, but is reviewing the contract. Lashley could agree to the bout as early as later this evening.
I didn't see the point in starting a new thread about this so I figured this was a good place to post this. I don't usually believe much of what Dave Meltzer has to say but this is what he is reporting. If this is true then Lashley isn't going to do much for TNA. My personal thought is that Lashley isn't too sure MMA is for him. Why else would he bother showing up at all if he didn't have the thought of wrestling on his mind? As for whether it is a good move or not. I'm kind of indifferent at this point and time. I really didn't like or dislike Lashley in WWE he was just kind of there.

I can see good things coming from Bobby Lashley in TNA if they use him properly...

Bob Sapp vs. Bobby Lashley?! That'll be something. **** yeah. Im watching. And for that matter ill be watching Lashley in TNA as well. Im not sure where the "line" is between having to much of the "look" (well built , etc.) and being perceived as a "normal talented athlete" versus having whatever it is that wrestling fans dont find in Lashley. I know growing up Warrior (the look) , Hogan (big strong guy) , Sid Vicious (lol) and the IMAGE of LOD won me over. The same way that Batista , despite his shortcomings (whatever they may be) has my attention. Lashley at the very least has my attention and i dont get his drawback.

Bad because nobody cares one way or another about him.I know nothing about him myself and I have been a huge wrestling fan since 1974.I stopped watching WWE about 6 or 7 years ago when all that was left there were basically no name wrestlers and jobbers. After Austin retired fully, and The Rock quit and went into acting, and Kurt Angle went into ECW and became a jobber there basically,I lost all interest in wrestling, until TNA came around. And seeing that I have been a fan since 1974 I have seen them all, come and go since 5 or 6 years ago,and WWE does not interest me at all anymore, for the reasons that I gave. There is nobody in wrestling like Kurt Angle,Steve Austin,or The Rock, except in TNA so these WWE wrestlers now are a bunch of no names and jobbers. At least to me they are. They could never beat an Austin,Rock,or an Angle any of today's wrestlers. Cena has pushed more merchandise than Rock and Angle put together. He may not be the best wrestler out there, but he's DEFINATLY bigger than Rock/Angle.

It's not out of the realm of possibilty that Cena's sold more merchandise given how Angle's been a heel most of his career and Rock never had one definitive piece of merchandise but even then I'm not entirely sure. But merchandise is only one part of wrestling, actually drawing money on PPV and crowd attendance is another. And The Rock absolutely blows Cena out of the water in it.
