Regrettably as of April 10th 2009, Eddie Guerrero, Brian Pillman & Mr Perfect will no longer work with SPW, however the parties remain on good terms and the door is open for the 3 men to return to SPW when they can.

In Happier news, SPW has just signed contracts with 2 of the finest British Wrestlers that the island has to offer. Expect "The Dynamite Kid" & "William Regal" to debut soon. It is thought that Dynamite will fit into the Legends Championship Division and Regal will join the SPW Championship Division.

Expect Ric Flair to make a major announcement at 13:00 GMT today regarding Legend's Weekend amongst other things.

Ric Flair: It's time for the old man to speak, For weeks I have been thinking about Legends and what constitutes a legacy.


Ric: And Then I won this title. So after the match I go home and watch the Wrestler, and I see Randy "The Ram" Robinson trying to recapture his former glory and I think wow.


Ric: Because you see, for the last 30 years, I have been "The Nature Boy", "The Wheelin' Dealin' Kiss Stealin' Son of a Gun" but when I look in the mirror, I see a sad, old 64 year old man trying to hang on to his former glory.


Ric: Because I have become something I never wanted to be and that is one of these old dogs who can't let it go, they always have to have one more race before they retire.


Ric: I don't want to be remembered like that. I want to be remembered as "The Nature Boy" not the guy who couldn't let go. I don't want that for me...


Ric: I don't want that for this title and I don't want that for my family.


Ric: Which is why, after Legend's Weekend I plan to retire, my final match will be against a man I deeply respect, Terry Funk. But I don't have a match for the show on Friday night, so since I won this championship I have been thinking about how I could face in my second last match, the two options were Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho. But Shawn is out with a knee injury and no one knows when he will be back.


Ric: So Chris would you come on out here please?






Ric: Chris thanks for coming out,


Ric: What I have to say now is, on Friday during Legend's Weekend would you do me the honour of facing me in this ring...one on one?


Y2J: Ric, I will and believe me the honour is all mine.


Ric: Thank you.

Cool segment, although I thought Jericho would beat him up. He made a heelish impression on me during the Thrillseekers-Segment. ;D
