hehehe very cool - I love your hasbro customs mate - always bring a smile to my face. Hasbro's will always be a good memory for me...I still remember buying my 1st ever hasbro from WHSMITH - was the hulk hogan and 1st edition warrior

Looks really good. You did a great job on the lettering and overall look. I laughed when reading you what you wrote saying you "one I knocked up." Nicely done..

wow! Can ya tell me the formula you used for that? I have no idea for which head you used! Yeah mate, The head come from a hasbro 'knock off' line released by a company called mannix. Its not easy to find them these days, some dollar stores still sell them and in random figure lots on ebay. anyway, the legs are bossman #2 and the torso/arms are from the bushwackers. Much thanks to the people who replied, i know 90% of this board either dont like hasbro or dont remember them. I however believe they belong in the top 5 'best things ever' table. cheers

That is great mate. I was never keen on the Diesel head in the bootleg line, but with your repainting it does look like him and it has the menacing look he had.
The logo is also very good, glad you did not use a decal.

Pretty cool. I was a little stumped when I saw the head but when you showed the figure they sell at dollar stores I instantly remembered seeing it before. Very innovative idea.

Yes, more custom Hasbros! You don't see them often, and it's always so great to see a new one.
You did a really great job with that. Is that really just a repainted Mannix Diesel head?? Man, if so, I'm even more convinced that the head was really intended for Diesel; it's sculpted much too well with too good of a likeness to be a run-of-the-mill bootleg.
I'd really love to see someone do the same kind of work-up on the HBK head. Someone should really cast those and make them available to us Hasbro customizers/completists since they're so hard to find now.
Did you sculpt tassels on the legs? I can imagine that if Hasbro did go through with a Diesel, that's just about how it would have really looked. How tall is he in regards to the others? That parts combo makes it look like he's just a tad taller, which would be neat.

yeah mate, its 2 or 3 mm taller than the average hasbro, the bossman legs help heighten the figure. The comeover on the head helps too.
ive tried to get the knock off (no glasses) hbk head for A LONG TIME, never been able to get hold of any, i would also love to cast it, but only if i had two of it

Very nice Diesel! The Mannix figure head does lend itself to making a Big d very nicely. I like your painted details and the fringe on his pants. Nice job! I have all those Mannix figures in a plastic tote somewhere. I actually have 2 of those 30 gallon things full of Hasbros to customize with. I can mold and cast them if there's enough interest. And here's one I made a few years back, I like your better!: Warsman

and you were an official judge for customania? hmm Thanks for your imput, just a couple fo things i want to fire back about it! in fairness mate, i never asked to be a judge, i made comments about the figs in customania, they were more detailed than the majority of others, i thought i made comments that made sense and that i could stand by and i do stand by them, i was then asked if they could be used as a base of judging. So as for your remarks, if you dont like that then why dont you suggest something better, like an official pannel of judges for every tourny? did you judge? think you said you were going to but never got round to it... Ive got no issue with that. Also, ive been on here looking, making, buying and selling customs since AFR closed, i think my opinion is fair enough really. In the past, ive made comments on your figs based on the quality which seems to always be very high, wether you like mine or not, it would be appreciated if you could reply on the custom rather than trying to be funny.

I would so be SOOOOO interested in the Mannix heads of Diesel and Shawn Michaels and...well probably whoever else came in the set....lol

other members of the set were - Hogan (same as official with bandana), Razor Ramon (exactly the same as official), Lex Luger (same as official), Adam Bomb (same as official) and a really crap looking sting.
think that was it
WARS - Id be interested in a big quantity of molded heads if you can make them, in fact a large number of jap figures too if you can. Can we speak further on this?
