it looks very nice indeed, the are a couple of smudges on the back lower legs and the stripes on the boots could be a bit cleaner, but over all, its an excelent figure, well done

Its a nice figure at first glance, but with further inspection, I see a lot that I dislike. First off, the gear I think you were trying to capture was more of an aqua color than a baby blue. The CSDA Jake the Snake probably would have been a better option than the Honky Tonk man as a base. The paint is also really amateur when you see it in the more detailed pictures. the tie-dye type print doesnt look very good as it looks more like assorted sloppy lines than a flowing print. It looks a bit as though it was rushed. I would recommend taking some more time with the Shawn and making sure that the lines mesh with each other and blend rather than being thrown on there. The last two pictures for instance really show the sloppiness of the tights. There are spots where the paint seems to run thin and other where it is just glopped on. Also, the boots look quite sloppy. The lines arent clean and it looks like some of the colors could use more coats. It would be fairly easy to clean up if you really wanted to take the time to do so. What I do like is the tassels. On the back of the boots, the wrists and the waist they all look excellent. Also I would recommend using a cruiser torso for Marty. He was never that big of a guy, but I can look past that seeing as you used a Honky Tonk figure as a base.
As it is now, I'm not particularly a fan, but it shows potential and could be fixed up fairly easily. Take your time with the Shawn and it will look much better than this Marty.

Thanks for your input. It wasn't really rushed, its just the attire was really hard to do because I had to keep switching up the colors. As for cleaning up the smudges, thats easy to fix for me. I was actually going to glue all tassels as the colors in the beginning, but that would of been too messy. I wasn't trying to go for a clean look, but I wasnt trying to go for sloppy either. lol. thanks for your advice.

as classic said at first glance it looks amazing. But the closer you look you can see some places that definitely would benefit from some touching up. I can't wait to see Shawn.

very nice work Nelly, i have an HBK and a Marty head on 2 bodies and i still can't decide what attire i want them to have. i guess your Marty has inspired me to give it a go with this. i honestly do not see anything wrong with it. the tassels look great. i guess CalssicDAs is right on the base color of the tights but it's really no biggie. looks incredible and this by far my favorite customs of yours.

Two Words: Rainbow Brite.
But seriously, that is one of the best Rocker customs I've seen. I wish I could get a set like those for Ashley for her HBK collection.

I think it looks pretty good. Like you said, maybe fix up the lines a bit, but other than that, everything looks pretty accurate. So I would give it a 9/10.
However, if you wanted a 10/10, you need to do HBK with the Jannetty. Then to top that off you need to make HBK in different attires. Starting with when he was in the Rockers, then when he went into his singles career as his "HBK" character, after that you need to turn him into a babyface with his other attire, follow that up with when he was part of DX, and lastly, you need to put him in his current attire. So I don't want you to make 5 separate figures, I want you to put all 5 attires in one, then we're talking. And then you can have a 10/10! Oh wait, you need to have Michaels throwing Jannetty through the Babrbershop window, now that's a true 10/10!

Looks pretty good, man.
Was that a real attire of his? Omg, that's so horrible, lol.
