I attended the TNA tapings last night while on vacation in Florida. I first want to say that the building they run in is pretty nice in person but the fans who attend are jerks especially the ones who you see all the time down in front. They fight for their same spots and if anyone takes them they start crap. Also security is awful and the whole thing is run like a cheap indy with people cutting in line and so forth. Other than all this I had a good time.

I didn't see the Monday tapings so some of this didn't make much sense to me.

They had a dark match first with someone named Adromeda beating an unkown guy. It was not very good. The Andromeda dude did a gay gimmick.

Jim Cornette came out and announced a 20 man gauntlet inside a cage as the main event. The final two men would then be captains of teams at Lockdown for a 4 on 4 match.

After this there was like a 10 minute break for some unknown reason.

Suicide beat Kioshi to retain his X Division title. This was ok but far too short. After the match Suicide was attacked by Shelley and Sabin and then Lethal made the save.

The Beautiful People with Madison Rayne beat Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed. There was no Kip James at all during this and one of the guys who comes to all the shows told me he was released. This was pretty decent. After the match they tried to cut Awesome Kong's hair but she ran which made her look like a punk to me.

Some backstage thing with that Survivor girl and Foley but there was no sound.

Sting came out and cut a promo. He called out Foley and they went back and forth. He asked him why he hit him with a chair. Foley never really gave an answer. Sting challenged him to a match at Lockdown and he accepted. They didn't say it would be for the title so I dunno if it will. Foley looked very fat and could hardly walk but the fans loved him. Sting was pretty over as well.

The 20 man gauntlet was next but first they set the cage up. While they did that Borash came out and talked and gave away some merchandise. This took like 10 minutes. I saw SoCal Val at the food stand during this and asked her why she has not been on TV and she said she will be back soon in a very special role. She was nice and let me get a picture with her.

The gauntlet took place. I can't recall everyone in it but here are some. Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Booker T, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Team 3D, Eric Young, Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Brutus Magnus, Abyss, Matt Morgan, the fat Angle security guy and some more. The first two went five minutes. Each man then came out every minute. This went like 30 minutes total. The rules were odd at first as Cornette had said the final two would win but that's not how it went. It was the two who escaped won which were Joe and Angle. They had a stare down and then brawled. Joe got the best of it but Angle ran away. Joe celebrated and then left. So these two will captain teams for a 4 on 4 match at Lockdown. My guess for the teams are Angle, Booker, Nash and Steiner vs Joe, Styles, JJ and Eric Young but we will see.

Sting/Foley should just be for the title. I'm sure TNA could figure out a way to have a cage match end in a dq.

Apparently according to several websites the 20 man gauntlet in the ssos has tons of spots, given loads of time and is a match you should go out of your way to see

They're really making Suicide look like complete shit. First of all, at the PPV, he did basically nothing spectacular, got his ass kicked the whole match and then the first week of defending his title, he gets attacked. Please, make your champion look at least somewhat credible.
