Dark Match:
* Kofi Kingston defeated Ryan Braddock with his finisher. Braddock cut a heel promo before the match and said he would be headlining WrestleMania 27.
ECW on Sci-Fi for tonight:
* Mark Henry with Tony Atlas defeated DJ Gabriel with Alicia Fox
* Tyson Kidd with Natalya defeated a local guy named Matt something. Kidd hit his big elbow move from last week and looked quite impressive.
* Tommy Dreamer beat Paul Burchill with his signature DDT. Pretty boring typical match here with Boogeyman coming out and pulling Katie Lea under the ring. Burchill got distracted and Dreamer got the win.
* ECW Champion Jack Swagger successfully defended his title against Christian Cage. Christian was over huge with an ovation from the crowd that beat out most of the RAW stars for TV. Match of the night here, surprisingly.

I'd rather, if they give Christian the belt, they give it many more weeks of build, and the pay off at Mania.

what was the dreamer storyline again I believe it was he said if he didn't win the ECW by June 6th he was going to retire. |

Ok, Tyson Kidd beat someone named Matt something or something like it...and Christian/Swagger was really good. Was it better than the match on ECW when Christian returned? Oh yeah it was. Near fall, after near fall. After that match, I thought the crowd would be dead...and we would be if we didn't open RAW with John Cena and Vickie. But the end is really predictable. I whispered to the person next to me "Ok, reverse here, unprettier, reverse, gutwrench". And that's what happened. |
