I'm quite shocked you didn't use Chris Masters for Paul Roma. They are almost an exact double of each other haha. wow, i hadn't even thought of the resemblance between the two of them. But now that I look at the pictures of Roma, they do look alot like each other.

AMAZING Kronik, really think you captured them perfectly. I really hope Mattel sees these, realizes what a cool looking set it is and completely copies your ideas. Love them.

You should try a custom Mortis. Or Kanyon.

Amazing KroniK Axe! Super clean painting, excellent detail and perfect sculpting mods, as usual. Love the accessories too. The Clark head is a great likeness, may I ask what head you used for him? And are the sunglasses removeable? (And if so can we see pics without the glasses please!) Oh and also can we see more pics of the WCW Tag Titles? The only thing I would change about them is I'm not sold on the DH Smith head for Adams. I don't think it looks much like him facially. If I'd made them myself I'd probably have used an R3 Test head instead, with resculpted hair of course. Plus I'd have gone RA style with their red/silver design attires (singlet for clark, mesh top for adams). But that's just my personal preferences. Great job! You should try a custom Mortis. Or Kanyon. Yes! Would love to see both of these from you, Axe. Or just more WCW customs from the Monday Night Wars in general. I always think that your customs look straight out of the Jakks factory. And obviously a lot of deserving WCW stars missed out on the Jakks CS treatment...

those belts look "shiny" and to be honest, metallic and real. I have no idea how you did that. The figures are great as always. The jackets and belts really set them off, plus the stands put them in a whole other category of great looking figures. Excellent job.

Do you have any more of the Crush figures for sale? Couldn't find your eBay in 49 pages because I'm too damn lazy!

Those customs look pretty sweet, I have a question though. They look painted. That seems like that would look a little weird next to other un-painted figures. Doesn't seem like they would "blend in" with Mattel ones that weren't painted also. Hogan looks 8 feet tall also, I'd like to see his scale next to other figures. I think his shins are way too long. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. Aren't you the person that made the one Hogan figure? Hogan is 6'7" in real life. The figure is a Koslov figure, who is 6'8". I cut about 3mm off the shins, which would make the figures in approximate scale. In regards to the painted/unpainted look. I'm unsure what you're referring to when you say, "they look painted." The fact is, they are painted. As far as looking "weird" next to other Mattel figures, they are customs; look around the board. My customs are inarguably one of the closest replicas to actual released figures. Furthermore, people in customizing need to know when to paint/leave the skin tone alone. In the case of Hogan, the tones didn't match up (and Hogan was never pasty white like Koslov). In the case of your Hogan skin tone, it is far too pasty white (which is inaccurate, and the head color does not match the body color). To me, that looks more "weird" than altering the skin tone to make a more uniform and accurate piece. When discussing accuracy, scale is not the only dimension to consider.

It is more like a "who are you response," than a "you got under my pasty white Moscow (I mean Venice Beach, California) skin.

It is more like a "who are you response," than a "you got under my pasty white Moscow (I mean Venice Beach, California) skin. Eh, Even still if you want to say painting your figure from head to toe makes it better, your still not choosing the right color to paint it, and I still say its weird anyways. Your figures are not as close to Mattel as it gets, because Mattel DOES NOT paint skin. You'd almost need to make Hogan the same color as THE ROCK figure for it to be 100% accurate. Which in that case Hogan would look like a black dude or a Samoan. (not that there's anything wrong with looking like a black dude or a Samoan) But Hogan is a Caucasian, granted he is a Caucasian with dark hot dog colored skin, but I guarantee you if Mattel makes his figure they will not make him the same color you are using. Or even me for that matter. But I bet I'll be closer. I wish they made a Kozlov or Kane in the same tone they use for Macho man or Paul Orndorff, but they don't and the kozlov/kane figures fit his body type and are not that "pasty white" as you put it. Besides the R3 head color matches perfect with no distinction at all. I don't know where your R3 came from, maybe it was left out in the sun and tanned itself, but mine was fresh out of the package and matched up no problem. Anyways, I wasn't trying to insult you or your customs, but I think you took it that way and got all defensive. I wish you Best of luck selling your customs and I hope you have hours and hours of fun painting skin tones on your wrestling mens.

I'm uncertain about how painting one action figure, and switching a few parts on others entitles you to an artistic opinion. The fact is, your custom (yes, singular) "pales" in comparison to anything I've made, am making, or will potentially make in the future. (pardon the pun/idiom reference). Moreover, how do you have a voice regarding painting, when you clearly mentioned in another post about taking figures to your "paint guy" to paint for you? Furthermore, until you can step toe-to-toe with my abilities, find another thread to post in. (I think I will place a "wink" face at the end of this post, to aggrandize the ol' ego from my "fix up" abilities). Really? Do you want to continue?
