You know how Jakks has LJN throwbacks with each of their classic lines? How great would it be if Mattel made Hasbro throwbacks of Cena, Triple H, Edge, Jericho, RVD, etc? I would realy like that. Can you see it ever happening?

I think this would be a great idea.

Ya they could make new "ACTIONS" like RVD doing the triple thumb pump, etc. The expression in their face, the simplicity of their designs and the memories we all ahve of them are just ripe for parody. Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there are more Hasbro collectors / customizers out there then LJN's at this point. That is just based off seraching "LJN WWF" vs "Hasbro wwf" on ebay. Bigger market for Mattel...

Soething tells me that with mattel the classic figures will be the chase figures. Hogan, Savage, Andre and the rest won't get their own series but will instead just be chase figures in the main line.

That would be fantastic! I mean, obviously they wouldn't be playable, but as I would keep them MOC, I see no reason why that should matter. I'd love some Hasbro throwbacks.

You know what, that actually sounds like a good idea and I think it would be the best way to introduce classics to the Mattel WWE line.

just a thought but perhaps it was easier to do a ljn chase figure as the company no longer exists so not as much red tape to cut through. as hasbro is still in business, it may be more difficult to get the rights to the old hasbro designs.
i'm no expert in this field but just thought i'd share my opinion with everybody.
but would love to see this if it was possible.
