Watched Flair vs Funk "I Quit" from Clash of the Champions in 1989 just yesterday. Love that match for some unknown reason. One of the top 20 ever I think. yeah thats a cracker.....Flair and Funk had chemistry for sure.

Recently watched Survivor Series 1998.
Great show, some good matches in the tourney with Pac/Regal, Kane/Taker, Rock/Mankind, and others.

inspired by the RR heritage HBK figure that was shown at NYCC I watched RR95 and 96 for HBKs victories.
not bad.

just watched...
taker/mankind austin/hart hbk/sid
from survivor series 96. a thread earlier got me into looking for that. austin/hart was a really good match. without remembering the weekly shows back then, this probably put austin really on the map for the upper card scene... he dominated the entire match, and hart won with the flukey roll up reminiscent of wm8 when he beat piper for the ic title. sid/hbk was what it was, the crowd really made that match.
and as i type, im watching the entire survivor series 97 event. im about halfway through... nothing special as of yet, mankind/kane was a nice little brawl though. but in those days... when wasnt a foley match a nice little brawl? foley could sell a 3 year old into looking like a beast.

I had been watching some old SNME and I stumbled upon the battle royal from April 91. This was the first time I ever realized Shawn Micheals may be more than a tag team wrestler. It was a nice trip down memory lane since I hadnt seen it in ages. I included a link for anyone thats never seen it. Match starts at 3:15.

UnderTaker Vs. Bret 'Hitman' Hart Special Referee: Shawn Michaels WWF Championship match WWF SummerSlam 1997
Again, another classic, damned perfect match from 1997. Taker was ontop during this time, it was the best he ever was during his first run, from 97 till 99 was Taker at his best as the Deadman. Bret was also just at the top of his game, and Michaels, well Michaels played the 'face being heel but really being a face' role perfectly.

HHH vs Kevin Nash in HIAC.bad......just bad
in no way was Nash presented as someone who was gonna beat HHH during his "reign of doom".
I then realised that HHH only lost ONCE in HIAC....to Batista.but in fairness that was a good match.

Stone Cold Vs. Shawn Michaels WWF Championship WrestleMania 14
One of my favourite WM matches ever, just love vintage HBK, but I have to be honest, this is the first time I've ever noticed just how bad his back was bothering him, I mean watching the match he clearly can't do very much after the turnbuckle smash. But damn, he still pulled off an insane match with Austin, great way to leave really.

Batista vs HHH in HIAC?ah no that was a good outing IMO..... well here this thread is at 100 pages. when I started this thread before I was the mod I got 3 PMs from members who told me "it was stupid, would die within a week and stop clogging the board with my poop topics"those guys will remain nameless but dont dont post here because Im Mod. to them I say you.this thread was never off page 1 thanks to you lads!! in honor of this getting to 100 I watched the match that made me start it........I know I started this over an Angle match but the following was my 2nd post Scott Steiner vs Goldberg at Fall Brawl 2000.a great over the top power move brawl. very underappreciated encounter.

the great muta vs stunning steve austin spring stampede 1994, us title
a great match, ruined by that ridiculous over the top rope disqualification rule. what a terrible rule that was... but not nearly as bad as the no jumping off the top rope rule they had for a couple minutes. i realize they were trying to seperate themselves... but they shouldve just let the in ring work, and credible wrestlers do the talking, instead of ridiculous rules.

Diesel Vs HBK- Good Friends, Better Enemies (The jacknife through the table is such a sick spot to me for some reason, even after seeing all the craziness we've seen in comparison by now)
Mankind Vs. HBK- Mind Games (Not so much related to the match it's self. But I like when Foley sits up when they open the casket. This also has another great table spot)
Taker Vs. HBK- Bad Blood HITC (Awesome match, nuff said)
I put in the from the vault disc two tonight just to watch that last match I listed.
