NEW DA Vintage "Surfer" Sting

Here are pics of my new DA Vintage Sting custom. I also include a reference photo for the attire and paint I chose to use. Feel free to comment. I also used my pro camera to take these pics and boy did it make a difference. No blurry photos or photos that just seem off. These came out magnificently.

Thats amazingly spot on, the head choice is brilliant. Only thing i see that could be fixed is the eye colour but it would be damn hard.

That's really nice it really reminds me about the first time I seen him in action on either nwa or awa I think it was NWA , but agin it was so long ago.

I think it looks really good. Nice head choice, but I think there's better choices. The painting is really clean and smooth. There's a couple of edges on the face that are iffy, but overall you did a great job.

Nice Stinger you have there, i can't believe how well the Drago head works for Surfer Sting. The painting looks really clean and smooth too, good job!

Since you can't see the boots in the reference pic or in the pictures of your custom, I'm really curious as to how you decided to do them.

I find that to be a problem with reference pictures of Warrior, Savage, and Sting, especially: they all wore many different styles of boots, and the best reference pictures to use for outfits or facepaint usually cut off at the knees.

LOL!! Good point. I went with the short kickers. From being a Sting fan for so long, I throughly remembered how bis boots looked. But I chose to stay simple and just paint the short kickers blue.
