Don't ask, this is a debate me and my bro seem to have everytime we watch MOTD, so i just wanna see what you guys think, Ashton or Harewood? Who is betta? I know most won't care much for either but try and think about it and vote for who you think is better . For me Ashton.

I'm not a fan of either, or convinced either are good enough to play Premiership football week in, week out, let alone search for England places, but if I have to choose one, it would be Ashton. I know Harewood scored a beauty today, but that was against a knackered Reading back-four, who had already been playing for 80 minutes. Put him on from the start, and he always proves useless.
As for Ashton, he has his good games, and his bad games. Again, not consistent enough.

Harewood, every time he comes off the bench you know business is going to pick up!

Harewood without a doubt in the season before last his goal tally was pretty good and this season despite only coming of the bench he still score's goal's easily.
Ashton was over-hyped at the beginning of last season as the saviour of england when in reality only two footballer's should have been given the oppurtunity to do that johnson and bent. My opinion of Ashton has been the same since his first stint in the premiership as an average striker who barely score's or influence's a game he's lazy and is a white emile heskey. Since his return from his ankle injury he still is average and look's lazier than ever i think he's had one good game this season where Harewood has turned around several games for villa from the bench.

Eh, i don't think he is lazy and i don't think he is over-hyped, at the beginning of last season he was called up to the England squad and the performances he had given for West Ham and then he broke his ankle, he hasn't returned properly yet which is a shame for West Ham and England as if he was fully fit, West Ham would be closer to the pack chasing Liverpool and well he would deffo be in Capello's squads easily. His biggest attribute is that he can influence a game, so he is not just the guy to score the goals, he has a brilliant touch and is able to control and flick the ball like an English version of Berba, just because he hasn't been able to showcase his skills for nearly 2 years, does not make him a bad footballer, we just have to be patient and when he is fully fit and able we may find Owen's replacement in him , Owen is cooked imo.

Ashton for me, Harewood is a good player on his ay but his day comes about once every 5 weeks, Ashton on the other hand when fit is quite consistent and can fidn the net.
