Okay so Raw is War (or Monday Night RAW) was about to go on USA network, what would you do before hand?
I would:
- finish homework (or has mush as I could. ) - take a shower - leave the T.V. on USA so I can hear the WWF intro. - set the "flip" button on the controller to TNT, so I can watch Nitro on commercial.

exactly. there was a lot of flipping channels. great time for wrestling.
The next day in school, all of my friends would run up to each other and discuss what happenned the night before, and we'd sometimes perform moves on each other and trade action figures.

I watched both. I would have already been watching Nitro as well. For instance, during 1998, it was hard for me to keep focused on one channel. 1998 is my favorite year for WCW. WWF in 2000. In 1999, I danced between quite alot.
I would either set the channel to USA and wait for Raw to begin in a few minutes, or I would watch Nitro during its first hour until Raw started.
I don't remember watching Nitro all that often (although I probably did on-and-off) when Raw was on, but I remember many times where I would catch the replay of Nitro late on TNT. I would always tune to Nitro when Raw was delayed for whatever reason, too.
I seriously miss those days, but I still tune in every Monday night and look forward to Raw; I can't imagine what Mondays would be like without any wrestling at all.
I'd mostly wach RAW and switch to Nitro during commercials. Sometimes Id put Nitro on the small picture-in-picture screen, but RAW was the main priorty.
Musician, documentary addict and most of all wrestling nerd
I watched the first hour of Nitro when I believe they started at 8 at one point while Raw came on at 9. Then I wouldn't give a crap about Nitro till Raw was over. Could usually catch the last few minutes of Nitro's main event since they went over like Raw does now.
they were on Friday nights here in Ireland on Sky Sports
I would play Snooker after School until about 7
go see Nicola my girlfriend at the time until about 9.30 then go home to see Raw-never missed Raw.I would always tape Nitro.if I was going to the Cinema with Nicola I would tape Raw and just miss Nitro.......those were my Friday nights from ages 16-19 ;)in the years 96-97.Saturday night was Beer night but Friday was always for Raw
miss those times
