I've seen reports online today stating that several fans waiting outside the Joe Louis Arena (site of tonight's Royal Rumble) spotted Rob Van Dam entering the arena. I can't confirm or deny that so you must take it strictly as a rumor for now. I can't stress that enough as we all know what happened when a fan emailed us several weeks ago and stated he saw Christian at the building and it turned out to be false. This guy with the RVD newsbit today has emailed us in the past with very good fan reports so I do want to take him seriously although I CAN'T confirm this report at this time. We'll see tonight.
I've also heard for the past several weeks that Christian was scheduled to start with WWE tonight at the Royal Rumble. There have been no sightings of him at the event as of just a few hours ago although numerous people were still arriving at that point.
Today's top searches on the front page of Yahoo.com include Academy Award-nominated actor Mickey Rourke and the WWE Royal Rumble. The star of The Wrestler was listed as the fourth-most searched for person/item of the day with the "WWE Royal Rumble" falling in the ninth spot.
There will be several 'surprise' entrants in tonight's Royal Rumble from what I'm being told.
The Royal Rumble match itself will end the show.

Great that the Rumble will end the show. I hated when It was in the middle.
