I expected this figure to turn out about as good looking as a turd but I wanted to try it anyway and the more I worked on it the more I liked it. In the end it sure isn't perfect but I am pretty pleased.  sorry it is a little blurry  The "O" is sideways I didn't realize I was looking at the picture wrong until it was painted on. Also while my "Ortiz" isn't as good as some folks do it isn't as bad in person as it looks in the pic. I think that the folds in the pants make it look odd in the photo. The tat looks great. The head is pretty good. The paint job on the Ortiz is pretty good for hand painting a difficult font.

it looks like carlito had a tattoo party...lol...really though it doesn't work on a few levels, Ortiz is way too big for a cruiser torso, carlito's head doesn't work for the face or the hair. the tat's aren't too bad, keep practicing and think about your part choices more carefully.

not too bad, it's probably about the right height in comparison ( i thought ortiz was like 6'6 or 6'5....he's 6'-6'1) and the attire is neat and accurate. Not the bets head choice, actually...the DA carlito with the screaming scan would've probably worked better. or you could've taken carlito's hair and put it on a different head. the tattoo could use some work too

not horrible...But the head doesn't work.
You will improve though. I see little signs of someone who in the future will be a great painter...
just don't be afraid to try new things..The hair of carlito works..but the head doesn't...if it were like a HHH head with the carlito head on top of it, that would look better...just keep practicing.

I reckon if you gave it a bit of facial hair/ stubble it would improve it, and maybe black eyebrows just to make it less carlito-ish
But the body is real good, especially the tatts

Definitely needs stubble on the face. Also think it would be better with the HWT torso.
