- Last night's interview by Tommy Dreamer, where he stated that his ECW contract expires in five-months, is basically a "shoot" being turned into an angle. Dreamer's contract does expire in June, and it appears as if this is an exit storyline for Dreamer as the word going around is that he is leaving the company when his deal is done. If and when Tommy Dreamer leaves the company, he will be the last of the "ECW Originals" to leave, as well as the last person that was part of the official relaunch in 2006. [Credit: Pwinsider.com]
That's too bad. I have a feeling he's just going to end up putting someone like Swagger over at One Night Stand, but damned if I'm not a huge Tommy Dreamer mark and want to see him win the title. I don't care if he drops it the next night, I want Dreamer to have that damn belt! He won't, but I can still dream.

I'm kind of glad he will be leaving WWE's ECW. It's not ECW just Heat/Velocity with a new name/ GM/ & their own belt. I rather see Dreamer on the indy scene doing "Hardcore Reunions". Plus I'd love a shoot interview from him.

I honestly think he should job to Swagger in his last match. If Flair didn't win his last match, Tommy Dreamer shouldn't.

I'm going to sincerely miss Dreamer. There's something about the guy that I've always found incredibly entertaining. This sounds like a real way to have him leave the WWE.

Dreamer never wanted to hold the world title in ECW so I imagine he doesn't want to hold it here since WWECW is nothing but a joke as to what the real ECW stood for.
