Jack Swagger just defeated Matt Hardy at the ECW tapings prior to RAW to win the ECW Championship. Swagger got the win after throwing Matt into an exposed turnbuckle. The show ended with Tommy Dreamer saying that if he doesn't win the ECW Championship by June, he'll retire.
This will air tomorrow night on ECW on SCI-FI

I can see Dreamer winning the belt in late May. That's cool that Swagger is champ, he's grown on me lately.

As I said in the other thread... It may be a bit early, but hopefully Swagger becomes a talent that sticks. I don't mind him with the belt. 4 Months as ECW Champion for Hardy, a month or so more than his U.S. run.

;D yes this is awsome news for me,may be abit early for swagger to get the title on some level but im glad he has got it.Ever since his 1st match i could see he would be a big playa for ECW.

I think I might start watching ECW again. Not because some Jack somebody won the title, but to more than likely see the last few months of Tommy's career.

I really hope Dreamer gets the belt, because Swagger is just awful... Ughh the Burchill's lost too.. Is Burchill ever going to win a ing match?.. What a horrible ECW.. |
