That is the best Savage custom I've seen yet! I now wish that I'd picked up one of those dang Tank Abbott shelf-warmers at KB Toys. Brilliant custom!

Your customs are usually top notch, but I'll say it...THAT is the BEST custom I've ever seen! WOW! You did an outstanding job on the headscan. Good job. Hope you get some time and inspiration in the near future, as I can now no longer wait to see how you top this beauty.

I dont like the head. Painting, design and idea is fantastic. But the head looks really bad. And as much as I dont like the Ada head......this one is not better. Even the hair and beard arent painted correctly.

Finally it has be done. I think you nailed the beard area perfectly, which many many many, and even many more have tried and tried head after head and never gotten to work. Robe and Headband help top it off. Paint job is superb. Hair sculpt looks great, considering his frazzled caveman hair.
Great job, I'm completely impressed.

You obviously have no idea what the Macho Man Randy Savage looks like. The beard and hair could be a touch darker but not enough to say that it isn't painted correctly. Savage had much lighter hair in the eighties. I would definitely like to see you or anyone else do a better job. Many have tried including Ada and failed miserably. This sure the hell beats all of those fools that use Knox or Leapin Lanny heads. He took a garbage head and turned in to gold. |

I own one of the Ada heads and that one blows it out of the water as far as looking like Savage. Granted, they both have a very good resemblance, but hers looks like a WCW era Savage mid-match with pre-WWF hair. Yours looks like what I picture when someone mentions Macho Man, so kudos to you.
The problem with the Ada head, IMO, is how sunken his cheeks are and the really bizarre expression. You've fixed that, and it looks a lot more like him.
Honestly, I really think you should cast these and sell them, because I wouldn't mind having one. An upgrade of sorts, perhaps.

I agree, I bought two Ada heads and where as I am not disappointed by them, yours looks considerably better to me. I would definitely buy a couple if you casted them. Talk to Joel if you don't care to take on the duty of casting them he may do it for you. |
