OK here's some pics of the new repacked Kane dvd I took pics of. I also posted these up at www.dvdtalk.com. Feel free to put these on wwedvdnews or where ever you wish just give credit to Terra Ryzing from WF. The "new" repacked release was found at Walmart in Centereach, NY on Long Island. They are $5 and in the $5 bin. Only a few posts up here on WF you will find the source that led me to find out these even existed! DVD wise-There's no change in the content. The UPC#'s are identical. THe only thing different is the casing layout. This is how it should have been originally as everyone knows the original casing was cheap and crappy and easily scratches dvds if even just the wind blows lol. Ejnoy the pics. In the first 2 pics, the original release is on the left, while the repacked "new" release is on the right. The second 2 pics are of the "new" repacked release.

No idea on that one, but I know this one is, and it's up to the minute fresh. It's from dvdtalk.com forums Official Wrestling dvd thread. Check the site out and sign up to post. A lot of knowledgable posters over there and less of the childish bs we see on WF from time to time. brianmercy.webs.com/Complete%20WWF-WWE%20DVD%20List.pdf

It's pretty good, I use to it to keep all my dvds in order.

Add me to the list of people who bought the Kane DVD for $5. But interestingly enough it wasn't repackaged at all. It was the original packaging. Either way, I'm not complaining.

I tried watching some of the best of WCW Nitro on instant view last night. I just couldn't do it. Those boxes around the screen were so annoying. I won't be buying that dvd for sure now.

If that's case you won't be buying many wwe dvds featuring pre-2008 footage because they now do that for all the releases. I like it just because it keeps the aspect ratio accurate on my HD tv. Without those bars the picture would stretch to fit the screen making the wrestlers look shorter and chubby. Also, those bars wouldn't appear on the dvd version if you have your dvd player set to Pan&Scan or Letterbox format, it just shows the middle in that case. Options like that aren't doable on the Netflix.

Is it just me, or does everyone get this when they post on this thread: "This page took too long to generate and has been stopped. A log of this error has been reported to ProBoards Support."

I sometimes get it, but not all the time. The thread could be glitching and it could be a sign to make a new thread. Its happened in the Entertainment board with the "What are you listening to" thread. But that one went 900 pages. I don't know why it would happened here. As far as the screw job match not being on the DVD version that is BS. That's the most memorable moment of the rivalry and why the feud has lasted this long, sadly. What a stupid decision it was not putting that on DVD.

Artwork subject to change.
I like the line up. I'm not too Hung up on not having the screwjob match. I've seen it enough times.

It says one there that artwork is temporary, so we'll see how that goes.
I would think there were more matches they could have added, but the ones they have should be good. I think the interview is the most important part anyway.
I'll definitely be getting it, as I own all dvds they've put out for both men. Also, I'd like the rivalries series to continue.

The screwjob is already available on a few other releases anyway.

Just pre ordered www.Kayfabecommentaries.com upcoming shoot release: You Shoot with Danny Doring. I know you're probably thinking "why the hell would anyone want a Danny Doring dvd?" LOL. First off, the www.Kafaybecommentaries.com crew is awesome at what they do, and if you want to see why I continue to purchase their product regardless if the guest is a huge star or not, then check out the You Shoot dvd with Sean Waltman, or either of the You Shoot dvds with Jim Cornette. Great stuff and a fun way to spend a couple of hours!

Is it just me or is anyone else excited about the future of the WWE GREATEST RIVALRIES DVD/Bluray line? There are SO many possibilities:
Rock VS. SCSA Bret Hart VS. SCSA HHH VS. Rock HHH VS. Shawn Michaels Dudley Boys VS. Hardy Boyz VS. E&C Undertaker VS. Kane
Just to name a few, anyone else have any they would like to see?

Booker T revealed on his Twitter account (BookerT5x) earlier today that WWE is going ahead with a new King of the Ring DVD release, and that he’ll be hosting it. A King of the Ring themed DVD was first revealed to be under consideration at WWE back in May, when it was included on an in depth survey sent out to fans. Booker T left the following messages on Twitter: Yes new project? I’m going to host the king of the ring DVD later this month, you heard from me first. Tell what u think. Yes I’m going to do it as the greatest king of them all KING BOOKAAAA!!!!!!!! Sounds like he begins filming footage for it this month. Since there’s a host, it’s not looking like this will be an Anthology set but rather a “Best of” compilation. www.wwedvdnews.com/wwe-king-of-the-ring-dvd-2011-2012/16144/Guess its better than nothing. Im sure the finals of every tourny will be in it. Havent seen Owen vs Razor in a long time.
