WWE SmackDown: Friday 9th October 2009...Nice segment to kick off the show with Edge coming out to the arena, but what does he mean by 'CM Punk got lucky last night'? Unless you mean last week, I can't remember what happened last week, haha. Good idea for this triple threat main event between Shelton Benjamin, Edge and Jeff Hardy. Decent way to kick off the show inside the ring with Paul London and Brian Kendrick returning to tag team competition, defeating Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. I hope you turn London and Kendrick heel, that'd be interesting. They could easily become the new Midnight Express if only Jim Cornette came back. Or not, they could just be great, cocky heels; The Paul London and The Brian Kendrick. Sounds magical. Nice win for Gail Kim and Michelle McCool, beating Maryse and Natalya. The SmackDown divas division is strong, I must admit. Amazing first-hour main event with World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk beating WWE United States Champion, John Morrison. It's just a shame that this didn't main event, but nevermind. Lame occurence with Big Show and Umaga with Chris Masters. Further attack on Show is okay I guess. I wish that this succession would end. It's slowing Umaga's potential, as he could easily still have a chance to main event and be champion. Wonder if you'll have him die? Would make for good drama, as tragic as his death was. Glad that the WWE Tag Team Championships didn't change hands; The New Hart Foundation are a lot better than the Technicians. Lastly, good win for Edge, gaining contention to CM Punk's title at Cyber Sunday. Great episode.
WWE RAW: Monday 12th October 2009...Hmm, good way to open up the show with Evan Bourne taking on Elijah Burke and winning, but I feel that the show should have opened up with a promo rather than a match. RAW used to open with matches of this calibre, but unfortunately we may never see two midcarders grace the opening contest on RAW. And it's odd that the promo with Eric Bischoff didn't open up, really. Wish it had, but nevermind. Triple threat match always happens before a multi-choice poll for a match at Cyber Sunday, could be pretty good if Ted Dibiase sneaked a victory. Beth Phoenix beating Maria is fine, a filler match. Didn't really mean much and I feel you could have had a better match on. Montel Vontavious Porter, shameful to say has had a weak WWE Championship reign. MVP's spent a majority of time in midcard matches, and his challengers, like Triple H, John Cena, et cetera have all stuck to main events. MVP should retain the title at Cyber Sunday. I hope to see him hang onto it until at least Armageddon or the Royal Rumble. Joe Hennig got an opportunity though, which is what matters most. Batista's segment sounded brutal. Looking forward to the stipulation-poll for Kane against Batista at Cyber Sunday. I despise the Second City Saints winning the World Tag Team Championships. Really sounded like a bad match and it seemed demoralizing for the division that it only got six minutes. I know this is RAW, but the whole division were made out to look bad. I wish that Shad Gaspard and Jayson Paul had a longer reign. But wait...Dolph Ziggler and The Miz winning the titles? I love that. It's unique, but still sort of demoralizing for RAW's tag team division. Great main event win for Ted Dibiase, but would have been more realistic if Dibiase had pinned John Cena instead of Triple H. Nevermind, was an interesting edition.
ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 13th October 2009...Good win for Tyler Black I suppose, but I really think that, as the new World Tag Team Champion, Dolph Ziggler should have picked up the win in this one. Even if it was a sneaky win, it'd be good for Dolph Ziggler and The Miz's reign. Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy picking up the win against Rey Mysterio and Tommy Dreamer was fine, no problem there. I really dislike Mr Kennedy regaining the ECW Championship considering we are pretty close to Cyber Sunday. Kevin Thorn hopefully still sticks in there, but the Brood seems to be almost disintergrating which is a shame. Decent episode this week, but was lacking somehow.

Surprised that you had Black win, especially when Ziggler had tons of people in his corner. Some alright promos/segments following that. Swagger and Hardy winning is okay, glad that they beat Dreamer and not Rey. And lastly... your winner of the match and new ECW Champion... Champion... Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy... Alright edition of ECW there, still got the good stuff rolling, Kev.

10/16/09 Preview
-Last week on Smackdown, Edge defeated Shelton Benjamin & Jeff Hardy in the main event to earn a World Heavyweight Title shot at Cyber Sunday against CM Punk. Edge will be part of a huge ten man tag match in tonight's main event. On one side will be Edge, Umaga, Chris Masters, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder. Big Show was told to select the other team and he has informed us of his choices. Teaming with Show will be Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Kofi Kingston and the World Heavyweight Champion himself, CM Punk!
-Also last week, United States Champion John Morrison took on CM Punk in a Champion vs. Champion match, but came up on the losing end. He'll be involved in another Champion vs. Champion match tonight, but he'll go against ECW's Television Champion, The Hurricane. Can Morrison be the winning champion tonight? Or will last week repeat itself?
-Jeff Hardy's chance at a shot at the World Heavyweight Title was ruined by Chris Jericho last week. Hardy has promised to address "Our Savior" tonight, but before he even gets a chance to do that, he'll be in action. Hardy will be taking on one of the most impressive youngsters in the WWE, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, TJ Wilson. Wilson came close to beating him once before, can he do it this time?
Find out all of this and so much more when you tune into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!

October 16th, 2009 Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia Attendance: 12,501
Friday Night Smackdown opens with a video package showing Edge beating Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin last week to become the number one contender to CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship. After the opening fireworks display, Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to another exciting edition of Smackdown. They hype up tonight’s enormous ten man tag team main event and the fact that we will find out some big news regarding Cyber Sunday from our General Managers tonight. CM Punk’s theme hits as the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. He gets in and grabs a microphone. He talks about last week’s main event and how, thanks to Chris Jericho’s interference, Edge stole a victory and now he gets another shot at the World Heavyweight Title. Punk says that he’s fine with that and he’ll enjoy the chance to beat Edge once again but he wants to know what the stipulations are for their match. This brings out Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero. She says that she wants Punk to pick a stipulation, Edge to pick one and she and Vickie will decide on the final one. Vickie tells everybody that Edge’s choice is a Steel Cage match. CM Punk says that he really wants to prove that he can beat Edge no matter what, so he wants a 2 Out of 3 Falls match. Stephanie and Vickie talk to each other and surprisingly agree on the choice rather quickly. They say the final choice is a TLC match! The crowd goes nuts at this choice. She tells CM Punk good luck in tonight’s main event, but before they all go to the back and let the show continue, she announces that we will see a No Mercy rematch at Cyber Sunday when Chris Jericho takes on Jeff Hardy. They will announce the stipulations for that later tonight. Commercial Break. When we return, the WWE Tag Team Champions are in the General Managers’ office awaiting their return. Once they walk through the door, Stephanie thanks them for coming in and says that she has an announcement for them. She tells them that they will be defending their Tag Team Titles at Cyber Sunday against the fans’ pick of challengers. They can choose between The Technicians, The Colons or the newly reunited Paul London & Brian Kendrick. The New Hart Foundation tells her that it doesn’t matter who gets chosen, because they will run through them just like they have all year.Non-Title Champion vs. Champion Match Television Champion The Hurricane vs. United States Champion John MorrisonMorrison requested this after losing last week’s Champion vs. Champion match. This wasn’t as good as Punk/Morrison of course, but it was still very competitive and back and forth. After Hurricane missed his Shining Wizard, Morrison struck and hit a nice neck breaker. He followed that with a springboard kick to the back of the head and then the Moonlight Drive effectively ended it. Winner: United States Champion John Morrison (8:38) ***¼Big Show and CM Punk are shown in the back, hyping up their team for tonight’s main event. Punk tells them all to leave Edge to him if they can and Show says that he wants his hands on Umaga and Chris Masters.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match The Colons vs. The Technicians w/ Kelly KellyThis wasn’t the greatest of matches, but it served its purpose to get two of the teams that can be voted for in the Cyber Sunday WWE Tag Team Title match. The contest was kept rather short though and was back and forth. Carlito got the win for his team after hitting Jamie Noble with the Back Cracker. Winners: The Colons (5:11) **¼We cut to the General Managers’ office once again, to see Chris Jericho enter. Stephanie asks if he came here to complain about having to face Jeff Hardy at Cyber Sunday. Jericho tells her that he actually came to thank her because this is what he wanted. A chance to avenge his fluke loss to Jeff at No Mercy and to get back into the World Title picture. He also came to ask about the stipulations for that match. Stephanie says that the fans get to choose between an I Quit match, a Submission match and a Last Man Standing match. Jericho smirks and leaves.Commercial Break.
Singles Match Jeff Hardy vs. WWE Tag Team Champion TJ Wilson w/ Harry Smith & Natalya NeidhartBack on July 17th, these two met for the first time and it was a classic. They did it again tonight, and it started by Wilson showing off what he learned from Bret Hart. He worked on Jeff’s leg throughout as he made sure to ground him. Jeff eventually managed to take the upper hand and hit his signature moves. He got a few near falls but Wilson just would not stay down. Jeff climbed to the top for the Swanton, but his leg gave out. Wilson missed the springboard elbow and Jeff was set for the Twist of Fate. Jericho’s theme blasted and Jeff was ready for the oncoming attack. Jericho never came out though. Jeff turned back to Wilson but got hit with the Code Blue for the upset. Winner: WWE Tag Team Champion TJ Wilson (11:51) ****Chris Jericho comes out to the top of the ramp and applauds the job of the New Hart Foundation and laughs at Jeff Hardy.Commercial Break.Josh Matthews is shown backstage as he’s standing by with “The Gold Standard” Shelton Benjamin. He asks Shelton about losing in last week’s main event. Benjamin says that while it sucks that he lost out on a World Title shot, he reminds us that he can still get a shot at Cyber Sunday and he taps his briefcase. He says that he has a feeling he’ll be cashing in sooner than later.Divas Match Divas Champion Gail Kim vs. Michelle McCoolNatalya stayed at ringside to do commentary. This was a competitive, friendly contest as both Divas have respect for each other. They went back and forth for a short while until Maryse came down to ringside. She distracted Gail Kim and that allowed McCool to hit the Faith Breaker for the win. Winner: Michelle McCool (5:09) **After the match, McCool noticed that Maryse distracted Kim and she got upset with herself for taking advantage. She argued with Kim about this, when the Champion got up, as Maryse laughed at ringside and Natalya laughed at the announce table. Vickie Guerrero came out on the titantron and said that the Divas Title match at Cyber Sunday is the last match that needs to be finalized by a stipulation choice. So the choices for this match will be Falls Count Anywhere, Lumberjill or Bra & Panties. The four Divas continue to stare each other down as we go to commercial.Commercial Break.
Ten Man Tag Team Match Big Show, Brian Kendrick, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Kofi Kingston & Paul London vs. Chris Masters, Curt Hawkins, Edge, Umaga & Zack RyderA lot of time went into this match and nearly everybody got a chance to showcase their skills. As expected, Punk’s interactions with Edge were the most exciting and the best part of the match. Show’s altercations with the two big men on the other team, Umaga & Masters, also went very well. After a long time, the finish came. The hot tag was made to Show, who cleaned complete house. He knocked Umaga to the outside and called for the end. Most of the other men in the match had begun to brawl with each other outside, leaving only Show, Hawkins and Ryder. Hawkins and Ryder ran at him but got caught with a double Choke Slam and Show pinned Hawkins for the victory. Winners: Big Show, Brian Kendrick, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Kofi Kingston & Paul London (18:22) ***½As the winning team celebrated in the ring, CM Punk raised the World Title and stared down Edge as he left up the ramp.© WWE 2009

- I hope for a TLC match for Punk/Edge. That would be really brutal and fun. - Good match with Hurricane/Morrison. Hopefully Morrison moves up on the card. - Okay tag match with Colons/Technicians. Carlito should be pushed in singles IMO. - Great to see Wilson pinning Jeff Hardy. That is a huge win for him. - When will Benjamin cash that damn briefcase in?! - Very good main event to get everyone on the show, it seemed. Always have been a fan of 10 man tag team matches and mayhem associated with the matches.

Punk vs Edge in either TLC or Steel Cage. Just not 2 out of 3 falls . Morrison winning is great, it didn't really matter to me which one of them won cause I like them both. Colons/Technicians tag match, meh. Wilson pinned Hardy! Nice. McCool winning? Divas Title match coming I believe? Awesome main event and good ending.

Figure Punk/Edge will be TLC. Like how Morrison wanted another champion vs. champion match, the win for him was logical. Colons winning was somewhat surprising. Jericho/Hardy rematch is good. Hardy jobbing to Wilson is meh, even with the distraction. Glad McCool won; figure people will vote for B & P. Interesting 10-man tag match for sure, Hawkins doing the job isn't too much of a surprise. Pretty good show, served its purpose as a stepping stone for Cyber Sunday.

I love C.M Punk versus Edge and the stipulations are great. I am very glad to see John Morrison go over The Hurricane and I am surprised to see The Hurricane as TV Champion. I was pretty shocked to see The Colons win, but I can deal with it. I am extremely pleased to see TJ Wilson defeat Jeff Hardy, great booking there. I love Jericho laughing at Hardy after the match. I love Benjamin hinting he will cash in the MITB briefcase. I like Michelle McCool going over. Huge main event and I feel that any team could have gone over. Good show.

- Ten Man Tag sounds good. - I expect a TLC Match will win the most votes. - Jericho v Hardy is great, I really like that feud. - Any of those three teams would be great choices of challenger for the tag champs. - Morrison over Hurricane is good. Like that he won. - The Tag match did what it was meant to, and built towards Cyber Sunday. - A Last Man Standing match would be a good feud ender. I expect Jericho will win in the end. - The Jericho distraction was perfect to set up the finish. TJ looks strong, but Jeff doesn't look weak. - Shelton cash in is gonna be great when it eventually happens. - Good that Michelle wasn't happy about her win. Boosts her as a face. - The Faces winning is good. Glad to see that Edge and Punk got some good time to work with each other.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 16th October 2009...Great opening promo for CM Punk to come out to the ring and prepare himself for the match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Edge at Cyber Sunday. My complaint is the stipulations, I think they're a little random. TLC is okay, but two-out-of-three-falls? Steel-cage? Very random, and not really necessary. By the way, while on the subject, I'm not a fan of the fact that a majority of the matches for Cyber Sunday are assigned as gimmick match polls. Nonetheless, should be a good main event, ten man tag team bout? Stacked. Good cross-brand win for WWE United States Champion, John Morrison against ECW's WWE Television Champion, The Hurricane. Morrison competes in a lot of Champion vs Champion matches, I actually like that. The Colons are still a team? Hmm, anyways, seems like you somewhat lost interest in pushing Jamie Noble and Charlie Haas as the Technicians, but good win for Primo and Carlito. The bout at Cyber Sunday for the WWE Tag Team Championships seems very easily, for Paul London and Brian Kendrick to face the New Hart Foundation. Speaking of which, grand win for WWE Tag Team Champion, TJ Wilson over Jeff Hardy, but although it powers rage for Hardy in the feud with Chris Jericho, it demoralizes Jeff slightly. And the stipulations for Hardy/Jericho are bad, really. Submission match would be the most violent a gimmick match they'd get, there's hardly any history for a Last Man Standing or an I Quit match. Michelle McCool over Gail Kim is fine, no problem. Lastly, amazing tag main event although it'd be extremely clustered. Good show overall, but I don't know what to think about Cyber Sunday with all of these gimmick match stipulations. It's just bound to get clustered, TNA style. Amazing swerve with Umaga passing away, though. I expect you now to cancel a week of WWE television in dedication to Eddie Fatu, considering he died whilst in the company.

CM Punk opening segment was good. The stipulations seem alright. Hurricane/Morrison is a solid match. Not surprised to see Morrison go over since he is the bigger star out of the two of them. The Colons over The Technicians made me think that you were going to have The Colons challenge for the titles at Cyber Sunday. Then I reliased that we vote. Shocked as hell to see TJ Wilson go over Jeff Hardy, but I suppose Chris Jericho costing Hardy the match works. McCool over Gail is fine. I hope Maryse wins the strap at Cyber Sunday. HUGE main event. Nice way to give Show some momentum again since he's been stuck in handicap matches as of late. Curt Hawkins taking the fall was the correct decision.

10/18/09 Edition-The WWE will not be turning all three shows this week into tribute shows for Eddie "Umaga" Fatu, only Raw. Anybody who wants to participate on that show can and will. ECW and Smackdown will be recorded as regular shows, not tribute specials. -Early reports are saying that the three top Champions in the WWE will be retaining their belts at Cyber Sunday, which would make it three straight Pay-Per-Views with that happening, the most all year. Again though, these are early reports only. -As stated before, expect Zack Ryder to get a singles push as the "Woo Woo Woo" guy. His push will most likely come on ECW as a trade is expected to go down after Cyber Sunday. Rumor has it that it will involve two tag teams, Ryder & a top star from ECW. -With Ryder moving on to ECW possibly, Curt Hawkins seems to be left to rot, but that's not the case. Down in FCW, Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta have been making waves as the Dudebusters. The WWE is thinking about bringing them up and pairing Hawkins with them, making a new stable on Smackdown most likely.

SmackDown, wow, a huge announcement to kick off the show. Should be a great match at Cyber Sunday! And another match announcement. Glad to see Morrison with the victory here. The Colons over the Technicians, two of the three choices for the Cyber Sunday match, wonder who will get chosen? Nice stipulations for Jericho/Hardy. Nice victory for Wilson, gets him over for the Tag Team match at Cyber Sunday and builds the feud between Hardy and Jericho. Meh, divas, but good match choices for CS. Massive Main Event, glad the faces got the victory. Good show, Kev, can't wait for more.

Raw opens a little differently this week. Instead of an opening video package, we open to a picture of Umaga, saying rest in peace. It shows that he lived from 1973-2009.The commentators don’t open up; instead Lillian Garcia is in the middle of the ring. The entire WWE roster, sans The Undertaker, is around the ring and up the ramp. Lillian announces that we will begin with a ten bell salute. As the salute goes off, wrestlers can be seen crying. CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Big Show, Edge & Stephanie McMahon are among those who shed tears. After the ten bell salute we go to a video tribute for the Samoan Bulldozer. Commercial Break. We return to see Maria Kanellis sitting backstage in front of the camera and she’s crying. She says that her and Umaga were actually good friends and she saw him as a teddy bear. She says that she will miss him.Tag Team Match Elijah Burke & Intercontinental Champion Kaval vs. Evan Bourne & R-TruthRaw’s midcard put on a very solid tag match here. The focus seemed to be on Bourne and Kaval to promote their big Intercontinental Title match in six days. After some back and forth action and a hot tag to Bourne, the heels picked up the victory after Burke nailed Truth with the Elijah Express. Winners: Elijah Burke & Intercontinental Champion Kaval (8:31) **¾Burke and Kaval celebrated their win and Kaval stared down Bourne while hoisting his Championship up.Commercial Break. We return to a short video showing Umaga’s debut, where he attacked Ric Flair.Divas Battle RoyalAll the WWE Divas participated in this Battle Royal, and as expected when that happens, the match itself wasn’t very good. After some rapid eliminations the match came to a pretty quick final four. It was down to Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix & Gail Kim. After some quick back and forth stuff, Beth eliminated both McCool and Kim. James would then toss her out after a hurricanrana. Winner: Women’s Champion Mickie James (5:21) *½Now, we go to Triple H in a backstage area and he talks about how he remembers Umaga. He mentions their brutal feud early in 2009 and says that it led to one of his best WrestleMania matches ever and he’s damn proud of that.Commercial Break.Another video clip for Umaga is shown, this one highlighting his eight month undefeated streak.Singles Match Big Show vs. Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ LegacyShow, who was in the middle of a feud with Umaga at the time of his death, was very emotional coming into this match. He dominated the early goings as Dibiase seemed to have no chance until he chop blocked the big man. Dibiase took over after that and locked in the Million Dollar Dream. Show began to fade but eventually fought out of it. He went for the Chokeslam, but Dibiase slipped out of it and rolled him up, with his feet on the ropes, for another upset win. Winner: Ted Dibiase Jr. (8:47) **½Jeff Hardy is shown on the titantron, to a huge ovation from the crowd. He talks about how Umaga was one of his greatest rivals throughout his career and he, like Triple H, is proud of his matches with Umaga.
We are shown an ad for tonight’s non-title main event, between WWE Champion MVP & Kane.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk & ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy vs. Edge & Matt HardyIt was a little weird to see Edge and Matt Hardy on the same team here, but they worked well together. They worked over Kennedy for the most part of the match and cut the ring in half. Eventually of course, the ECW Champion managed to make the tag to Punk, who came in and cleaned house and got the crowd hype. That turned the match around and he managed to seal the deal after pinning Hardy after a Go 2 Sleep. Winners: World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk & ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy (11:19) ***
Commercial Break. We return to see clips of Umaga’s classic Last Man Standing match with John Cena at the 2007 Royal Rumble. Many people consider this to be his greatest match ever.
Right after that video, we see John Cena backstage, crying. He talks longer than anybody about Umaga and mentions his feud with him and that Eddie Fatu was a great man.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match The British Alliance w/ Layla London & Katie Lea Burchill vs. The Second City SaintsThis turned out to be nothing more than filler. Both teams put on a decent match, but the crowd was just about ready for our main event. This didn’t get much time and the Saints picked up the victory after Steel hit Regal with the Steel Spike. Winners: The Second City Saints (6:14) **¼After the match, the Saints made gestures that they were coming for the World Tag Team Titles that they lost last week.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match Kane w/ Paul Bearer vs. WWE Champion MVPThese two turned in a very good performance for a main event match. Kane had control early on, by using his power and size advantage. MVP blocked his Chokeslam attempt, which allowed him to gain control. They ended up going back and forth towards the end of the match when Kane had him up for the Tombstone but MVP grabbed the top rope and stopped it from happening. Kane managed to drop him with it anyway and he covered but MVP got a foot on the bottom rope. He picked up MVP, but got kicked in the guy and MVP connected with the Playmaker. He didn’t even go for the cover, knowing it wouldn’t be enough to take out Kane and he hit him with the Drive-By. Winner: WWE Champion MVP (12:30) ***¼MVP celebrated as the show was about to close, but we go back and see the video tribute of Umaga once again.© WWE 2009 [/center]

Classy opening segments too remember the great Umaga. I love that you are doing candid comments from superstars to remember Umaga. A solid opening contest and I like that the heels won. Mickie James winning the Divas Battle Royal was good, but I would have also liked McCool to win. I would have liked the Big Show to defeat Ted Dibiase Jr. just because he was the one feuding with Umaga upon his death. I cannot actually picture Ted rolling up the Big Show for a victory. I love that the World Champions were able to win the tag match as that makes a lot more sense. I think The British Alliance vs. The Second City Saints should have came before the Punk/Kennedy/Edge/Hardy match. Kane versus MVP was a solid way to close the show.

Very classy opening to salute Umaga. The superstar comments are a nice touch. Good opening contest, I would have preferred Bourne & R-Truth to win though. Not a fan at all of the Diva's battle royal, but it makes sense. DiBiase going over makes sense, but it was smart not to finish it cleanly. Good tag team match, although Edge and Hardy teaming is a bit weird, although I would have preferred to see them pick up the win. Decent tag team match but nothing more than filler and didn't really fit with the feel of the show. Nice to see MVP going over Kane, but it would have made sense to have a bigger main event.

- Good way to open the show. - Okay opening tag team match, good decision to not have Kaval or Bourne involved in the finish. - Good win for DiBiase Jr. Didn’t expect that to happen. - Excellent first hour main event, I would assume. - Nice win for the Second City Saints. - Good way to end the show with MVP going over Kane. MVP has been made out to be a good WWE Champion. - Overall, a good tribute show and yet you still managed to promote feuds.
