Nice opening segment - Im hoping MVP wins at SummerSlam Good Match here Bourne picking up the win is great. Nice bit with JBL I'm hoping he dosent win. Great match with Low K... I meen Kaval. Glad he's getting Pushed. Wonder who Legacy defend against? Kaval? Bourne? Not sure on Tag Teams. Although theyre both heels I dont love Katie and Beth teaming up. They should be feuding. Nice win for Jayson. Not sure about Candice accompanying them to the ring aswell as Braddock but it dosent matter to much. Great battle royal. I was routing for a young gun like R-Truth or Rhodes but never mind. Triple Threat sounds fine. I was ecstatic when I saw Bishcoff great discison. Will shake things up on RAW. Overall great show. As usual.

Good opener, Cena/MVP is a nice fresh feud. Reminds me of Jord's diary too. Solid win for Bourne there although possibly a little weak for an opening match. DQ was good for the Kaval match to keep everyone strong. Like the idea of Legacy defending all their belts next week. Katie Lea winning her match made sense to put her over as champ. Glad Paul won since I like JBL's group. Main event was fine, and I figured it would be Bischoff who returns. Triple threat match looks nice although I'm sure Cena will win.

Decent opening promo to kick off WWE RAW, with John Cena celebrating with the WWE Championship. I am really looking forward to the rivalry in which Montel Vontavious Porter and John Cena have, but truthfully, I don't see alot of potential in MVP as a true main eventer, in my eyes, he is still an upper midcarder and cannot see him win the WWE Championship. Seems like the Cabinet is the mere bitchboys of the RAW roster, Ryan Braddock losing to Evan Bourne is fine, gets Bourne over as a part of the RAW brand, weak opening bout though, in my eyes. Hehe, the little angle with Kaval and the British Alliance is good, you should give the Brits a faction name, I like that concept. Nice promo with the Legacy, the two title matches next week should be fun. Fair womens tag team match, nothing special. Jayson Paul beating Tyler Reks is okay, I suppose. Decent main event battle royal, liked the tie ending there, with Batista and Triple H winning the battle royal. Should be good at The Bash, should be interesting how you manage to stretch the situation with MVP out to SummerSlam. Good show.

The Cena/MVP segment was great and they should have a decent match. The opening contest sounded great and allowed two rising stars to get air time. The aftermath was solid as well. Kaval winning was disqualification was alright, but it made sense as it keeps both talents safe. I like The Legacy promo. Beth and Burchill winning was the right call. Paul getting the win is nice and I wonder how this rivalry will continue. Interesting ending to the battle royal. Whoa! Eric Bischoff!!!! Nice. Triple threat will be nice.

June 30th, 2009 Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Canada Attendance: 16,788
Tonight’s show opens with a video package showing ECW’s highlights at Night of Champions. Gavin Spears beating Jack Swagger to become the new Television Champion. The video then slowed down and highlighted Mr. Kennedy finally defeating Elijah Burke after two failed attempts to become the new ECW Champion!Todd Grisham and Matt Striker introduce us to tonight’s sold out show. They hype up tonight’s show and say that we will hear from the new ECW Champion. As he says that, Kennedy’s theme music hits.Kennedy makes his way to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. He’s wearing a suit and has the ECW Title on his shoulder. He calls for the microphone and declares himself the new ECW Champion and yells out his name as usual. He begins to talk about finally winning the big one and how he will take on all comers when he’s interrupted by former ECW Champion Matt Hardy. Matt comes out and says that he wants to get back into the title picture on ECW and that he wants the first shot at Mr. Kennedy. Before Kennedy can say anything, Ezekiel Jackson comes out. He says that he’s been cutting a path of destruction ever since he got to ECW and his list of victims include Matt Hardy, so how is he in line for a title shot. Elijah Burke’s theme now hits. He comes out and tells Matt and Ezekiel that he gets the first shot due to his rematch clause. Kennedy tells that all that he’ll give each of them a shot, but Teddy Long makes his way out. He says that Mr. Kennedy’s first defense will be at The Bash next month and his opponent will be determined next week. But this week, these four men will lock horns in tag team action. Mr. Kennedy will team with Matt Hardy to take on Elijah Burke and Ezekiel Jackson. Commercial Break.
Singles Match Chavo Guerrero vs. The HurricaneLast week, Teddy Long told Hurricane that he could face off against an ECW villain tonight and he got his chance. Chavo made sure this match was a little competitive, but Hurricane held control throughout. After a short while, Hurricane put away Chavo with a chokeslam. Winner: The Hurricane (4:11) **In the back, we see Gavin Spears with Tiffany and he has his newly won Television Championship around his waist. They’re talking and Spears mentions that Night of Champions was the proudest moment of his career and he’s glad that Tiffany’s ok after the fall she took. Santino Marella comes up to him and tells him that he can’t be the Champion of Television if he’s not defending it on TV. So he challenges Spears to a title match next week and Spears, being the fighting Champion that he wants to be, accepts.Commercial Break.
Singles Match Dolph Ziggler vs. DJ Gabrielw/ Alicia FoxThese two have split recent matches on WWE Velocity and tonight’s match was a tiebreaker. They turned in their best match so far and Ziggler was in control throughout by working on Gabriel’s neck. Gabriel did get the upper hand and he climbed to the top to nail his diving European uppercut, but Alicia Fox got on the apron and shook the ropes, causing him to fall. As he got up, Ziggler came from behind and hit him Jumping Russian Leg Sweep to end it. Winner: Dolph Ziggler (5:28) **½Alicia Fox hugged Ziggler and walked up the ramp with him.Commercial Break. We return to see Finlay, Sheamus and Hornswoggle in the back. Finlay says that his nephew must prove his toughness if he wants to team with him, so this Saturday night on Velocity, Sheamus will go one on one with one of ECW’s toughest competitors…Hardcore Holly!Singles Match Tommy Dreamer vs. Tyler Black w/ The BroodBlack has put on some very impressive matches with CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, but fell short in both contests. He needed a win in the worst way here to prove to his Brood mates that he isn’t a failure. Tommy proved to be a tough test and after a while of back and forth action, Dreamer nailed him with the Spicoli Driver but Black got his foot on the ropes. Dreamer went for the DDT, but Black reversed it into a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. In the end, Black managed to put away Dreamer with God’s Last Gift. Winner: Tyler Black (7:04) **¾Black looked to the outside to see his Brood mates, but they were already on their way up the ramp. He seemed confused that they didn’t celebrate his win.Commercial Break.ECW returns to see Tyler Black catch up with The Brood. He stops Kevin Thorn and wants to know why they ignored his victory. Thorn tells him that the crowd seems to like him and that’s not what The Brood is here to do. They’re here to prove a point and take over ECW, not to be liked by the fans. Black says that he can’t help what the fans think. Thorn tells him not to worry about pleasing the crowd and worry about getting the job done.Tag Team Match Elijah Burke & Ezekiel Jackson vs. ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy & Matt HardyThis turned out to be the best match of the night. As expected, Kennedy and Burke continued to have their issues, but the main focus of the match was Jackson getting his hands on Kennedy. He was dominant in his time in the ring, locking Kennedy in a seemingly inescapable bear hug. Kennedy got out of it though and nailed a DDT. A short while later, Burke tagged himself in right before Ezekiel went to hit his Back Breaker Rack. Burke went for the Elijah Experience, but Ezekiel turned him around and hit the Back Breaker Rack on him. He then nailed Kennedy with a side slam and as Matt Hardy ran in, Ezekiel caught him with a Urangi slam. He then began to walk up the ramp and left the three bodies lying. No Contest (10:09) ***As Ezekiel was walking up the ramp, Mark Henry’s theme hit. We haven’t seen him since Ezekiel attacked him after their tag team match a few weeks ago. The crowd enjoyed seeing Henry, as they really don’t like Ezekiel. The two big men brawled on the ramp and eventually took their battle to the back. The camera goes back to the fallen men in the ring as they start to get up. The lights go out for a few seconds. When they come back on, Burke and Matt are again laid out. Kennedy is laid out as well, but he’s covered in a bloodbath as the show closes.© WWE 2009 [/center]

- Nice opening Segement, Im thinking maybe a Scramble at the Bash. At Thorn to the mix. - Hurricane winning is good. You should do something with chavo - Santino vs Spears could be good. Spears will win for sure. - Black over is great. Future TV Champ IMO. - Great main event. Jackson standing tall? A bit iffy on that. - Yess Henry returns. That should take Zeke out of the mix. - Fatal Four way?

Decent opening promo to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi this week, as Mr Kennedy came out to gloat over his ECW Championship win at Night of Champions. Is he only called Kennedy now? Strange. Nice that Matt Hardy, Ezekiel Jackson and Elijah Burke all got involved, should be a solid tag team main event for tonight. Suprised that The Hurricane and Chavo Guerrero didn't put on that grand of a match, think that it should of gone maybe three or four minutes longer, in my opinion. Santino Marella challenging Gavin Spears for the ECW Television Championship should be alright, can't see Santino winning, though. I see nothing good in Gavin Spears. Dolph Ziggler beating DJ Gabriel is fine, nothing too big. Filler contest, to some aspect. I think you've pushed Tyler Black too quickly in my opinion, him beating Tommy Dreamer I wish hadn't occured. Too soon in my opinion. Solid tag team main event, ah, there's the 'Mr' in Mr Kennedy. Mark Henry getting involved is nice, fairly good show overall. Lacked some talent however, where is Finlay? Sheamus O'Shaunessy? And Jack Swagger?

The opening segment was good and it makes the ECW Heavyweight Championship look prestigious with multiple men all wanting shots. The opening contest was solid, but a little short. I do like Hurricane picking up the victory and I think he could do good things on ECW. I like Gavin Spears as champion; however, I hope he continues to feud with Jack Swagger. His match against Santino should be good and a solid way for him to defend his title. Dolph Ziggler versus DJ Gabriel sounded like a great match and I think it is good to see two young talents face off against one another. Sheamus taking on HArdocre Holly should be solid. Tommy Dreamer versus Tyler Black was a great match and I am very pleased to see Tyler Black pick up the huge win that helps elevate his career. I wonder what is going on with Tyler Black and the Brood, however if the two split that could be good for Black. I like Kevin Thorn and the brood telling Black that they are mad that he is becoming popular, cool booking. The no contest finish was great. The aftermath was great. Overall, a great show.
And to Lynn: Finlay had a backstage segment that also brought up Sheamus.

Opening segment was fine. Great opening match, and it's fantastic to see The Hurricane get a win. Dolph Ziggler winning is amazingggg. I LOVE that you're going down the route with the fans getting behind the fans, and The Brood hating him for it. Weird way to end the show, but a good weird, lol. I can see Kevin Thorn and The Brood having attacked them.

I like the opening segment. Hoping Matt gets #1 Contendership, though. Hurricane winning is good, wouldn't expect Chavo to win anyways. Alicia Fox turning on DJ was interesting. I don't like her being a heel, but I like her turning on DJ. Sheamus vs Hardcore Holly will be good. Tyler Black winning was cool, don't like Dreamer anyways. The no contest main event was great. Love to see what will happen there. And I just noticed the Superstars' names go to their tron on YouTube if you click them. Very good idea. Can't wait to see more.

7-1-09 Edition-The official poster for WWE SummerSlam on August 23rd is finished. The WWE does not want to release it yet as it spoils the WWE Championship match. All that we can confirm is that MVP is on the poster due to him having a WWE Title shot at SummerSlam. -Jack Swagger was not at ECW last night due to some flight problems getting into Canada. He will be at next week's ECW though. -Expect the Scramble matches to return at Unforgiven this year. WWE feels like they were a success last year. As expected, there will be possibly one Superstar in each match that is young, up and coming. Much like The Brian Kendrick and The Miz being in two of last year's Scramble Matches. -Lastly for this week, there are already WrestleMania XXVI main events being tossed around. The WWE wants it to be a singles match, since a Fatal Four Way main evented WrestleMania XXV. Expect this 'Mania to be a lot like 13, XIX and XX, because they won't be main evented by somebody who is just a big name. Some names being tossed around to main event are Edge, CM Punk and Chris Jericho.

Hmmm. Swagger not being in Canada stinks for him. Oh well. MVP on the poster for SummerSlam sounds good. Can't wait to see the finished product. Scramble matches coming back is a good thing. I loved the Scrambles. Edge, Y2j, or Punk main eventing WM would be great. Pretty cool that a Cena or Orton or HHH isn't main eventing. I'm definately continuing to follow this now.

Smackdown 7/3/09 Preview
-The first WWE show of July is upon us and we will witness the fallout of Night of Champions. Randy Orton retained the World Heavyweight Title against Gold Rush Tournament winner CM Punk. Punk has promised to make an announcement tonight. What will it be? Will it have to do with the World Title?
-The Big Show made his return last week, showing his face for the first time since an injury in December. His return party was ruined by Mr. Money in the Bank, Shelton Benjamin. After trading insults, Show laid out Benjamin with a right hand. Also, last week, The Undertaker and Chris Jericho met face to face for the first time and Jericho ended their meeting with a disrespectful slap to the face. Tonight, Show teams with The Undertaker to take on Benjamin and Jericho in our main event!
-Also at Night of Champions, Kofi Kingston won his first United States Championship by defeating The Brian Kendrick in a fast-paced match. Tonight, Kendrick has cashed in his rematch clause and they will go at it one more time. Rumor also has it that Kendrick was upset with Lawrence Knight after the loss. Can Kendrick regain his title? Or will Kofi continue on his wave of momentum?
See all this and so much more by tuning into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!

RAWOh, a battle royal for the #1 contendership shall be good! Excellent and powerful segment between MVP/Cena. Really felt something between those two. Bourne win is awesome to open up Raw with man, give him a push! Good save from Reks & Curtis. Hell yes Kaval victory, even by DQ! Heres to hoping that Triple H doesn't win! Legacy segment was priceless; ahem. Typical Divas tag match with the heels winning, very nice. Interesting to see the Cabinet getting the victory there, seemed like a good match. NO! Double winners boo, Triple threat? BISCHOFF! HOLY EXCELLENCE! Great ending to Raw man! ECWNice main event you have planned for the night. Heres to hoping that Burke gets his rematch! Hurricane victory is very excellent Kev. Ziggler is the man, but before I go on, that Santino segment was excellent. Captured him very well. Also good to see Ziggler win man! Black winning through me for a loop, didnt expect that man! BLOODBATH; HENRY! WHAT AN ENDING! this diary is the shit!

Tonight's broadcast kicks off by showing Smackdown's highlights from Night of Champions. It showed The New Hart Foundation sweep the night as TJ Wilson and Harry Smith retained the WWE Tag Team Championship, while Natalya Neidhart retained her Divas Championship. It then showed Kofi Kingston capture the United States Championship from The Brian Kendrick and the video ends by showing Randy Orton retain his World Championship against CM Punk in a classic encounter.[ALL SUPERSTARS' NAMES ARE STILL CLICKABLE AND WILL LINK YOU TO THEIR TITANTRON/THEME MUSIC]Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to another exciting edition of Friday Night Smackdown. They hype tonight’s big main event of Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin taking on The Undertaker and the Big Show! They go straight to the ring for our opening contest.Singles Match Jeff Hardy vs. John MorrisonWhat a fantastic way to kick off Smackdown this week. Morrison continues to impress as he hung tough with a former WWE Champion. Hardy started out hot and nailed most of his trademark moves. He hit the Hardyac Arrest dropkick in the corner, the Whisper in the Wind and a sitout jaw breaker. Morrison would also hit his signature moves like a springboard kick, super kick and tilt-a-whirl head scissors. In the end though, Hardy prevailed after Morrison missed the Starship Pain and Jeff nailed him with the Twist of Fate. Winner: Jeff Hardy (8:37) ***¼The cameras cut to the back where we see Vickie Guerrero walking to the arena; she must be coming out here next!Commercial Break.Vickie Guerrero is already in the ring as Smackdown returns. She begins to talk about how her husband Edge has been having issues with her Co-General Manager, Stephanie McMahon. She says that Stephanie needs to realize that Edge is a vital part of Smackdown and she needs to keep him around. With that being said, Stephanie has suspended Edge until The Bash for putting his hands on her last week. She then said that if Stephanie wants to punish Edge, she’ll punish the one person who has constantly helped Shane and Stephanie this year and that’s Jeff Hardy. So, at The Bash, Jeff Hardy will go one on one with Umaga to end their rivalry. CM Punk’s theme music hits as he makes his way to the ring. He tells Vickie Guerrero that he has talked with Stephanie and she granted him this time to talk. Vickie shoots him a dirty look, but doesn’t say anything. Punk calls out the World Heavyweight Champion. Orton makes his way to the top of the ramp. Punk congratulates him on victory back at Night of Champions, but he says that anybody can beat anybody on a given night. It doesn’t prove that he’s better than Punk. Orton asks what he has to do to prove that he’s better than Punk. Punk tells him to accept his challenge for The Bash. Punk wants a rematch, one more shot at the title he never lost. Orton accepts, but Punk wants to name a stipulation. Vickie cuts him off and remembers that Punk helped Jeff Hardy save Stephanie last week. She tells Punk that he can name the stipulation on one condition. He has to beat Umaga, one on one, tonight. Punk shrugs his shoulders as we go to commercial. Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder vs. The Second City SaintsThe Saints seem to be able to handle their business against every team they face, except the New Hart Foundation. Things were the same here as they handled the former WWE Tag Team Champions rather easily. Hawkins & Ryder had control for a short while, but Goldman got the win for team after making Hawkins tap out to the Chicago Crab. Winners: The Second City Saints (5:10) **In the back, the dominant WWE Tag Team Champions are seen watching on a monitor. They look very focused before TJ Wilson turns to the camera. He brings up what they said last week and that’s the fact that the New Hart Foundation wants to add some more gold to their collection. They are vying for shots at the United States and World Heavyweight Championships and they won’t stop until they get fair shots.Commercial Break. We return to see Kofi Kingston in the back warming up for his first US Title defense later tonight. He has a rematch against the man he took the strap from, The Brian Kendrick.Singles Match; If CM Punk Wins, He Chooses Stipulation CM Punk vs. UmagaMuch like the opener tonight, this proved to be a very good bout. Umaga was dominant, as you’d expect, and he used his power to keep Punk grounded. A well placed nerve hold had Punk reeling until he managed to get some of his trademark kicks in. He followed that with his knee strike/bulldog combo and then a springboard clothesline. Punk looked to be in control until Randy Orton came down to ringside. Punk hoisted up Umaga for the GTS, but Umaga fought out of it. While fighting out of it, he accidentally hit the referee. Orton used that to climb in the ring and nail Punk with the World Title. He thought the referee was knocked out, but he wasn’t and he saw Orton’s actions. He called for the disqualification and Punk gets to name the stipulation for The Bash. Winner by DQ: CM Punk (11:01) ***Orton stares in disbelief as he just gave away a free stipulation for Punk. He stares down at the fallen body of the Straight Edge Superstar before slowly walking to the back.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Divas Match Nikki Bella w/ Brie vs. Divas Champion Natalya NeidhartThis turned out to be nothing more than a glorified squash. The Bellas are basically going to be managers for the Second City Saints from here on out as Natalya destroyed Nikki. She put her away with the Sharpshooter. Winner: Divas Champion Natalya Neidhart (3:29) *½After the match, Brie came in to check on Nikki and Natalya grabbed her by the hair. She drilled her with a sitout power bomb and then locked her in the Sharpshooter as well. Out came Maria to help but Natalya was ready for her and she nailed her with a big clothesline and clotheslined her to the outside. She went to clamp the Sharpshooter back on Brie, but Michelle McCool ran down. She traded fists with the Champion, but she eventually got bested after Natalya raked her in the eyes and nailed her with the sitout power bomb. The announcers ask if anybody can stop the Champion, when Gail Kim’s theme hits. We haven’t seen her in two or so weeks and she comes in and finally knocks Natalya to the outside. She motions that she wants the title back.Commercial Break. As the show returns, The Big Show is shown warming up for tonight’s match before the camera cuts to the General Managers’ office. Stephanie actually commends Vickie for her decision to make Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga for The Bash because it will be a great match. Vickie doesn’t like that Stephanie is taking the match so kindly and she storms off. TJ Wilson and Harry Smith enter the office and demand to know what was up with the entire Divas locker room coming after Natalya. Stephanie says that wouldn’t happen if Natalya wasn’t such a bully. She tells them that Natalya should pay attention to Smackdown next week because she will make an announcement concerning the Divas Championship. She also tells Wilson and Smith that she’s taking their title shot plan into consideration.United States Championship Kofi Kingston (c) vs. The Brian Kendrick w/ Lawrence KnightThis wasn’t anywhere as good as their Night of Champions match. Maybe it’s because they were pressed for time, but it actually might’ve been that Kendrick was focused on Knight instead of Kofi. He kept shouting at Knight to help him out or to pay attention. After a short while though, Knight made a mistake by tripping up Kendrick instead of Kofi. Knight realized his mistake and got on the apron, but he was knocked down by Kofi. Kofi then hit Kendrick with Trouble in Paradise to finish it. Winner and Still United States Champion: Kofi Kingston (6:40) **½After the match, Knight tried to explain himself to Kendrick, but Kendrick would have none of it. He slapped his body guard across the face and left the ring, leaving Knight standing there in shock.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Chris Jericho & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Big Show & The UndertakerAs you would expect, this was a very good match. Show showed some ring rust though, but that was expected. The usual tag formula did not work in this one as the heels couldn’t really dominate a member of the much bigger, face team. Eventually though, Shelton and Jericho worked over ‘Taker for a while, but still didn’t dominate him. ‘Taker made the tag to Show, who came in and cleaned house. Shelton was in big trouble after Show nailed him with a few moves. He went to make the tag, but Jericho backed away and got off the apron. Shelton looked shocked and turned around into a choke slam to end it. Winners: The Big Show & The Undertaker (9:56) **¾After the match, Jericho snuck his way around the ring and nailed Undertaker in the legs with a steel chair, knocking him off the apron. Jericho continued his assault and brutally beat down on ‘Taker with that chair. He placed the chair on ‘Taker ankle and stomped on it. It was at that moment that Big Show noticed and ran off Jericho, but ‘Taker was in obvious pain as the show ended.© WWE 2009
