- Obviously MVP was going to win considering the push he has been given lately. - Good finish to the Benjamin/Regal vs. Punk/Bourne match. Hopefully Benjamin wins the KOTR. - Glad to see Kendrick retain, though I hope for bigger things from Carlito. - wasn’t expecting a pin fall win in the main event, but glad to see it. Awesome main event for sure. - KOTR looks good. I don’t mind nine matches, that’s not overkill in my opinion.

Fine opening segment, match at KOTR should be good. Damn you for letting Maria beat Maryse! SCS winning was pretty obvious. Surprised MVP beat Umaga there, it made Umaga look a little weak. I think MVP would make a good KOTR. Punk/Bourne winning their match was fine, could have gone either way. TBK winning was cool, no reason to have Carlito with the strap right now. Solid main event, glad heels picked up the victory.

Right then Maria beating Maryse in the opener is meh, don't like divas opening the show and not a fan of Maria in-ring. Orton/Vickie mini-sesgment is alright I guess. I suppose Orton will get a future title shot... The Second City Saints > Jesse and Festus is again fine, not familiar with The Second City Saints, though Nice little Shelton interview their hipes up KOTR tournament MVP beating Umaga is fine, wouldn't mind him going on to win KOTR... Jericho interview is okay hypes up the KOTR match which is the purpose of these pre-PPV shows CM Punk and Bourne > Benjamin/Regal :/ I guess it was alright but meh I like the idea of Punk/Bourne teaming. US Title Match im glad Kendrick retained, I'm a fan of him and I don't like to see titles change hands on normal shows much Jericho and Orton > Jeff and 'Taker is pretty good, I like Jericho cheating to win with him being the heel heading into KOTR Orton RKO'ing Jericho should lead to something good, Taker then appearing nice Good Show, KOTR should be good too

Cute little opening segment to make the main event for KOTR and continue Shane/Edge. I like Orton storming into Vickie’s office. Nice win for the 2nd City Saints. I hope Festus doesn’t get released. Let him be the top face of Smackdown! :] Happy MVP went over Umaga although I wish Umaga was an unstoppable dominate force. Nice tag match to keep the action rolling, happy Punk and Bourne won. I loved The Hart Foundation segment. Very happy TBK retained his title. Very nice main event to close the show and continue us on the way to KOTR.
Festus was released :[

Raw 6/1/09 Preview-Raw's ending last week featured an impressive power display from John Cena. After the tag team main event, Cena laid out WWE Champion Kane with a steel chair. In fact, some officials reported that blood was left on the mat after the chair shot. If Cena can do just that at King of the Ring, he will in fact be the new WWE Champion. Tonight on Raw though, he will go one on one with John "Bradshaw" Layfield in our main event. Can Cena pick up momentum before King of the Ring or will JBL's Cabinet lead him to victory? -As announced last week, Triple H will go one on one with Batista at King of the Ring. Neither man will be in action this week, but they will be in the ring for a major contract signing just six days before two of Evolution's biggest names collide! -As stated, with the King of the Ring just six days away, Raw will host the first two second round matches. Raw's Evan Bourne will take on Smackdown's "Gold Standard" & reigning Money in the Bank holder, Shelton Benjamin. Also, Raw's MVP will take on Smackdown's John Morrison! Tune into USA Network tonight at 9:00PM for all this and much more!

June 1st, 2009 Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas [University of Texas] Attendance: 14,982
Raw opens with a video package highlighting last week’s events which ended with John Cena nailing WWE Champion Kane with a vicious chair shot and he stood tall over him to end the show.
Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to tonight’s big edition of Raw as we are just six days away from the big King of the Ring Pay-Per-View. A big main event has been signed tonight as John Cena will go one on one with the leader of the Cabinet, John “Bradshaw” Layfield! Plus, we will witness not one, but two King of the Ring second round matches, with the two winners advancing to this Sunday’s semi-finals.
King of the Ring Second Round Evan Bourne vs. Shelton Benjamin
Whoever’s idea it was to make this the opener should be applauded. These two really got the crowd pumped to kick off the show. Benjamin seemed to be in total control from the get go as he overpowered Bourne and was very vicious with his offense. He hit the Shell Bomb, a German suplex and a stiff back breaker. Through all of that though, Bourne hung around and managed to be in position to win at one point. After hitting the double knee drop off the top, he climbed to the top for the Shooting Star Press. Ted Dibiase Jr. began to slowly walk down the aisle with his Intercontinental Title. That distracted Bourne, which allowed Benjamin to run up to the top and deliver a super Paydirt for the win.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin (9:34) ****
Commercial Break.
Triple H comes to the ring as we return. The ring is set up with a table in the middle and the McMahons standing by. Batista follows to a huge ovation. Both men sign the contract after Mr. McMahon talks for a little while. Triple H then grabs the microphone. He begins to talk about 2005. He says that Batista was under his wing and his time was coming, but he rebeled against him and beat him at WrestleMania 21. Then Batista beat him again in two rematches. Everybody said that Batista was better than him. But after a year or two at the top, Batista has seemingly faded away. Triple H says that Batista hasn’t been World Champion since the end of 2007. Had he stayed under Triple H’s wing he could’ve had the staying power at the top like “The Game”. Because Triple H has been at the top of the WWE for a decade. Batista smirks at this remark and tells Triple H that it doesn’t matter what he says, because in his heart he knows that he’ll never beat “The Animal” Triple H hates that and tosses the table over and pushes Batista. Batista fires back and once again, these two need to be seperated by security.
Commercial Break.
Divas Tag Team Match Beth Phoenix & Katie Lea Burchill vs. Mickie James & Women’s Champion Victoria
This turned out to be your standard women’s tag match. It was kept rather short and after Beth dominated Mickie for a while, Victoria came in with the hot tag and took over. After a short while of this, Beth nailed her with the Glam Slam, right after Katie Lea blind tagged herself in. Following the Glam Slam, she ran in and got the pin on the Women’s Champion.
Winners: Beth Phoenix & Katie Lea Burchill (4:26) **
Beth looks on at Katie Lea and pushes her. They then begin to argue until the referee gets in between them.
In the back, we see JBL with The Cabinet. He gives them a pep talk telling Ryan Braddock that his win last week was good and that he can see him as a future Intercontinental Champion. He then focuses on Jayson Paul & Shad Gaspard and tells them that he can see future Tag Team Champions in them. Lastly, he turns to Candice Michelle and tells her that she makes sure the Cabinet looks good and that she could become a two time Women’s Champion with his guidance. He promises that big things are coming to The Cabinet.
Commercial Break.
We return to see a second promo hyping up the soon to debut Kaval. He spoke a few words in this one and his unusual voice seemed to have the crowd interested.
We then cut to Josh Matthews standing by with John Cena. Cena cuts his usual intense promo about how he proved last week that the man with the mask can bleed and how he’s going to do everything in his power to make it happen this Sunday.
King of the Ring Second Round John Morrison vs. Montel Vontavious Porter w/ Eve Torres
Just like tonight’s opening King of the Ring match, this was another potential show stealer. Morrison and MVP is a really fresh match and they went back and forth. Neither man held a clear advantage. Morrison hit his split legged moonsault and a springboard kick to the back of the head. MVP managed to not be put down for the count and hit his “Ballin” elbow and an overhead belly to belly suplex. The finish came after MVP elbowed his way out of the Moonlight Drive and then nailed the Playmaker.
Winner: Montel Vontavious Porter (8:57) ***½
Commercial Break.
We come back to see John Cena walking in the back, when he walks by Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard, who grill him. Cena stops and asks them why they decided to go with JBL. He asks them if they forgot about CTC and those good times. Jayson says that when they were acting like thugs, they never made it anywhere in their career. And now that they’ve changed their ways and they’re following in the footsteps of the great JBL, they can already smell Tag Team gold. They walk away after that leaving Cena looking disappointed.
Singles Match World Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas w/ Jamie Noble & Kelly Kelly vs. Joe Henning w/ Cody Rhodes & Intercontinental Champion Ted Dibiase Jr.
Henning really got to show what he was made of in this one as he hung tough with one of the top technical wrestlers in the WWE. Haas easily owned the mat wrestling portion at the start but Henning made one big counter to take over. Henning then had control, but it quickly became a back and forth battle. The end came after Cody Rhodes tried to distract the ref, but Noble pulled him off the apron. That allowed Haas to concentrate and put Henning away with a Haas of Pain back breaker variation.
Winner: Charlie Haas (6:24) **¾
The cameras cut to see the McMahons in the back. Vince is talking with Paul Bearer. Vince tells him to inform Kane that if he retains his WWE Title against John Cena this Sunday, he will have to defend it at Night of Champions is a Six Pack Challenge! Bearer doesn’t really look concerned about this as we head to commercial.
Commercial Break.
Singles Match John Cena vs. John “Bradshaw” Layfield w/ The Cabinet
In ring wise, this wasn’t the best of matches, a notch or two below their Royal Rumble encounter. It didn’t last very long, but during the match, we saw a lot of JBL nailing power moves. After that Cena made his big comeback and nailed the usual shoulder block, five knuckle shuffle etc. Cena hoisted up the leader of the Cabinet for the FU, but Candice got on the apron and distracted the referee with her sex appeal, allowing Paul & Gaspard to enter and attack Cena. They nailed him with their double team finisher and JBL went for the cover. Just then, fire shot out of the turnbuckles and out came Kane to the ring. He got in the ring and delivered a choke slam to JBL to everyone’s surprise. Paul and Gaspard ran into big boots, while Braddock took a Tombstone. The crowd was wondering what had just happened. Cena got up and Kane turned around and nailed him with a big boot.
No Contest (8:06) **
Kane tossed Cena over the top and grabbed a steel chair. He leveled Cena with two shots, busting him wide open. The announcers put over how it took Kane just two shots to bust open Cena, while it took Cena three last week.

Shelton over Bourne is cool. Mixed on whether or not I want him to win KOTR. Good HHH/Batista segment, it got the point across. Divas tag match was fine, hopefully Victoria doesn't hold onto the belt for too long. MVP over Morrison is good; MVP would make for a good KOTR. Surprised, but glad that Haas won his match. Ending to the main event was fine, Cena/Kane has been a great feud thus far.

I love that Shelton defeated Evan Bourne to advance in the tournament. I would love for Shelton to win the King of the Ring to get a serious push, as long as he doesn’t pick up a king gimmick. King Shelton would flop because of his lack of charisma.
I like the Triple H/Batista segment. I enjoy that you bring up their past and them needing to get broken up by security adds intensity to the feud.
The divas match did little for me, although I like that Beth and Katie won. I would love for Katie and Victoria to rip apart the divas division with a feud over the title.
Nice cabinet segment. I would love for them to take over Raw by winning all the titles. They could be such a dominate stable if pushed right and I hope you push them right.
Kaval can be a beast and I hope you push him that way.
I like MVP going over Morison and advancing, although both men are extremely talented and deserving of pushes.
Nice win for Charlie Haas to continue his rivalry, I assume, with Legacy.
Nice main event. I like Kane coming and dominating everyone, I am a sucker for dominate monster characters; however, I don’t like the cabinet looking weak. It is a double edged sword I guess.
Overall, another great show.

Shelton over Bourne is good but I really don't want him to win KOTR as he is already Mr Money in the Bank.
The contract signing was ok. I hate to point out this but: ''Triple H says that Batista hasn’t been World Champion since the end of 2007'' However before this diary Batista beat Chris Jericho at Cyber Sunday. No big Deal.
Divas match seemed like a filler and just to get the Divas a match. Not alot going on there.
Nice bit with the Cabinet, Don't think Braddock is good enough IMO. But its your diary.
MVP vs John Morrison was a great match. Would have Rather Morrison gone over, because hes probably my favourite superstar at the moment. Wouldnt mind MVP winning it all though.
Good win for Haas over Hennig. Legacy vs The Technichans at a future PPV? probably NOC.
Main Event was good although Ive never been a fan of JBL vs Cena without it being a gimmick match of some sort. Like the ending. Make the champion look dominant.
Great Show. Pleeeeeeeease get Morrison a Title. lol.

Decent opening contest to start off RAW in an incredible way, great quarter-final match to kick off the show, Shelton Benjamin beating Evan Bourne is probably best, considering that Benjamin needs this win more than Evan. Decent promo with Batista and Triple H, really continues with their intense feud, I must say. The divas tag team match was...the divas tag team match. I am liking the tension between Katie-Lea Burchill and Beth Phoenix, a feud between those two would be insane, if you went out of the realism and started shooting for the greatest divas feud since Trish Stratus vs Mickie James? Great King of the Ring quarter-final match between Montel Vontavious Porter and John Morrison, seemed more of a decent match. Fair singles match to resume the feud with the World Tag Team Championships. That feud hasn't been anything too special, if I'm honest. Wow, I am liking the idea of a six-pack challenge match for Night of Champions, just, it sort of shows that Kane will beat John Cena in my eyes. Nothing too good for a main event, got the Cabinet involved with something, though.

ECW 6/2/09 Preview -Last week on ECW, Tommy Dreamer and Matt Hardy challenged Tyler Black and Hade Vansen to an Extreme Rules Tag Team match. General Manager Theodore Long has slightly tweaked the match. It will now be a Judgment Day rematch as Rey Mysterio will join Dreamer and Hardy to face all three Brood members, but this time, it will be Extreme Rules!!
-Also last week, number one contender Mr. Kennedy laid out ECW Champion Elijah Burke and finally gained the upper hand in this rivalry of theirs. Tonight on ECW, Burke will not be in attendance but we will hear from Kennedy. What will ECW's resident loudmouth have to say?
-Plus, we will witness some Quarterfinal King of the Ring action tonight. The reigning 2008 King of the Ring winner, William Regal will take on CM Punk in a rematch of last year's KOTR finals. Can these two put on a classic like their Intercontinental Title match back at Royal Rumble? Will Punk's return to ECW be successful? Or will we see an '08 repeat?Tune into Sci-Fi at 9:00PM tonight for all these answers!

June 2nd, 2009 Alltel Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas Attendance: 16,100
Tonight’s broadcast opened with a video package. This highlighted last week’s main event in which Mr. Kennedy defeated Kevin Thorn by disqualification and the after math led to a brawl between The Brood, Tommy Dreamer, Matt Hardy & Rey Mysterio. On the side of all of that, Mr. Kennedy successfully laid out the ECW Champion, Elijah Burke with the Mic Check.
Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcome us to tonight’s edition of ECW, and they hype up tonight’s main event. What was supposed to be Tommy Dreamer & Matt Hardy against Tyler Black & Hade Vansen, has been turned into a six man tag rematch from Judgment Day, where all three members of The Brood will take on Dreamer, Hardy & Rey Mysterio but this time, in Extreme Rules! They also mention that Mr. Kennedy is in the building, but Elijah Burke is not.
Tag Team Match Dolph Ziggler & Television Champion Jack Swagger vs. Gavin Spears & Finlay w/ Hornswoggle
Surprising to see Ziggler getting TV time, but rumor has it that he’s been improving rapidly. Turns out, it’s true as he really did well in this one and showed his talent. But of course, the main cog to this match was the interaction between Swagger and the number one contender to his Championship, Gavin Spears. Despite Swagger’s height & strength advantage, Spears showed how good he is as he worked on the Champ’s leg. He eventually locked in the Sharpshooter but Ziggler broke it up. That led to Swagger nailing him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb and picking up the victory.
Winners: Television Champion Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler (6:15) **½
In the back, we see Mr. Kennedy and it looks like he’s on his way to the ring!
Commercial Break.
We return to see Theodore Long in his office talking with Gavin Spears. Spears tells him that he wants his Television Title shot in four weeks as Night of Champions. Teddy likes the idea and tells Spears to give him a week to think about it. Meanwhile, Tiffany tells him that he could use the help of a manager possibly and that she’d be willing to help him with that. He seems very interested and they leave together.
“KENNEDYYYY…” Mr. Kennedy’s theme music hits as the verbally gifted superstar makes his way to the ring. He gets in the ring and cuts a promo, much like his old ones, with the arena in darkness and the spotlight on him. He talks about how he defeated multiple former World Champions, how he himself is a former United States Champion and Money in the Bank winner and how he should be the current ECW Champion. He admits that it’ his own fault that he lost at Judgment Day, but he will right the ship at King of the Ring this Sunday and become the new ECW Champion.
Commercial Break.
Ezekiel Jackson is shown in a room. He cuts a decent promo about how Tony Atlas’ idea of a team with himself and Mark Henry was just a plot to get Henry back in the spotlight. Jackson says that it’s his time in the spotlight and after everything with The Brian Kendrick, he knows better than to take a back seat to someone.
Next, we see Hurricane Helms cutting a backstage promo about how he’s been beaten down by several big superstars lately. He mentions that this wasn’t happening before and that something has to change. This all led to him asking the big question, “Whatsupwitdat?” He ended by saying that maybe some things must change.
The cameras cut to CM Punk, who is in the back. He cuts a promo about how, before he was an Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion, Money in the Bank winner or World Heavyweight Champion, he was ECW Champion. He mentions that ECW is where he got his start and that he plans on making tonight a memorable return.
Commercial Break.
King of the Ring Quarterfinals CM Punk vs. William Regal w/ Layla
These two put on an instant classic and match of the year candidate back at this year’s Royal Rumble. While this match didn’t quite get the twenty minutes that one got, it was still very good. They went back and forth and traded stiff shots and for a while, Regal had the upper hand. That all went downhill for him though once Punk hit his springboard clothesline and he eventually put the match away with the GTS.
Winner: CM Punk (9:26) ***½
Commercial Break.
Extreme Rules Six Man Tag Match The Brood w/ Gangrel vs. Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio & Tommy Dreamer
Their match back at Judgment Day was rather good, but this one was slightly better. They got to showcase their hatred for one another when the weapons were brought in. Dreamer used a steel chain and Matt was nailing The Brood with a steel chair. This was filled with spots, especially when Black delivered his turnbuckle powerbomb to Mysterio through a table. He went for the cover but Dreamer broke it up. The finish came when Dreamer nailed Vansen with a DDT, only to have Black nail him with Gangrel’s cup in the back of the head. Black turned around into a Twist of Fate onto a steel chair though and that ended it.
Winners: Tommy Dreamer, Matt Hardy & Rey Mysterio (10:23) ***½
ECW finally stood tall over The Brood, for one night at least, as the show ended. Thorn looked to be very upset with Tyler Black as well.

Solid opening match, always like seeing Swagger rack up victories. Heh, now it's funny seeing Kennedy wrestle in diaries. Nice Zeke promo, at least it's an attempt to give him some personality. Punk over Regal is fine, their matches were boring in my opinion but it's all good. Solid main event, surprised but glad the faces won.

Good opening contest and the better wrestlers definitely won. I like Spears getting a title shot. I like the Kennedy promo. I like the Jackson promo to give explanation for him turning on Henry and Atlas. I like the Punk promo and I am very happy he went over. Great main event and the faces winning makes sense. Overall, a pretty good show.

You have some awesome graphics. On to rate/review the ECW show. I liked how you showed recaps of last show where Kennedy gave Burke the Mic Check. Glad Swagger and Ziggler got the victory over Gavin Spears and Hornswoggle. Loved the end of that match, though. Great choice of results. Awesome Kennedy promo. I quite enjoyed it. I like how he talks about the former Champions he has beaten. Spices Kennedy up more. Decent promo with CM Punk. Awesome to see CM Punk qualify into the King of the Ring tournament beating William Regal. I was pulling for the Brood to win. Awesome 6 Man tag match. I am disappointed in the results, but it was an awesome match-up. The ending segment was pretty weird. Overall decent show. I wouldn't say the best, but I wouldn't say the worst either.

ECW was pretty solid. Not too sure on the team of Swagger and Ziggler, but eh, I guess it'd be okay. Very well written stuff there for the Kennedy promo, love it. Like the promo with Punk there, you're spot on with your promos right now. Glad Punk advanced in the KOTR quarterfinals. Awesome Six man tag Extreme rules Main Event, glad the faces got the win in that one, likes the finish of the match as well with the TOF onto the chair. Good stuff kevs, cant wait for KOTR.

Smackdown 6/5/09 Preview
-Vickie Guerrero and Shane McMahon made the major announcement last week that Randy Orton would be defending his World Championship aginst The Undertaker and Chris Jericho at King of the Ring. Just two nights before that big match, Jericho will be facing Jeff Hardy in singles action and we will hear from Orton. Can Jericho gain some momentum before KOTR?
-Edge and Shane McMahon have been at each other's throats since back in April. In two nights, it all comes to an end in what should be a brutal I Quit match. Tonight on Smackdown, Edge has promised to give us a preview of their I Quit match. What could Edge possibly be talking about?
-Also, tonight marks the final King of the Ring Quarterfinal match as ECW's Jack Swagger will take on ECW's Rey Mysterio. Can Swagger continue to run through the WWE? Or will Mysterio's return to Smackdown be a successful one?
Find out all of this and more by tuning into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!
