-Big Show's promo was odd, but realistic and I can see where he's coming from in this promo. -The Miz winning on his home turf was expected, so this one isn't bad. -Tyler Black over Goldust was cool, nice to see Black's push. -A great match, between two guys, who I think are both heels. But oh well, Benjamin winning was good. -I'm hoping the SBPB end up facing Hart Dynasty for the Unified Tag Team Championships. -Show winning was good. The DQ finish was the best way to go as it makes them both look strong. -Solid show.

SmackDown, interesting way to open up. Looking forward to the Main Event and I hope Big Show wins. Loved The Miz advancing in King of the Ring, I'd love to see him win it. Mr. Kennedy really isn't anything special anymore since leaving ECW. Tyler Black going over is good, and then defending Goldust makes it better. Shelton Benjamin over the United States Champion, Jack Swagger is huge. I LOVE what you did in the segment, really brings out Randy's psychotic side. Love this feud. A good victory for the South Beach Party Boys, putting them in line for a WWE Tag Team Championship shot I imagine. Miz/Cody team? Yes, please. A good victory for April Lee and Natalya, and the ending was interesting. A heel Gail Kim is something I can't imagine in the current day, yet it seems to fit. A disqualification finish was probably the best way to go about this, and it was the right decision to have Jeff Hardy fend them all off. However, I hope that very soon the Straight Edge Society deliver a vicious beat-down to Hardy. Not for any reason, I just don't like him, haha. A good show, as usual.

6/2/10 Edition -The WWE has inked three big deals as of today. The biggest is the signing of Mexican Superstar, Mistico. The WWE plans on bringing him in around the later Summer or early Fall. -Another signing is of independent female standout, Tenille Tayla. Tenille was trained by former WWE, ECW & WCW Superstar Lance Storm. She can be seen here. -The final signing was of another standout independent female worker. Straight out of Australia, WWE has signed the lovely Jessie McKay. She was trained by current SHIMMER Champion, Madison Eagles and can be seen here.

SD: - Interesting to see Big Show getting involved in the feud with Jeff Hardy, but good to see the big guy back, I for one still think he's entertaining and I really hope to see big things from him. - I'm a fan of both Kennedy and Miz but I'm pulling for Miz to win the KOTR, the guy screams main event heel nowadays and winning the tournament would definitely propel him up the card. - Having Stephanie give up the GM spot was the right move but I really think you missed an opportunity by having her just give up the position. You should have turned it into a storyline to build some mega heel heat for Vickie. - I didn't like having Tyler Black face Goldust and the only way I see it working is if your using this to phase Goldust out of the feud in favor of Black. - Shelton vs. Swagger actually has dream match possibilities what with their similar styles and I can really see them putting on a solid wrestling match. Good to see Benjamin getting the win. Orton's segment was well done, he should always have the psychological edge. - Hated that you had the South Beach Party Boys goes over. Their just not a legitimate threat and I hated seeing them go over, the Dudebusters deserve better challengers. - The Cody/ Miz segment was interesting and a tag match is obviously building from this. - Having April Lee get the submission win is huge for her. Really liked the Gail Kim segment after, I always preferred her as a heel. - Solid main event, the DQ finish makes a lot of sense to keep this feud hot and to keep both men looking strong. It's rare that I enjoy a Jeff Hardy feud in a diary but this one has me intrigued, keep up the good work.

June 7th, 2010 | American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida
Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome everyone to a sold-out edition of Monday Night Raw, emanating live from beautiful Miami, Florida! They hype up tonight’s show which features a First Round King of the Ring Tournament match, a four corner tag team match and Alberto Del Rio will team with Sheamus to take on Kofi Kingston and MVP!
John Cena’s theme hits as one of the number one contenders for the WWE Championship comes down to the ring and he’s walking with a purpose. He enters the ring and is handed a microphone. He says that last week, he came down to ringside to scout his two opponents for King of the Ring and witnessed a damn good match. After it though, he offered a handshake to Edge, who claims to be a changed man. Instead of a handshake though, he was on the receiving end of an Edgecution. Now, in his opinion, that’s the same old Edge that he’s known for years. He calls Edge out right now, to which the WWE Champion obliges. Edge gets into the ring and right in Cena’s face. He tells Cena that he has truly changed, as he respects a guy like Cena now. But he’ll never like him, and he’ll never change his opportunistic ways. Last week, he saw an opportunity to do damage to an opponent and someone he dislikes so he obviously did something about it. Cena tells him that he could’ve just challenged him to a match, which ironically, is what Cena wants with Edge tonight. JBL appears on the titantron and says that he likes the idea of Edge and Cena in a non-title main event tonight, but he wants to make it clear that Cena can’t just come out here and issue challenges. JBL is the GM and his word is final. Edge rushes at Cena, attempting a Spear, but Cena dodges it. Edge stops himself before hitting the turnbuckle, turns and stares down Cena with a smile. Cena mouths, “so that’s how it’s gonna be?” Edge nods as we cut to commercial.

Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match |

The Airbourne Angels vs. Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. The Jung Dragons w/ Jamie Noble vs. The Usos

Raw’s top our tag teams went at it in this exciting contest. The WWE World Tag Team Champions, The Dudebusters, were on commentary during this bout. We got a lot of high flying action in this one, even some from the Usos, who continue to impress. Yoshi Tatsu connected with a huge kick to Paul London’s head for a near fall at one point, while Jimmy Uso got one after a big Samoan Drop on Jimmy Yang. In the end, a 450 Splash onto Yang led the Airbourne Angels to victory!

Winners: The Airbourne Angels [7:26] **¾

After the match, The Dudebusters continued to berate and put down Evan Bourne and Justin Angel, hinting at a possible feud between the teams in the future.Commercial BreakJosh Matthews is standing by backstage with Mr. Kennedy, who suffered a tough loss on Smackdown in the King of the Ring Tournament. He asks Kennedy about that and his match with Carlito tonight. Kennedy says that losing in the King of the Ring Tournament was tough, as was losing to Sheamus last week on Raw. But his real problem started two weeks ago when he was supposed to face Carlito but was intercepted by an assault at the hands of Randy Orton. So tonight, he will get his match with Carlito, but he promises to be at Smackdown this Friday and he challenges Randy Orton to a match!Maryse vs. Tiffany | The former Divas Champion, Maryse, made it perfectly clear last week that she wanted her rematch at Michelle McCool. She underestimated Tiffany, who has been impressive in the ring since her return to the WWE. Maryse toyed around with her and decided to taunt when she should’ve made a cover. She went to grab Tiffany, only to be pulled into a small package, giving Tiffany the upset! | Winner: Tiffany [4:11] *½ |
Tiffany celebrated up the ramp while Maryse looked on in total shock. Unfortunately, Tiffany turned right into a huge big boot from the Divas Champion, Michelle McCool! Layla was right by her side as McCool began to speak on the microphone. She tells Maryse that she doesn’t deserve a Title shot because she just lost, Tiffany doesn’t deserve a shot because she just got taken out, and Mickie James doesn’t deserve a shot simply because she’s Mickie James. Michelle says that the only deserving Diva besides herself is Layla. Layla agrees and says that they should be co-Champions or something like that. They laugh and McCool says that her & Layla will be the only worthy Champions because they, unlike the rest of the locker room, are flawless.Commercial BreakWe return and are joined by Raw’s fastest rising star, Alberto Del Rio. He comes out in his usual fancy car and extravagant fireworks show is on display. He gets in the ring and says that last week, MVP screwed him out of the King of the Ring Tournament. He claims that MVP was worried that he would far surpass MVP’s reign as King and go on to become a bigger star than he ever was. Del Rio says that unfortunately for MVP, he will still go on to become the biggest star in the WWE. Even more unfortunate for MVP is that on his path to the top, he will now make an example out of MVP when he drives him out of the WWE at King of the Ring. Alberto Del Rio & Sheamus vs. Kofi Kingston & MVP |

The match between Del Rio and MVP at King of the Ring promises to be a good one based off of their in-ring interactions tonight. They mesh well together and put together some really good moments. It was announced during this contest that next week, Sheamus and Kofi Kingston will meet in the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring Tournament. Kofi and MVP win this round after pinning Sheamus following a two hit combo of Trouble in Paradise and the Drive-By!

Winners: Kofi Kingston & MVP [9:13] **¾

Commercial BreakKing of the Ring First Round |

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyler Black

Talk about a show stealing match. Two of the WWE’s brightest young stars put on the best match of the night and possibly, the entire Tournament. The crowd was excited and they were given a great amount of time. Ziggler worked the mat to start the match, but Black managed to hold his own. He then took to the air, giving the crowd a show. Ziggler locked in the Sleeper Hold and Black began to fade. He managed to survive and hit Paroxsym for a near fall. He also hit God’s Last Gift for a shocking near fall! Black climbed to the top and went for the Phoenix Splash, but Ziggler moved out of the way. Once Black got up, Ziggler hit him with the Zig Zag to win.

Winner: Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler [11:27] ****¼

Elijah Burke comes out to the stage once the match ends. He tells Dolph Ziggler that he will be in the final First Round match of the King of the Ring Tournament, this Friday night on Smackdown. If he wins, he will be facing Ziggler in the second round, which he’ll love. But what he wants just as much is his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship! Before Ziggler can answer, John “Bradshaw” Layfield joins us on the stage. He tells Dolph Ziggler that he is a big fan, and he has never really liked Elijah Burke, but he does have a point. Burke is guaranteed a rematch and he can have it next week on Raw! Commercial BreakCarlito vs. Mr. Kennedy | Both of these men need to get on the winning track since their move from ECW, so this was a must-win situation for both. They put on a good, solid match despite only getting a short amount of time. Carlito nearly had the win when he attempted the Back Stabber, but Kennedy held onto the ropes. He then drilled Carlito with the Mic Check to get the 1-2-3. | Winner: Mr. Kennedy [6:05] **½ |
Mr. Kennedy now has some much needed momentum heading into his big match with Randy Orton this Friday night on Smackdown!
Chris Jericho is now shown talking with Alberto Del Rio, as they seem to have become close friends over the past few weeks. Jericho tells him that despite his rough loss tonight, things are going to come together for them very soon. Del Rio says he knows and that it will start when he runs MVP out of the WWE. Jericho tells him to call the others, before walking off.
We now see Edge heading towards the arena as our non-title main event is coming up next!Commercial BreakNon-Title Match | WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena | Just like last week, this preview of the King of the Ring Triple Threat match proved to be very good. Edge and Cena have faced off many times in the past so they clearly had good chemistry. Jericho provided some excellent commentary during the main event, but of course, he decided to get involved. Cena and Edge had both fought tooth and nail when Cena hoisted Edge up for the FU. Jericho rushed into the ring and chop blocked him. | Winner via Disqualification: John Cena [9:18] *** |
Jericho stomped on Cena as the crowd booed heavily. Edge got up behind him and the crowd began to cheer, hoping Edge would help Cena. Jericho turned towards him, right into a huge Spear! The crowd went nuts but then Edge began to stalk Cena for the Spear. Cena got up and dodged it, just like earlier tonight. Edge hit the turnbuckle, turned around and was met with an FU to close the broadcast. © WWE 2010

-A great promo to open the show, very interesting, and I'm looking forward to the main event. -Air Bourne Angels make a cool new team here, and it's nice to see the tag division strong. -Hyped for the Loser Leaves RAW Match, and this was solid hype for it, glad MVP won here. -Ziggler over Black in the first round shocks me, as your the biggest Tyler Black fan I know. -Cena over Edge was good, especially to show the unpredictability, still Cena can definitely be ruled out of the WWE Championship Match but this was a great main event. -Good show.

WWE RAW: Monday 7th June 2010...John Cena in the ring first was alright, Edge interrupting is alright I suppose, just extremely bored of Cena and Edge's matches. Too many of them. Weak opening contest to kick off the show, but the fact it was a four-way tag team match probably made it watchable. Justin Gabriel and Evan Bourne winning was alright, gets them out of recurring matches with the Jung Dragons. These four teams should be on SmackDown honestly. Tiffany beating Maryse is alright, no big deal. Kofi Kingston and MVP beating Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio was a good match, as you made obvious in the last news report though, MVP won't be winning at King of the Ring. Solid first round match between Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Black, best idea for Ziggler to win though, but it was close. Hope to see Ziggler main event by 2011. Mr Kennedy beating Carlito is acceptable. And lastly, alright match between Edge and John Cena I suppose, just mere build for King of the Ring. A decent episode.

Raw, good opening segment and John Cena versus Edge should be good for later tonight. Great Four-Corners Tag Team Match to kick off Raw, and a good victory for The Airbourne Angels. A feud between them and The Dudebusters would be excellent. Mr. Kennedy versus Randy Orton on SmackDown? Sounds good to me. Shocked to see Tiffany go over here, but makes sense to have Michelle McCool take her out afterwards. I see you're going to go for the Co-Divas Champions approach. Kofi Kingston and MVP getting the victory is for the best. Pleased to see Dolph Ziggler advance in the King of the Ring Tournament, and a rematch with Elijah Burke next week should be good. Obvious victory for Mr. Kennedy, giving him momentum going onto SmackDown this Friday. A disqualification finish kept everyone good for King of the Ring, and John Cena closing the show makes you wonder, but I do hope to see Edge retain at the Pay-Per-View, with Cena getting the title later on down the line. Overall, a good show.

The opening was a little odd for me. Edge's character seems to be all over the place. Either he respects Cena or he's opportunistic and manic. Personally, I prefer the latter. The main event should be epic.
Great opening contest, seems very chaotic! The Jung Dragons? Hate that you've rehashed that gimmick. Great win for Bourne and Angel. A possible feud between them and the Dudebusters would be cool.
Tiffany vs. Maryse doesn't sound too good. The upset doesn't serve much purpose other than to be included in LayCool's promo. Co-Champions would probably be best right now.
Big tag team match. Happy to see MVP and Kofi go over.
Ziggler over Black was probably for best. Sounded like an incredible match, though possibly a little too long for TV. Rematch between Burke/Ziggler should be fantastic.
Nice little TV match for Carlito and Kennedy following their move to RAW. Would liked to have seen Carlito go over but Kennedy was probably the right decision.
Jericho causing the DQ was cool, and keeps him relevant in Edge and Cena's banter tonight. Obvious he would take a Spear. The ending was a great way to replicate what happened at the start of the show. Nice story building there.
A decent show, overall. Nice work, dude.

June 8th, 2010 | St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida
Right after the opening fireworks shoot off, ECW starts with a bang when we are taken immediately to Aksana, who introduces Abraham Washington. He comes out to the stage, pumping his fist as usual. He says that the best part of ECW is happening right now and calls his show the most talked about talk show in WWE history. The tradition of must see TV on the Abraham Washington Show continues tonight because his guest is somebody that everyone has been talking about over the past week and that man is Drew McIntyre! McIntyre comes to the stage in slacks and a button down shirt. Washington gets right into the important question, asking McIntyre what his personal vendetta with Bryan Danielson is. McIntyre says that he’s mentioned before that he hated how the WWE Universe only wanted to talk about Danielson when he came to ECW. His mission after hearing these things was to personally take out Danielson and show the entire world that he is the brightest star on ECW. He promises that not only will he become the first Scottish ECW Champion, but his ultimate goal is to become the first Scottish WWE Champion. Suddenly, we hear Bryan Danielson’s voice and the former independent standout appears on the titantron. He’s at home recovering but he promises to be back on ECW next week to take on Jack Swagger in the King of the Ring Quarter-Finals. Once he’s done with Swagger though, he’s coming for McIntyre. Never in his life has he felt hatred like what he has for Drew. His whole life has been devoted to professional wrestling and to have someone blatantly try to take that away from you, changes you. Before he leaves the screen he promises that Drew McIntyre hasn’t seen anything from him yet. McIntyre smirks up at the titanron before heading to the back.
Commercial Break
Kaval vs. Zack Ryder w/ Courtney | During his run as Television Champion, Zack Ryder showed some great in-ring improvement and it showed in this contest. He has surprisingly good chemistry with Kaval and the “World Warrior” continues to try moving up the ranks on ECW. They went back and forth for the most part, although Ryder got a near fall when he connected with the Rough Ryder. Kaval eventually climbed to the top for the Warrior’s Way, but Paul Burchill rushed to the ring and knocked him off the top rope. Ryder picked him up and hit the Zack Attack to gain victory. | Winner: Winner: Zack Ryder [8:42] **½ |
After the match, as Zack Ryder celebrated up the ramp, Burchill entered the ring. He took the fallen Kaval and drilled him with a vicious Curb Stomp!
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is standing by with Wade Barrett, who will be in tonight’s main event to determine the number one contender for the ECW Championship. She asks him for his feelings heading to the biggest match of his young career. Barrett says that he feels no pressure. He plans for his entire career to be full of big matches and he’ll never be nervous because he’s born for moments like this.
Alex Riley & Chris Masters vs. The Hurricane & Television Champion Joe Hennig | Alex Riley impressed in his debut match, although he got about equal in-ring time with his partner, Chris Masters. They worked well as a unit as they cut the ring in half and really worked over The Hurricane. After a while, he managed to make the tag to his partner, as the Television Champion entered like a house on fire. He lit up both Riley and Masters before setting up the Hennig-Plex. Masters leveled him in the back, which allowed Riley to pull him into a small package for the win. | Winners: Alex Riley & Chris Masters [6:16] ** |
We are now taken to Josh Matthews, who is standing by with the other member of tonight’s main event, John Morrison. He asks John about his strategy heading into tonight match. Morrison says that he’s going to come at Barrett the same way he went at Ezekiel Jackson at Extreme Rules, and that’s full throttle. He was “this close” to winning the ECW Title a few weeks back and he knows that with just one more chance, he’ll capture it.
Commercial Break We return and are taken to the home of General Manager Theodore Long. He tells the viewers at home that this has been a tough time for himself and his family and he is furious about what Wade Barrett did to him. He honestly does not know if he’ll be returning to ECW when his health improves. He does not want to be anywhere near someone like Barrett and although he never likes to play favorite, he hopes to god that John Morrison defeats him tonight.
Ezekiel Jackson’s theme hits when we return to the arena. The ECW Champion comes out in street clothes and sits at the announce table. John Morrison’s theme hits as he comes down to the ring. We cut to commercial before Wade Barrett joins us as well.Commercial Break Number One Contender’s Match |

John Morrison vs. Wade Barrett

If Morrison is the measuring stick for the main event level in ECW, then Wade Barrett proved that he belonged. They managed to put on a very good match that featured numerous near falls and had the crowd gasping. Morrison missed his breathtaking Starship Pain, which helped Barrett pick up a near fall. Morrison got one after nailing the Moonlight Drive. Both men were weary near the end as they exchanged right hands. Morrison got the best of the battle when he ducked a punch and hit a spinning heel kick. He followed that by nailing the Shining Wizard and finished the flurry with the Starship Pain to become number one contender.

Winner: John Morrison [12:21] ***¼

John Morrison stared down at Ezekiel Jackson after the match. Jackson got up from the announce table and raised his title high in the air. The announcers put over the rematch for the ECW Title that we’ll be seeing at King of the Ring!© WWE 2010

ECW
Simple yet effective way to kick off ECW with a promo to continue the Drew/Bryan feud, nice job. Good win for Ryder to kick off, Paul/Kaval feud is interesting. I'm glad that you have Paul sticking around, such a great talent that man is. Alex debuting in a tag match is something I dislike, a lot. Although his team winning was the best move. Morrison winning was for the best, and interesting rematch for KOTR. Solid edition of ECW, with good build to multiple feuds.

-Good start to the show here, interesting to see McIntyre/Swagger should be fine. -Ryder over Burchill is great. I always love Ryder pushes. -Masters and Riley winning is fine. I decent tag team match here to promote the mid-card of ECW is always fine. -Morrison becoming #1 Contender again is great, but this time I hope he wins the ECW Championship. -Solid show.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 8th June 2010...Nice episode of the Abraham Washington Show to kick off ECW this week with Drew McIntyre and his intention to be the first Scottish ECW Champion. Liked the Bryan Danielson involvement. Zack Ryder beating Kaval is acceptable I suppose, good opening contest. Alex Riley and Chris Masters against The Hurricane and Joe Hennig would have been a better opening contest to me though. Riley and Masters winning is fair play. Wow, expected another match on this episode of ECW. There's nothing much happening this week on ECW. John Morrison beating Wade Barrett is fine, a solid contenders main event but expected Morrison to win. Hoping that Zeke retains the ECW Championship at King of the Ring. Not a bad episode, but short though.

-Nice way to open the show with Danielson/McIntyre feud. Swagger and Danielson match should be nice as well. -Ryder going over there is solid. Burchill laying him out there advances their feud and I am looking forward to it. -Riley and Masters going over is nice. Looking forward to Riley being on ECW. -Morrison going over there was expected. Him/Zeke again should be good. Overall, good ECW.

ECW, good Abraham Washington Show to open up. I love this feud between Drew McIntyre and Bryan Danielson. Surprised to see Zack Ryder go over Kaval, but with the interference of Paul Burchill, it makes sense. Again, another surprising victory for me, with Alex Riley and Chris Masters going over. John Morrison winning was obvious here as Ezekiel Jackson versus Wade Barrett wouldn't have been good. Overall a decent show.

I spent God knows how long putting together some KOTR match graphics for you and you didn't use them. I could understand if you said to me 'I don't like them, I'll go with something else', but you approved the template I sent to you for the graphics and you let me go on to make more. You know what, Kev? Just don't bother asking for graphics from me again.

June 11th, 2010 | St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida
A great round of fireworks opens this Friday’s broadcast, followed by our announce team welcoming us to the show. They hype tonight’s main event which will be a handicap match. On one side will be the Straight Edge Society of World Champion CM Punk, Drew Gallows & Joey Matthews, while on the other side will be Jeff Hardy and the Big Show!
Mr. Kennedy vs. Randy Orton | After Orton punted Kennedy in the skull a few weeks back on Raw, Kennedy made this challenge this past Monday. Orton seemed more vicious than his usual self, most likely due to gearing up for Shelton Benjamin and the King of the Ring. Kennedy managed to get in some good offense though, but ultimately, he would come up short. Orton dropped him with the RKO to pick up the win. | Winner: Randy Orton [8:09] **½ |
Immediately following the match, Shelton Benjamin’s theme hits as the former World Heavyweight Champion rushes to the ring and wails away on Orton. He sends him over the top and to the outside to the crowd’s delight. Benjamin follows, but Orton quickly scurries out through the crowd. Benjamin stands on the guardrail daring him to come back. Orton is livid as he stands in the crowd.
Commercial Break
We return to see Vickie Guerrero standing in the middle of the ring. She says that she doesn’t know who Stephanie McMahon is going to choose to take her place as Co-General Manager and for now, she doesn’t care. For now, the entire brand of Smackdown belongs solely to her. She gets to make all of the decisions and it’s quite clear when you look at tonight’s main event. For longer than she likes to remember, Jeff Hardy has been a huge thorn in her side. So in her first official night as the sole GM of Smackdown, Jeff has been placed in a handicap match. She guarantees to rule with an iron fist and prove that Smackdown is her world. She lastly informs us that we haven’t seen anything yet.

Just like last week, they put up a very good effort. Unlike last week though, The Dudebusters were in better form as they showed off their full arsenal. They would go on to retain the gold after nailing the Dudebuster on Percy Watson.

Winners and Still WWE World Tag Team Champions: The Dudebusters [7:00] **¼

We cut to the back where we see Cody Rhodes and The Miz walking towards the arena. Their tag team match comes up next!Commercial BreakJosh Matthews is standing by with “Captain Charisma”, Christian. He asks Christian about being in the final First Round King of the Ring match tonight. Christian says that his personal goal for this month is to win the King of the Ring and earn a World Heavyweight Title shot at SummerSlam. He’s made it well known that the World Title has eluded him throughout his career and that will come to an end in 2011.Cody Rhodes and The Miz make their way down to the ring separately, and Rhodes grabs a microphone. He begins by saying that he and The Miz are not a new tag team in the WWE. They both held Tag Team gold in 2010 but 2011 is their year to become singles stars. Cody says that he has personal business to attend to. He is the “Prince of Pro Wrestling” and everyone should respect that, but they can’t. The reason they can’t is because his brother is a complete joke. He makes the Rhodes’ name look bad and he can’t have that holding him down. He promises to end his brother, because it’s his birth right to be the best this business has to offer. The Miz now takes over the promo and says that he & Cody have different plans but they got intertwined last week when Tyler Black stuck his nose in Cody’s business. Black has been an itch that he can’t seem to scratch or weeks, so when he got involved in the Rhodes’ problems, he saw an opportunity. Tonight, he & Cody will defeat Black and Goldust, and prove to them just how serious they are. He claims that they are not the future of this business…they are the present. Commercial BreakCody Rhodes & The Miz vs. Goldust & Tyler Black |

Our first hour main event turned out to be a potential show stealer. The tag team of Miz and Rhodes worked very well together, clearly showing their previous experience as multi-time Tag Team Champions. They cut the ring in half and used quick tags to work over Goldust. Rhodes was especially aggressive on his brother, but that cost him as Goldust dodged a shot from him and tagged in Black. Black came in and cleaned house until a chop block from The Miz took him down. Rhodes then connected with the Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & The Miz [9:41] ***¼

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker take us to the current King of the Ring bracket, showing the upcoming Quarter-Final matches, which start this Monday. The Miz will take on Joe Hennig, while Jack Swagger goes one on one with Bryan Danielson. The winners of those matches will meet at the King of the Ring Pay-Per-View. Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler will take on the winner of our next match, and whoever wins that match will face the winner of Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus at King of the Ring!Commercial BreakAshley Valance is backstage with April Lee. She asks her for her opinion on Gail Kim’s actions as of late. Lee says that she’s very upset with what Gail Kim has become. She was one of her idols and had a great deal of respect for her. She says that she never wanted to take Gail’s spot on the Divas roster, she loved teaming with her. She turns serious and says that if that’s the way Gail wants things, she’ll be glad to face her one on one, next week!King of the Ring First Round |

Christian vs. Elijah Burke

This first time ever match proved to be another good Tournament matchup. The crowd likes both individuals, but Christian had a distinct edge in fan support. Burke fought tooth and nail to pull out an upset tonight, as we all know that Christian is one of the favorites to win this whole thing. Despite putting up a good fight, Christian put down the former Intercontinental Champion with the Unprettier.

Winner: Christian [9:22] ***

The cameras now catch the United States Champion, Jack Swagger, backstage. He’s on his cell phone again and is again discussing some sort of plan. He says something about the King of the Ring and says that nobody will see something this big coming. He spots the camera listening in and hangs up, before shoving the cameraman down.Commercial BreakCM Punk is shown, pumping up the Straight Edge Society for our main event. He tells them that even though he won the World Title, even though Serena’s the Women’s Champion and even though he’s going to beat Jeff Hardy again at King of the Ring, the crowd still cheers for Jeff. They still believe that his pathetic lifestyle choices are right and successful. They must change the fans’ opinion of that. It is their duty to save the WWE Universe. Tonight, they will beat Straight Edge into Jeff Hardy and the Big Show.Gail Kim vs. Natalya Neidhart | Two weeks ago, Gail Kim debuted her new aggressive style and it worked on the inexperienced Kelly Kelly. That style did not sit well with Natalya, as she was too powerful. They knew each other pretty well though from a series of matches last year, but this was still a different Gail Kim. She managed to secure a victory by dropped Natalya with the Eat Defeat. | Winner: Gail Kim [5:02] ** |
Kim grabbed a microphone after the match and declared that she just sent Natalya packing to Raw with a loss. She says that April Lee should know better than to try and step into the ring with her. She doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into. Gail accepts the challenge for next week and says that this isn’t training anymore, she will hurt Lee. The cameras cut away to catch Big Show and Jeff Hardy talking over strategy before the upcoming main event. Show says something about Vickie being in the wrong for trying to get rid of Jeff. Jeff claims that she’s been trying for a long time and he’s not going anywhere.Commercial Break

Big Show & Jeff Hardy vs. The Straight Edge Society w/ Women’s Champion Serena Mancini

As handicap matches go, this one was pretty standard. It started out with some back and forth action until the heels began to work over Hardy. They kept him away from making the tag a few times, until a well-timed enziguri changed his fortunes. He tagged in Show, who delivered multiple headbutts. He continued to dominate for a while, until he delivered a huge knockout punch to Joey Matthews. He then tagged in Jeff and knocked Gallows to the outside. Jeff drilled Matthews with the Swanton Bomb to pick up the victory.

Winners: Big Show & Jeff Hardy [8:56] **½

Show and Hardy celebrated their victory as CM Punk and Serena backed up the ramp. Jeff was clearly tired of Punk escaping, so he began to chase him up the ramp. Punk ran off, while Serena blocked Jeff. Jeff picked her up and moved her out of the way, before resuming the chase. The cameras caught up with him backstage, looking for Punk. Punk appears from behind Jeff and levels him with the World Heavyweight Title. He begins to shout at Jeff, yelling for him to go home and take his painkillers. He promises that at the end of all of this, Jeff will be saved.© WWE 2010

- Great job on Smackdown, my man Orton I know he is going to Punt Shelton in the head, and win at King of the Ring, and when he does, nothing will stop him from becoming World Heavyweight Champion again. Even though he scurried up the ramp, and was livid, he is just saving his energy, saving that pent up anger and aggression for when he beats Shelton, and I already knew that he would beat Kennedy.
- I wonder who the new co-GM will be for Smackdown, I for one cannot wait, I hope that it is either Shane McMahon or it ends up being Mick Foley or it even ends up being the Chairman of this company Vince McMahon, because if it's Vince, then you know he will fire Vickie eventually, especially if she starts abusing her power
- Dudebusters beating the South Beach Party Boys, good match-up, I really like that, and the fact that you are bringing relevance back to the tag-team division
- Rhodes & Miz beating Black & Goldust, big fan of that, Cody is the better brother, Goldust is just washed up and should have retired a long time ago, and Black ever since he lost the US Title, he has been irrelevant on SD, Miz is the future of Smackdown, but I like Rhodes & Miz as a tag team for the meantime only until they both get their singles pushes.
- Christian beating Elijah Burke in a KOTR qualifier, great job, something tells me Christian is the odds-on favorite to win it all
- Gail Kim beating Natalya, I dunno about that, I wanted to see Natalya win, but hey it's all good
- Show & Hardy beating Punk & the SES, I love that, but I already know Punk will retain at KOTR by beating Jeff Hardy, I don't want that drug addict winning the belt, he just doesn't have what it takes anymore
- But overall, great job with the show, I really liked it, and I cannot wait until RAW
