Dusty Rhodes: Awesome except what is under his eyes? 9/10

Kevin Sullivan:Awesome except maybe use a thinner torso. 9/10

Buzz Sawyer:Cool except give him a beard and a more muscular torso.Also switch heads with Krusher Kruschev. 7/10

Cactus Jack: Cool except give him the thinner singlet mold and sand down the muscles. 9/10

Nikita Koloff: Awesome except give him kickpads. 9.5/10

Ivan Koloff: Same as Nikita.

Krusher Kruschev: Cool except mod the beard and switch heads with Buzz Sawyer. 7/10

ECW Shelf: Incredibly Awesome(Double Pun Intended) Get it? Justin Credible and Mike Awesome? Oh I crack myself up. 1000/10

Harley Race: Pretty cool just give him a moustache 9/10

Vader: Awesome, just buy the cape from Ralph and it will be Perfect! 10/10

More great advice! That Dusty was the polk-a-dot version and his eyes came like that for some reason.

I looked at Buzz and Krusher and I agree with your suggestion. Got the water boiling now (ha).

You probably can figure out the "recipe" for most of these, but if you can't and wanna take a stab, I'd be happy to let you know what I used.

Also, have you been successful at this torso cracking method? Sounds very tough, but Oh!- If you could master it....

Many thanks for the comments! ;D I have a huge backlog of these, so I'll probably be posting several per week. Looking forward to more feedback and ideas!!

By the way, I try to keep things simple. I also try to use little-to-no paint on all my customs because I've had such bad experiences with different brands and types, and I have a very shakey hand! My biggest challenge in making the figures you've seen is actually paint removal. I'm up for any suggestions in this area. I use ELO mostly, but it takes forever and a looooot of elbow grease.

My big upcoming projects (which will unfortunately involve paint) will be the characters that Jakks probably won't make at all: Classic Sting; Savage (any era); and Steamboat (don't know where to even start for The Dragon!!). I also have all the parts for a Great Muta circa NWA.

Look for more of Bobarett's Customs in the near future!!!

They all look great! I like the 2-pack Dusty and Sullivan!

To remove paint from the arms, legs and head (soft plastic areas) I use acetone on a Q-Tip and gently wipe the paint away.

For the hard plastic areas (torso and hips) I use the scratchy side of a yellow dishwashing sponge. Doesn't mar the plastic and removes paint pretty well. I also run it under hot water while I do this. Just my $0.02!

Buzz- I dont know what the head scan originally was but the figure is great and smooth. 10/10

hey bobarett, i try to use little paint.. or atleast as little as possible depending on what guy i am making...sometimes i do have to use paint like when i made the cs jessie ventura look like his ljn counter part...but if it helps here is my simple attempt at the dragon...

the recipe is a martell head with chiseled chest but i forget which figure i got that from and from the waist down is the honky tonk man's red tights version just with red kneepads added and the gitars on the side removed
