I'm sold. I hate MVP's current character/get-up, so this might generate a little more interest for me. I like the idea of a "down on his luck" type of guy, and he can pull it off.

I've got no problems with this. Its obvious that the writers aren't jobbing him out in a "de-push" like everyone seems to assume.
They are making a story out of it, it gets people talking about the guy and gives him a fresh approach other than the "im better than you" attitude. This will mark big things for MVP

I think this would be a great storyline.
However i like MVP and the way he gets beat every week is quite annoying.
