So...I was thinking just now of how I got started pic fedding thanks to KC, Guru, and CGJ's feds. (insert cheap pop here)
So I was wondering. What or who got you into pic fedding? A fed, a fedder, or just wanting to do it?

what got me into fedding was actually feds like FCW. FCW was the main federation that i watched over and over again. but then i got into feds like ROG and stuff like that. but the feds really weren't the only thing. i was tired of playing with my figures. i didnt really get enjoyment out of it. so basically i had hundreds and hundreds of figures for no reason. and pic fedding was the next best thing to playing with them. to be honest pic fedding saved my collection =) and i have loved pic fedding ever since

Oh, to look back again. www.freewebs.com/figfedjwf/That is the reason I got into Pic Fedding. Haggar was the man and he makes me wanna own TTL's again. FCW was crazy good when I used to pic fed back in the day as well. Both feds were so good because they used guys that normally others didn't.

FCW and PWF were my main reasons.

honestly, i think it was BWE/BWF for me... I was into figure posing before i got into pic fedding. there was another one, i forgot the name.. it has this titantron that really shows the action of the people on the stage. Anyway W3E and R.A.W. were also huge influences.

I've never done a pic fed, though I'd give to have the time and resources to do one. Im a huge fan of all you guys and I try my best to give you all a well deserved reply for your work. What got me into pic fedding wasn't FCW, PWF, W3E, JWF...for me it goes further back. I dont know how many of you remember/ know of -Hbreakid2k. Most that do remember him, remember the amazing customs he made of that time. But what Ive never seen remembered was his own pic fed. His production, again, for that time was incredible. His shows were usually only one or two matches long, but were completely animated. The Wayback Machine has given us the chance to catch a glimps his website and some of his work. However for his fed itself, is long gone. It sucks that new fans of pic fedding dont have the chance to see, IMO, one of the feds that really started it all.

JWF was the first form of pic fedding I had ever seen. I had been wanting to start a pic fed since January of 2006, I believe. I remember filming my first match, Eugene vs. Uh... I can't remember, I think Jamie Noble. I had my fed name picked out and everything. It was FWF, Figure Wrestling Federation. Original, eh? Haha. But yeah, after coming upon FCW and seeing the great feds of early 2006, WWE-ML, BAoW, ROP, HLW... I knew I had to quit "thinking" about doing a pic fed, and finally going through with the idea. And then in October '06, a little fed called Ring of Glory was born. Oh, and I remember following Deskjet's NWR fed, I wanted to do a TNA/ToyBiz fed soooo bad.

STOM posted a fun Royal Rumble a few years back that I really liked.
Then I found the PWF and saw what could be done if time and resources were invested properly to create an awesome show experience.
The lack of a regular Classic Fig Fed on the boards made me want to create one (not that I'm very 'regular'). Old school needs represented, lol!
The Comic Book format seemed a fun way to display and easier to see who's saying what, but it also limits what you can do also. I've always been a comic book fan, so the style was natural to me.
Plus, it allows me to brush the dust off my collection and put them to use once in awhile. ;D

Way way back, I don't even remember the dude's name anymore but I think his fed was Uspam. It was like.. pre JWF days. Oh god, the memories. CWF was a huge influence too.
