Head: Hasbro Steamboat face transplanted onto a Bischoff head Body: Chavo Guerrero--I wiped away the logos on his tights using acetone & a Q-Tip Jacket: from Ralph's "Orient Express" outfit, it's great! Headband: red spandex...it's removeable! Wars

Definately the best Steamboat custom I've seen. I'm not too keen on the skin tone on the face, it looks a bit pink but the transplant looks extrememely nicely done and the body all looks great too, I like the parts choice and the Ralph's Gi(?) too, good attire choice. Excellent custom all round, he'll fit nicely into your *more complete than most* CS collection.
I still haven't given up hope on getting an official Steamboat. Jeremy has made announcements twice about trying, once since Steamboat apparantly got back the rights to his name, he's still with WWE so it should be an easy signing. I'm hoping there's a few secrets left to come in CS. If not though I will hopefully be able to make a custom as good as yours, he's essential for any CS collection.

Finally, this is a Steamboat that I have been waiting for. The face transplant was well done. The tights painting is very smooth and the Ralph clothing is a nice addition to the figure.

Ive customized a long time and what the hell is a face transplant exactly?
By the way I watched Steamboat match today and never realized how good his theme music was in WCW.. Love it..

Face Transplant 101
Slice off the face of the character you want to use, for example, I used a Hasbro Ricky Steamboat's face.
Then I sliced off Eric Bischoff's face and glued the Steamboat face to the Bischoff head. I smoothed it together with Magic Sculpt, adding some hair details.

I have never been a fan of face transplants as I think they just look odd. Especially with the mismatched skintones...but if the skintone was matched up better I would dig this a lot more. I love the accessories. There seems to be some skintone showing around the left knee...not sure why..maybe it is the flash? If not then you should go fix it up real quick. I miss seeing your work..haven't seen it in awhile.

I miss Warsmans serious custom workings. These ones are simpler than what we have seen from him but that Uncle Elmer! OMG That was amazing. Will we ever see more work like that from you Wars?!

I thought I replied to this a couple days ago but apparently I never submitted it.
I really like how the face transplant turned out on this one. Matching it with the bischoff head works quite well. It still doesn't look perfect for Steamboat, that hasbro scan was always just a little off imo.
We haven't seen much from you lately, and I hope we see more soon.

You know what I miss on this board? WRESTLING CUSTOMS!! As for "serious customs" from me, maybe, I never say never. I have family and job responsibilities that take up too much time right now. It's the flash on his leg in that last photo. I did a double take on that too. The skintone is matched up as best I could being *a tinge* colorblind. (By a tinge, I mean VERY, lol) How can you "not be a fan of face transplants?" It's a technique. It's hardly different than trying to sculpt toes over someone's boots... Weird, I think it's a perfect representation facially! Especially compared to the LJN and Legends of Wrestling figures, and a biliion times better than some of the Jakks scans people try to use for Steamboat! Different strokes for different folks, I guess... Wars
