MAJOR NEWS

Next has agreed to an alliance deal with TNA! This means-Joint shows, Shared Superstars and more action! Whilst this deal was agreed to today, This partnership will not start until N.E.X.T 2. This will give both party's enough time to set up arenas, superstar agreements and schedules.

I didn't feel N.E.X.T was looked upon as a global company. And i didn't want to sign a deal with WWE. That would be so unoriginal.

i don't think it was necessary for you to strike a deal with TNA because you could have just used some TNA superstars without having to say you are borrowing them from TNA. they could have just been on the NEXT roster.

and you said striking a deal with the WWE would be unoriginal... well either way it is unoriginal because TNA is also an established company.

i understand why you did it but i don't think it was really necessary

either way i will be looking forward to your first show and i really think this will be a good fed. good luck man. i hope i didn't come off harsh or anything. I'm just giving you some useful feedback.

and IMPACT zone replica/arena would be really cool. if you did that i would be all for this merge of TNA and NEXT. have you filmed anything yet?

I forgot to type up a back story to go with this, Mabye this will make you understand why (Note I woke up half an hour ago so if its a tad confusing sorry):
I'ts late 2008 and many WWE contracts have run out. This leaves some of the most star studded free agents ever floating around. N.E.X.T stepped in just at the right time to sign some older yet better wrestling talent. Although N.E.X.T has such a great roster-nobody seemed to notice them. Even if a show hadn't been put out nobody had noticed our promos. N.E.X.T owner Matt Striker was in need with more exposure. WWE was a option but Matt was afraid that N.E.X.T would become the new ECW. TNA is becoming one of the biggest company's in the world today and had great exposure. Well known by many people today. Matt new they didn't need a second show because of there small roster. Matt had approached Dixie Carter and requested this partnership later that day, to be acepted. And now look-3 replies ^^^


Also: This way i'm not really "Stealing" TNA's roster as such. It's a..."Talent Exchange"


And I havn't filmed anything yet. I want to set up a awesome arena first.

The following is quoted from N.E.X.T Owner Matt Striker regarding the TNA - N.E.X.T alliance-

Me, Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarret have decided how this alliance will work. We know announced the alliance to start on episode 2, But this has been shifted to episode 4. This will give N.E.X.T time to establish as a company. Every N.E.X.T show there will be one TNA match and every TNA show there will be one N.E.XT match. There will be a occasional joint show/PPV. We hope this alliance will be beneficial for both company's.

This following news was also taken from N.E.X.T owner Matt Striker.

Starting at episode one there will be a tournament to decide the first ever N.E.X.T heavyweight champion. I am also happy to announce that there will be a N.E.X.T website launching in the upcoming weeks.
