Made another Steiner. Torso swapped onto a Decade of Domination HHH with Lesnar lower legs and boots. Think I like this one more than the red one I made. Skin tones arn't a perfect match but not that noticeable unless you’re looking close. This one also fixes the elite 105 height issue by making Steiner shorter.

Makes the figure a little shorter but it works for Steiner IMO. I feel his elite is too tall as is so the Lesnar lower legs makes him more accurate. Only thing to note with the Boogs upper legs it’s hard to get the figure to stand straight. Neutral pose the figure wants to stand with his legs somewhat spread out but not terribly noticible. If someone wanted to Swap the Steiner torso over to the Boogs crotch price it would probably fix it since I believe the crotch pieces are different. Yeah I thought his figure is tall to begin wish so I wanted to know if that made him even taller. Nope shorter which is a good thing.

Need to add logos still but liking this 2000 Scott Steiner. Rick Boogs upper legs and Lesnar lower legs and boots. How’s the height? Makes the figure a little shorter but it works for Steiner IMO. Love the match. Foley still had it but give credit to Orton as well for keeping up with the hardcore legend.
I’ve never been a fan of Foley/Edge at WM22. I feel Foley/Orton blows it out of the water.

He was the most useless wrestler ever until Garrett Bischoff came around. Then Wes Brisco took that mantle from Garrett a few months later in 2012 but I give Wes a pass because he wasn't brought in to any company due to nepotism. I've been watching Nitros and seen every episode he's been in until where I'm at in March 2000 and he did improve and the psycho gimmick got him to open up and work on his character. His in-ring work improved a lot but my god did he not know how to bump, sell or entertain for like a good year into his WCW career. He'd just flop around like a stiff fish. Lack of training aside, it’s amazing how David and Charlotte are siblings yet complete opposites when it comes to athleticism.

We know why Mattel does it; to milk as much money from the mold as possible. As a consumer, it sucks as I’ve purchased rings in the past and was told after the New Gen ring that Mattel wouldn’t pull stuff like this. From a business perspective, I also get it as it’s all about making money.
My biggest question is, why the hell a UE Bischoff when he just needs to stand there? Why not throw in a Scott Steiner or DDP in jeans as that seems like it would help the set sell more than Eric (yes, they had UEs planned in the crowdfund but they could have thrown in an elite version of one of them with this set).

If anyone watches Wrestling Bios on YouTube, his “Reliving the War” series is up to early 1999 so he just started covering the early days of David Flair. It’s clear David either did not want to be there, or simply was the most talentless person to ever walk this planet.
I did enjoy his “psycho” gimmick with Crowbar and Daffney.

It’s the WWE so of course Steiner got the blame for that feud, but it’s hardly brought up that HHH was working injured as well, and outside of working with HBK, his matches were pretty abysmal throughout 2003. Would have been super easy to book them in an 8-10 minute street fight at the Rumble, but instead we got a near-20 minute regular match that bombed. You’d think they’d have learned their lesson from this feud, but just a few months later we were getting Goldberg in near-20 minute matches too.
I still don’t see how they drag this feud out to WM19 if it started when they did. If they wanted HHH/Steiner at WM19, why not have HHH/Booker T at the Rumble and then start the feud with Steiner? Either way Scott was screwed because nobody was taking the belt from Hunter. Only chance Steiner had was being placed on Smackdown where he could work with Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, Lesnar, ect… who could help to hide his weaknesses in the ring.

When the “worst” match on the card is either Booker/Goldust vs Unamericans or Taker/Test, you have a pretty great card.

Austin/HHH is my match of the year for 2001. That alone was worth the price of this great PPV.

There's no way they get to a third match. BS from Prichard. JR said it too but reckoned a tag match vs Evolution was on the cards for NWO. But then the RR match stunk & Vince wanted it done & dusted. Even if the Rumble match wasn’t a disaster, I have a feeling they’d have still fast-tracked the second match here considering Angle was so messed up at the time. Either way Steiner was screwed the moment they had him walk out to challenge HHH at the height of his reign of terror.

Never been a fan of that UE Taker. The torso looks awkward as hell and one of the headsculpts isn’t even from that era. They could have easily released the exclusive UE Kane in reverse colors as a “greatest hits” figure to give every collector a chance at it. Problem then is that everyone who bought the ring would be furious that they had to buy a ring to get it. Personally, I reckon they should have done the Kane with two sleeves from the first blood match. Technically it's a 'different' attire.
They could have slapped the “greatest hits” logo on the box and bam, collectors of the original version still have something unique.

Anyone know if there’s longer legs to swap onto RA Rock to make him taller?

Steiner not being 100% and Trips working through a hamstring injury or something of the sort at the time was just awful for Raw all around. The posedowns and push up contests every week were incredibly awful to watch. They killed all of Steiners momentum from the moment he challenged for the World Title and signed with Raw. Kind of interesting to think if WWE did send him to SD we may have gotten Brock/Steiner or Angle/Steiner which if done right both could have been interesting. But Raw in 2003 was becoming WCW 2.0, you had Goldberg, Nash, Steiner, Jericho, Flair, Booker T, Lance Storm, Stacy, Bischoff, Jindrak, etc... Regardless of the show he was on, making Steiner a face was 100% the wrong move. I’ve always felt if Steiner was placed on Smackdown that his run would have been completely different. They had plenty of workhorses that could have helped hide his injury from the start, and feuds with Brock, Angle, Benoit, and Guerrero would have exceeded the crap we got with HHH.

I will say this about the Steiner vs. Triple H feud... that music video package at the Royal Rumble to the song "Stronger" by Trust Company That video made you hyped for the match you were about to see. Then that match happened and well.... that was a different story all together Both the RR and NWO promo-packages for this feud were great. If you only ever watched those two videos you’d think the feud was one of the greatest of all time.

Been listening to some Bruce Pritchard stuff recently and he mentioned how WM XIX was originally expected to be HHH/Steiner for the world title when they signed Scott back in the fall.
We know this is probably true due to Booker’s sudden feud with HHH, but my question is how the hell do they actually get there for a third match? Let’s assume the WWE books Steiner better and fans don’t turn on the feud. There’s no way in hell HHH was dropping that belt to anyone at that time. So they do the DQ finish at the Rumble. Going into NWO you can’t pull the same crap again so one man has to win. HHH wins and Steiner’s credibility is dead, whether he lost clean or by cheating. We know Steiner wasn’t winning the belt either so that option is out the window.
Anyone have any ideas how they could have dragged this feud out another month to WM assuming the fans didn’t turn on it? Or anyone think this is more BS from Bruce and believe the feud was always going to be a “two-month stop” for HHH on the road to WM?
