I dunno, he's posting blogs about it and said that he broke his collarbone and he got skinned up pretty bad, he also said the motorcycle was a Harley and it was a rental, so i dunno, i think it's real. I said it before... if the WWE is doing this as a worked injury then they aren't going to let Orton post blogs that say "Oh yeah, it's all a work so I'll see you guys at Summerslam then." the WWE has probably told him to go on his website and play up the injury as well. The 300 feet thing should be a dead giveaway that it's a work... like said, that's the length of a freaking Baseball field! There is no way you can go THAT damn far and walk away with only a re-broken collarbone and a couple of scrapes... You're gonna break or injure SOMETHING else in that case... It's just to fantastical! I mean, if they stuck with the 30 feet story, MAYBE I would be more lenient on believing it... but Orton and Cole said 300! That's just TOO far to be believable...

Its a work. There is no way that Orton broke his collarbone the same day that he was cleared to wrestle.

I'm tending to think it's a work since the timeframe it is so unlikely and because the injury was reported on RAW and it was unusual they would announce a setback on a TV show ... however, I think it's sort of wrong or weird to fake an injury like that and say someone had a bike accident so I'm not sure. I'm still a little more likely to think it's a work though ... and I hope it is because the sooner Orton is back, the better.

I'm not intellectually- disabled like WWE wants me to be so I'm absolutely sure it's a work and Orton will show up at Summerslam. ... however, I think it's sort of wrong or weird to fake an injury like that and say someone had a bike accident so I'm not sure. You seem to have forgotten who you've been talking about.

Orton probably wasn't supposed to say he was cleared to wrestle and this their way of covering it up.

Its a work and most likely will either have Orton show up on Sunday or whenever they feel like making him re-appear on tv.

It cracks me up. Everytime something happens to a wrestler there's this big thread about whether it's real or not. I'm waiting for the, "Does JR really own a BBQ joint or is it just part of his gimmick?" thread.

I read about the accident on news sites like rajah before I saw it on WWE.com. I think it's real. If it's a work, then it would be awesome to see him come out at Summerslam, but I highly doubt it's happening, cause I feel it's definitely real.

I think it's a work.
So it's gonna be like the "OH MY GOD, I THOUGHT HE WAS RE-INJURED!" reaction from the announcers when he returns maybe at Summerslam.

I bet he failed a drug test (which would be his 3rd strike if Im correct) and instead of putting one of their top 5 big name stars on the list they come up with a fake injury

Lol I was actually hoping before opening this thread that there'd be a who cares option, because I really don't, everyone thinks everythings a work anyways, I'm surprised no one's thought that the recent releases were works as well.
Anyway Orton will end up on the injured list or his name will be involved in another scandal soon anyway, and whenever he's on my TV I'm just not interested.

check this out this basically proves it all fake at the end. There's some questioning behind the legitimacy of WWE's story on Randy Orton re-injuring himself in a motorcycle accident. While we don't want to look stupid and say it's a work, it sure does look suspicious and a few people close to the situation are feeling the same way. Other than the WWE story, there has been no outside confirmation on the accident.
The belief among some is that it is real, but the story hasn't been reported in any St. Louis media outlets as of this writing and seeing how Randy Orton is a celebrity, a motorcycle accident would atleast have been picked up by someone by now. If the story isn't reported elsewhere in the next few days, then you can start to ask more questions. You have to ask how a guy rolled 300 feet on the ground and only re-injured his shoulder. Like I said, I'd hate to call it a work and it turn out to be true but the WWE story had a lot of details in it making it look credible, but is it too detailed?
Furthermore, as of this writing, the Missouri Highway Patrol lists no accident report for anyone with the last name Orton for August 8th through the 11th.
One would like to think that Orton is okay and will make some sort of surprise appearance at Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view but we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays
