Yeah, I believe he debuted the new attire at WrestleMania 21. the first time i saw him wear them was during the gold rush tournament in early 2005, january i think against triple h i remember it cause his entrance gear chains accidentally got stuck on the entrance ramp after he knelt down to pray

It probaby had something to do with the fact that he's 40 something, and did't think it was right to have broken hearts on his attire anymore. He should have changed the broken hearts for balding heads instead.

I loved his old tights, but I really like the new pants too. I guess its more comfortable and for his knee braces it looks better

why did triple h change from tights to wearing trunks To feel comfortable in the ring, and at the time he was wearing a knee brace

Michaels did indeed debut he baggy tights look at Wrestlemania 21, the Gold Rush tourney did not occur until April-May 2005 after Mania.
I read in Michaels book that due to his old back injury he cannot lift weights anymore so he lost most of his muscle definition he had earlier in his career. That is likely part of the reason he switched to the baggy tights look.

I'm one of the few who actually like the pants I guess... though a few more variations in design and color would be nice.

I have no problem with HBK changing from tights to pants...but design wise, the tights always looked better. Since the switch, there's only been one pair of HBK pants I like.

He had been wearing his "broken hearts" attire ever since he split with Jannetty. Pretty much every wrestler has had an attire change within the last 15 years...

I don't mind them. I still have my tights HBK figure. However if I wanted a RA It'd tick me off because that loose pants mould sucks. DA Mould is okay but too bulky. I'm sticking too my short haired SVS2002 fig.

Sort of OT, but not too much-- JBL (as Justin Hawk Bradshaw) used to wear at least one of the biggest knee braces/stabilizers I've ever seen a wrestler wear (maybe two--don't remember). During his run in the APA he wore smaller versions and then as JBL he just wears kneepads. How in the blue hell have his knees gotten better over time (especially in wrestling?!?!) As a guy with bad knees, I'd like to know his secret!
