Hopefully punk will beat edge at the end of a ppv or something and take the title to raw, Im sick of the spinner.

I must say, Ted DiBiase's title win was the coolest thing I've seen in a while. It just had a great vibe to it.
I am loving Jericho's "I'M AN HONEST MAN!!!" gimmick, too.

I just checked WWE.com, and I am really happy with the results of last night's show. I'm really surprised that both Triple H and Edge retained. It's great that Kofi's the Intercontinental Champion, too. I'm so happy that the Miz and John Morrison retained, as well as Matt Hardy.

Thankfully Horny and Finlay didn't win the belts like I expected.

Wasn't Neidhart supposed to face someone for the divas championship?

yes, but apparently mick foley's mention of it on the us broadcast was deleted, it was on the uk broadcast however. i guess she'll compete it for it at a later date.

I thought it was a good ppv, not to the extremes of 'great' or 'horrible', but somewhere in the middle where a few surprises were had and almost every match was of decent quality. The WWE and World Heavyweight title matches both were very good and either could easily be considered the best match of the night. I would give the slight edge to the WWE title match for its many near falls and surprise/unexpected (well, to most of us) ending. Jericho/Kofi was the best undercard match of the night, and to anyone who chants boring in a match involving Chris Jericho (as heard from some in the crowd last night), you can go yourself because both guys worked their asses off in the IC title match. There were a few matches that dragged on throughout, in my opinion, such as the US and Womens title matches, but the quality was still there and I'm glad we saw retaining champions throughout most of the event. The WWE tag team title match was a decent opener and saves itself from being one of the worst matches of the night by having Miz/Morrison retain the belts. The World Tag Team title match was a bit of a surprise, I guess, to those who hadn't considered Rhodes to be Dibiase's partner, but I thought it worked well and the crowd definitely didn't know what to think about it once the 'match' was over. And, finally, the ECW title match was good but could have been better had Kane not nearly injured himself early on, causing Henry and Show to stall before thinking on the fly. I really liked Henry's out-of-nowhere splash and it was a near-perfect ending crowning a new ECW champion in a guy that deserved a title reign for years now. The ppv itself seemed to go by fast, despite certain matches slowing it down for a bit. The match quality was very good for both main events and the undercard was decent without any flat-out terrible matches on the card. It is one of the better overall ppvs of the year thus far, but if I had to grade it out of 10, it would be a 7.5 for me. Nothing too special occurred, but it was a quality ppv and would be worth getting on DVD in a couple of months.

The Holly/Rhodes/Dibiase angle made me laugh so hard. "The fans here are shocked at what just happened!"... no, that fans could just care less about what just happened.
It'll be even funnier throughout the week, as Rhodes/Dibiase STILL get no reaction from the crowd whatsoever. Because Rhodes sucks and we have still yet to see anything from Dibiase.

Edge retained, and Triple H retained.
Yeah, what a predictable PPV. I laughed so hard when HHH retained because of all the guys here saying it was predictable and we only needed to see the first main event.

I got nothing for the two belts being on Smackdown. All I know is that Edge is gonna be the one who gets ed somehow. Yep, sadly.

I wasn't too keen on Kofi winning the IC title at first, but now this surely must mean the title will be defended at most PPV's, instead of rarely being defended at all. The belt has been defended at TWO PPV's this year. Nope, this is the only PPV in 2008 the IC Title has been defended at, and the first since SUMMERSLAM of last year.

So, neither Jeff, MVP, or CM Punk can get on the card.. yet Kofi Kingston gets given the IC belt - what a joke, that is.. MVP should've been challenging for the US title, not Chavo - or maybe even a special attraction of Matt vs Jeff, which the fans would've eaten up.. Either way, Jeff Hardy should have been on the card..

^^ Because the majority aren't interested in seeing Matt vs Chavo - particularly Chavo..

ok, so is Cody a two time Tag Team Champ now?
When Michael Cole said that Ted DiBiase was the first superstar to win tag team gold in his debut match, he was wrong. M...N...M!
