Should he have been nicer? Yes. But he's already giving her hundreds of thousands of dollars, so that's pretty nice as it is.

I'm sure Vince McMahon is a very nice guy.
However, it's TV, and as long as there's a WWE camera on him, he's "Mr." McMahon, the character.

That's pretty ironic coming from JR, considering how "hurt" he was when Vince made fun of his colon surgery on RAW. I lost all my respect for Jim Ross years ago, as well as Vince.

the only thing remember from that call was JR saying "aww". video?
and really she did go over little over the top. sure she won, and had every right to be excited, but i would maintain a little more composure. but hey, at least she didnt say "my birfdays on Night of Champions!"

JR has been making a lot of comments lately. Usually about Adamle. He really shouldn't be talking, as his announcing skills haven't been top notch for a long long time.

He came back to the WWE and essentially got Joey Styles fired from the job he signed with the company - to be the lead play-by-play man on RAW. Joey is a true professional, though, and was willing to take a backseat and let JR have his spotlight on RAW again. The WWE is partly to blame for even hiring Joey to begin with when all they tried to do with him was mold him into JR, the guy he was supposed to be replacing. But JR was the guy who ultimately returned and kicked Joey Styles off RAW. He's also been a terrible announcer for the past decade as far as not even knowing how to call matches, but he's especially gotten even worse within the last five years. He shows absolutely no excitement for anything that goes on. |

Yep. I mean if I won $100,000, I'd scream. There is no shame in that. JR is just a stupid fatheaded douche who is trying to break the record of "who gets fired the most". I've got nothing bad to say about Vince, when there is a TV around him, he is Mr. McMahon not Vince McMahon.

here's the clip late in the video --- around 8:31 you can hear where lawler talks about her reaction being what it was....then at like 8:36 JR tells her to "now go take her medicine" it's not a big deal and coulda said alot worse, but just pretty mean thing to say. well after seeing that vince seemed to be glad he changed that woman's life with that money. but what JR said is just rude what right does he have to say someone should take meds for being overjoyed about winning money. |

Get over it. It's not like you or I haven't said anything ten times worse in our everyday lives. It be may "mean", but the truth is that no one in this cruel, hate-filled, heartless, selfish, hedonistic, materialistic society gives a damn about anything anymore.
And yeah, I'm glad she won the money. I'm glad it was given to someone who sounded like they actually needed it. Like that actually matters...
