I'm going with Stan Hansen's standing Western lariat.

Bradshaw's Clothesline From Hell

I think in terms of believability and actually respecting it as a finisher, Hansen takes it in a landslide. Most of the clotheslines/lariats you have listed have pretty much been kicked out of at an excessive amount which, in the end, comes down to nobody buying it as a finish. Bradshaw's Lariat is an especially good case on that which is unfortunate because his delivery is really good most of the time. I don't think the Lariat, however, needs to be pretty to be a good finish. A perfect example is the finish to Kobashi/Hansen, where Kobashi is on the top for a Moonsault, Hansen cuts out his leg, and lariats him off the turnbuckle. It wasn't pretty or spectacular visually, but you knew in that second that Kobashi was finished. Hansen also has the advantage to building sort of a mythic reputation with his Lariat following the Sammartino bout and subsequent broken neck.
So, ultimately, gotta go with Hansen for sure.

Stan "The Lariat" Hansen, hands down. Nobody else comes close.

Most brutal lariat ever. I'd say the 7/29/93 Hansen turnbuckle Western lariat along with Kobashi's 6/12/98 standing Burning Lariat to Kawada ranks up as the top two lariats of all-time. And a couple fantastic lariat compilation videos - Maybe these will help you guys vote easier.

Cant go past the clothesline from hell. When executed right the whole thing looks vicious particularly Rikishi's selling of it.

McGuiness' lariat, it has the most impact I have ever seen in a long time.

I would vote Hansen's running lariat over the standing one. Choshu's comes in second though.

Lariats are more about the selling then the delivery, if a guy takes any type of lariat and just does a standard bump it looks weak, the guys who try to get backwards rotation of their bodies and land higher up on their backs looking all crumpled up really make it look devastating.

Toshiaki Kawada or Takao Omori wins that award. They sold Kobashi's Burning lariats like hell. I love Misawa and all. But that mother er could not sell a lariat for anything. Kawada always could sell better than Misawa.

Bradshaw's Clothesline from Hell rules. I especially love seeing it live. I also liked watching Bret Hart's "Hart Attack". It wasn't stiff like most clotheslines, but it was great to watch.

I love how TPO just mentions all these people as if half the people here know who they are.
