Vince McMahon didn't even know that Razor Ramon was a parody of Tony Montana and that Paul Burchill's pirate get up was made up to look like Johnny Depp, I sure as hell doubt that he knows what a Rick Roll is. He does have writers you know. I'm a little skeptical. It seems odd that it happened twice in a row. Or did he call the same guy again?

He called the same guy twice because he hung up on him the first time.

That was funny as hell. ''ANSWER YOUR PHONE YOU IDIOT!'' JR must not be an Astley fan. It's because he wanted the guy to have a chance at winning.

Imagine how that guy felt when he finally picked up and Vince hung up originally.... I would have cried.... but low and behold, Astley hits again and BOOM, $200K richer. I would have figured he wouldn't have tried the guy twice. Regardless, funniest thing I've seen on RAW in years and it was unintentional. How bad were those segments, though? Not only was it a waste of time, but like the people were hardly excited, everyone knew the password so there was no guy freaking out about how he wished he was watching live, and it just felt seemingly uneventful. Am I supposed to feel good for some random schmoe who wins money? I mean, it's cool.... but this is a wrestling show.... and instead of furthering some storylines or utilizing the talent roster, or even using the money on new talent, we get this waste of time...
Thank God For Astley!
On a side note, does anyone think Vince is somehow still making out even if he is honestly giving out cash? I feel like he is still making money back on this idea. Also, how do you think the money is sent? They say its "Cash money" so do they send it in a box? Or do they have to pick it up??

ok, i read about it...ummm...seriously, whats so funny about that? How would you feel if a white guy that sounds like a black guy and dances horribly popped up on your computer screen singing an incredibly cheesy song? Pretty pwned right? Took me til after the second playing of Rick Astley that I made the connection that Vince had got Rick Rolled... great stuff.

Do you have any idea what a disaster it would be to attempt to send $250,000 in CASH through the mail? Thats soooo idiotic.

The only reason I was confused was because they kept making it seem like the winner would actually take the cash that was in the box. They kept saying "cash money". So that's why I questioned whether or not they actually got a check or if the money was taxed... it was a bit deceiving. Yeah I realized how ridiculous it would be to send cash in the mail which is why I thought maybe someone delivered it.... but yeah, then again, it wouldn't make sense.

How did this whole Rick Roll thing start anyways? Think it was either Anon or 4chan, most probably a mix of them both.

Rick Astley doesn't sound like a black soul and R&B singer? Then what do you classify his music under?

^^^ 80's pop.. Rick Astley doesn't sound black.. Oh, and I dug that song when I was a kid .. I dug Punk before he sold out. Why on earth did you feel the need, to bring up CM Punk? What the hell does CM Punk have to do with a thread about Rick Astley and Vince getting Rick Roll'd?..
