Edge's response really made him out to be a dick. All the guy brought up was that Undertaker slitting his wrists (I don't remember this angle personally, so I can't really comment) was a bit too extreme for television and Edge went off on him. When he said "this is real life," I took it to mean that having a human being on live TV cutting his wrists is way different than Edge's comparison of Darth Vader getting his hand cut off in a movie.
You also have to keep in mind that this type of stuff really wasn't being done in wrestling before. Having guys getting crucified, hanged, set on fire, etc. was all new at the time for wrestling, especially the angle with Taker stalking Vince's family, kidnapping Stephanie and attempting to marry her. So, yeah...I can understand the guy's point.

Yeah get mad at a fan for getting into a storyline.. isnt that the whole point of wrestling? to draw people in.. when people start questioning is this or that real... its a good thing... reminds me of the nwo
