I was'int a wrestling fan when I watched this movie, But after I watched it, I almost never wanted to watch wrestling ever. Thank God it was WCW though

It might be the bias of being a WWF fan but personally I did not like that movie. The overall cheesyness of WCW was too much to stomach

I first saw it before I was a wrestling fan and I liked it... Being a wrestling fan and watching it now is even more enjoyable. You get to see cool wrestlers like Mysterio and stuff in the movie and it's all together a good movie.

Technically it was garbage. But as a wrestling fan I loved it. I've seen that so many times and can't get enough of it for some reason. I'd love for more wrestling movies to be similar to that rather than that made up bs that is made like the Marine...
Yay. Cena shot.

i saw that movie when it came out in theatres, with my 2nd cousin(who was never big into wrestling) and we both thought it was hillarious... then, last year, my buddy and i were out shopping on my birthday and he bought me a used copy of the dvd. ive watched it many times recently and still think its a pretty funny movie. i dont understand why people think its so bad, but, whatever.

Was a terrible film, even as a wrestling fan I can distinguish what is good and bad.

Actually... WCW used a version of the Triple Cage before Ready To Rumble even came out... they had a match called the Tower Of Doom at Uncensored 1996, which was a triple cage... I also think there was another match like the triple cage used in the late 80's, I can't remember for sure though.
