No. It's a TV show. It has actors and scripts and everything that occurs on camera has been written and practiced.
It's a TV show.

No, it's extreme theatre! "Wherefore art thou, King of Kings? Come hither, so that I may beat thee senseless and procure yon title belt!" "I be here, Killer of Legends...thou knowest where to find me."

It's not a sport. The outcomes are predetermined, therefor it can't truly be a sport. That does not, however mean that the guys have to be in great shape, very skilled and honestly take more damage than any guys in any other "sport." So, then does that mean that boxing isn't a sport because sometimes guys are paid to take a dive? That's a predetermined ending.

I consider it to be one of the best forms of entertainment ever created, but it's for sure NOT a sport.

Nope. It'd have to be an actual competition to be a sport.

I've said this a few times... the only thing I consider to be a sport are the events performed at the Olympics or atleast used to be performed and then a few exceptions like Football, Golf, etc...
With that said, I would not consider Wrestling a sport unless we are referring to Frestyle Wrestling in which case, yes it is a sport... but the stuff that is televised every week? No, that is not a sport... it's like every other genre you'd see on TV rolled into one... it's only Entertainment, there is no Sport in it...

no, absolutely not. there's no real competition, so how can anyone seriously call it a sport? they're acting like they are doing a sport, it's more of an athletic stunt tv show if you had to classify it as something.

Not a sport. It's more like an extended fight scene from a movie.

Professional Wrestling is NOT a sport. It doesn't matter what company it is, or where it is, it is NOT a sport.
