Devine for the NWC Libert Champion! This Devine/Sullivan feud is awesome! The main event was awesome. A triple threat for the gold would be nice.

I'm Bored, so heres another promo, although did you (Adam Impact)ask if you could pick the stipulation because he said to tell him before making matches
Red Dragon is backstage with interviewer Becky Bayless while he has one half of the NWC Tag Titles resting on his shoulder:
Bayless: Come June 13th your partner, Assassin will be facing Nick Jacobs in a steel cage match with the alot on the line, how do you feel?
Dragon: How do I feel? I feel great cause I know on June 13th Jacobs and Archer will never get a shot at these tag titles ever again
Bayless: Are you upset that you arn't going in the cage with Jacobs?
Dragon: Of course, I would love to rip that SOB apart but I have full faith in Assassin
Bayless: Good Luck Dragon because on June 13th Assassin will face Nick Jacobs of the Rock & Roll Express 2.0 will face Assassin of the Red Assassin. If Assassin wins the Rock & Roll Express 2.0 will never get a shot at the NWC Tag Team Titles as long as The Red Assassins are champions. But if Jacobs wins the Rock & Roll Express will get a future Tag Team Title shot. Thats all from the National Wrestling Circuit, Goodnight

Welcome to our live coverage of National Wrestling Circuit's ninth show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The "Chase for the Strap" tournament begins tonight, as many big independent stars will be making appearances to compete for the chance to become NWC's first Liberty Champion. It should be noted that this tournament is a two-night event, which will begin tonight and end tomorrow evening. 1) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #1 - Naomichi Marufuji defeated Tim Donst (7:56) with the "Shiranui Kai". **3/4. Really an interesting match with two young guys giving it their absolute all. Both of these men are up there in my favorite wrestlers list, and to me, this match was pretty much a dream come true. Marufuji dominated the match, and in the end, won with a sick "Shiranui Kai". Not the greatest match, but still very entertaining.
2) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #1 - Evan Pagano defeated Toby Klein (10:04) with "The Calling". **. Mainly notorious for his deatmatches, Klein looked pretty bad in a match that had regular rules. Pagano did a great job of carrying him, and in the end, he ended up winning after reversing Klein's "Insanity Driver" into "The Calling" for a three count. 3) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #2 - Adam Pearce defeated Eddie Rodriguez (12:25) after making him tap to the "Iron Spike". ***1/4. Both of these men had great chemistry, which really brought the match rating up. In the end, Pearce's experience seemed to win him over. As soon as Pearce locked in that "Iron Spike", the crowd knew that it was over. Overall, a great match that the crowd loved. 4) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #2 - Frank Sullivan defeated Kota Ibushi (15:12) with the "Mustache Mash". ***1/2. In a few years, I swear, Kota Ibushi will be a well-known world champion in Japan. Seriously, this guy is just a phenominal athlete. Sullivan did a great job of holding his own in the match, but it was clear that Ibushi was the better wrestler. In the end, Sullivan somehow managed to reverse the "Golden Star Press" into the "Mustache Mash" for a shocking three count. Both men shook hands both, before the match and after it had finally ended. 5) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #3 - Jordan Devine defeated Low Ki (19:38) with the "Moon Over Miami". ****1/4. Incredible bout that was definately up there in terms of one of NWC's best matches of all-time. Ki looked like an absolute beast, as usual, and Devine put on one of his best performances to date. In the end, Devine shocked Low Ki, after kicking out of the "Tidal Wave". Just as Low Ki was about to finish things off with the "Ki Krusher", Devine quickly nailed the "Moon Over Miami" for a three count, impressing the entire arena. This match is going to be tough to beat, folks. --- Intermission break. --- 6) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #3 - Super Dragon defeated Rocky Romero (7:26) with the "Curb Stomp". **1/2. Quite a disappointing match, seeing as how great it could've been if both men were given more time. The crowd went crazy for Super Dragon, easily getting the loudest pop of the night. This may be way too early of a prediction, but in all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon ended up winning this tournament. 7) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #4 - Johnny Arsenic defeated Ricochet (11:50) with the "Dishonourable Discharge". **3/4. I haven't seen much of this guy before, but Ricochet's really quite the athlete. He reminded me of Jack Evans, but much more agile (if that's even possible). Arsenic picked up the win, however, after Richochet got knocked out with the "Dishonourable Discharge", as he was trying to hit a springboard dropkick. Yeah, it was definately as sick of a spot as it sounds. 8) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #4 - Chuck Taylor defeated Zangief (23:01) with the "Awful Waffle". ***3/4. Yeah, your eyes are not decieving you. Zangief has dropped his undefeated streak to none other than Chuckie-T, baby. Terrific match to watch live, and was definately worthy of its main event status on the show. The crowd couldn't believe it when Taylor managed to throw Zangief down, perfectly executing the "Awful Waffle" for the pinfall. I mean, there's really not much to say about this show. It was awesome, as expected. You just can't go wrong when you've got some of the best indy names on your card. Instead of ranting on particular matches, I'm going to go ahead and name my top-three picks to win the "Chase for the Strap" tournament. Drum roll, please. And my three picks are Chuck Taylor, Super Dragon, and Naomichi Marufuji. Why didn't I pick any NWC wrestlers? Because I can't see them taking down the likes of Taylor, Dragon, or Marufuji, that's why. That's all for now, guys. Live coverage for night two tomorrow will be right on here, so don't forget to stop by.

Welcome to our live coverage of National Wrestling Circuit's tenth show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The "Chase for the Strap" two-night tournament will conclude tonight, as the eight remaining international superstars will go head-to-head for the chance to become NWC's first Liberty Champion. 1) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #5 - Naomichi Marufuji defeated Adam Pearce (12:27) with the "Pole Shift". ***1/2. Excellent back and forth match with both men getting in their share of offense in. Marufuji looked exceptionally impressive, and in the end, he managed to take down Pearce with the "Pole Shift" to advance forward into the semi-finals of the tournament. 2) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #5 - Frank Sullivan defeated Evan Pagano (9:10) after nailing him with a Superkick to the skull. **3/4. Pagano's looking better and better every night. If Danielson continues to push him correctly, this guy could be one of the promotion's most talented stars. As usual, Sullivan looked great, and managed to finish off Pagano with a Superkick out of nowhere for the pinfall. 3) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #6 - Jordan Devine defeated Johnny Arsenic (8:44) with the "Moon Over Miami". Arsenic took advantage of the match from the beginning, overpowering Devine with some real stiff kicks to the mid-section. Towards the end of the bout, however, Devine gained control after nailing in a variety of suplexes, one including the "Moon Over Miami", which ultimately gave Devine the win. 4) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #6 - Super Dragon defeated Chuck Taylor (19:13) after he chrushed him with the "Psycho Driver II". ***3/4. Amazing match put on two spectacular wrestlers. The crowd was hot for both men, which really added a lot to the intensity in the ring. Just as things seemed like they were in the bag for Taylor, Dragon reversed the "Awful Waffle" into the "Psycho Driver II" for the win. This match is definately worth checking out, guys. 5) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket A; Match #7 - Jordan Devine defeated Naomichi Marufuji (15:46) with a shoulder jawbreaker. ***1/2. Devine really went out in his full-fledged heel routine in this match, capitalizing on any oppurtunity that he could to damage Marufuji's body. After brutally throwing him into the steel steps, Marufuji sold a severe head injury. After throwing him back into the ring, Devine capitalized on his antics by knocking him out with a shoulder jawbreaker for the win. 6) NWC Liberty Championship Tournament: Bracket B; Match #7 - Frank Sullivan defeated Super Dragon (11:05) with the "Mustache Mash". **3/4. Quite a short match that was a little disappointing, but it was straight to the point. Dragon was selling a back injury from his match with Taylor, which gave Sullivan an advantage throughout the match. When Dragon tried lifting up Sullivan for the "Psycho Driver", his back died out on him, leaving himself open to a quick and thunderous "Mustache Mash" for the three count. --- Intermission break. --- 7) NWC Liberty Championship - Jordan Devine defeated Frank Sullivan (23:31) with the "Moon Over Miami" to become the first champion. ****1/4. Best match of the night, easily. Continuing the Devine/Sullivan feud in the main event of this tournament was one of Danielson's best booking decisions for NWC, thus far. Everything about this match was awesome -- the crowd, the story, and most importantly, the wrestling. The crowd was ninety-five percent behind Sullivan, so when Devine low-blowed Sullivan, followed by the "Moon Over Miami" to win the belt, the crowd absolutely tore Devine apart. Again, this one was a remarkable match that is definately "must-see" material. --- Referee, Todd Sinclair, awarded Jordan Devine the NWC Liberty Championship, as fans tossed trash into the ring, clearly showing their disapproval to Devine's championship win. All and all, Devine sold the moment like a genuine heel. --- To be honest with you all, I feel like a complete moron for believing that some of the outside talent actually had a chance at winning the NWC Liberty Championship. All along, this tournament was about continuing an amazing feud between Frank Sullivan and Jordan Devine. I'm very pleased with the results, since I saw a lot of potential in Jordan Devine ever since he made his debut. Although I'm a big fan of Sullivan, I'm not sure if he's ready to hold a championship just yet. I'm definately expecting this feud to carry on within upcoming weeks, so that's all I'm going to say for now.

Although he has not publically expressed his feelings, reports are being sent in that Bryan Danielson is said to be very disappointed with National Wrestling Circuit's current fanbase. Danielson expected the "Chase for the Strap" tournament weekend to be one of NWC's most attended shows, due to the fact that so much international talent was signed for the card, but in reality, it was the least attended pair of shows in NWC's small history. Rumors are flying around that Danielson is interested in trading over some of his trainees to El Dorado Wrestling, a joint wrestling school and promotion located in Japan, in hopes to bring in new wrestlers with different styles, which could possibly help bring in puroresu fans. Some of the names we've heard being thrown around as trade possibilities are Assassin (current NWC Tag-Team Champion), Frank Sullivan, Jordan Devine (current NWC Liberty Champion), Kid Carnage, Nick Jacobs, Red Dragon (current NWC Tag-Team Champion), and Zangief. By the looks of these names, it's clear that El Dorado Wrestling owner, Yoshihiro Asai, only wants to trade away his trainees for some of NWC's biggest names. Although it was rumored earlier in the week, Bryan Danielson has confirmed that he currently has no plans of closing down National Wrestling Circuit. As of right now, his main focus clearly appears to be bringing back his former fanbase.

Welcome to our live coverage of National Wrestling Circuit's eleventh show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The amazing tag-team of Kevin Steen and El Generico have been announced as tonight's special guests. They'll have a lot on their backs tonight, as they take on the hard-hitting duo of Brute Force in Brock Irish and Kid Carnage. The name of tonight's show has been reported as "Danger Zone". 1) Red Dragon defeated Danny Archer (8:21) with the "Red Dragon Driver". **1/2. I thought it should be worthy of noting that both, Dragon's and Archer's partners, Nick Jacobs and Assassin, were not at ringside, during this match. Archer looked much more impressive than ever tonight. Dragon was able to counter out of many Archer's holds, which gave him a big advantage in the long run. The finish saw Archer run into the ropes, only to be met with the "Red Dragon Driver" for a quick three count. 2) Evan Pagano defeated Al Bundy (1:14) with "The Calling". DUD. In case you guys don't remember, Pagano was pretty much your typical jobber, just a few weeks back. Sure, he looked impressive, but he wasn't winning matches. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like Pagano's finally getting the push that he's worked for. This kid's got talent, and in my opinion, could definately be a contender for a singles title in the near-future. 3) Zangief defeated Safu Anoa'i (15:01) by disqualification after Lou Glamsley hit Zangief in the back with a steel chair. ***1/2. Both of Anoa'i and Zangief's styles really clicked and as a result, both guys were able to put on quite an entertaining match. Neither men really had control of the match longer than another did. Just as Zangief was about to throw Anoa'i down for a powerbomb, Glamsley abruptly stormed the ring and whacked Zangief across the back with a steel chair, getting Anoa'i disqualified. --- Following the referee's disqualification call, Anoa'i went completely beserk, bloodying Zangief's face, along with kicking the referee out of the ring. Much to the crowd's pleasure, this brought both, Anthony McCraver and the NWC World Champion, Matt Ryland, running to the ring. The three men began brawling inside of the ring, until Bryan Danielson appeared on the entrance ramp and called a stop to the fighting. In order to settle things once and for all, Danielson announced an NWC World Championship match with Ryland defending the belt against both, Anoa'i and McCraver, in a triple-threat match on the July 27th show in Philadelphia. --- 4) NWC Liberty Championship - Jordan Devine defeated Frank Sullivan (16:39) with a forward somersault cutter to retain the NWC Liberty Championship. ***3/4. Yet another fabulous match put on by Devine and Sullivan. I don't think this feud will ever get old. For the first time in his career, Devine was able to pin Sullivan cleanly, as Devine reversed Sullivan's super swinging neckbreaker attempt into a perfectly-executed forward somersault cutter for the pinfall. The crowd was pretty PO'd with the match result and the surprisingly clean finish. (1st defense) --- Intermission break. --- 5) El Generico and Kevin Steen defeated Brute Force (22:53) after Steen made Irish tap to the Sharpshooter. ****. I'm not lying when I say that Steen is almost an exact replica of both, Carnage and Irish. All three of their movesets are nearly identical, and their charisma's on just about the same levels. Steenerico managed to get in much more offense than Brute Force, but Carnage and Irish really hung in there until the very end. With Carnage being held back by Generico on the outside, Steen easily made Irish tap out to the Sharpshooter for the win. Fun match with lots of interesting moves, here and there. 6) Steel Cage Match - Nick Jacobs defeated Assassin (19:36) when Jacobs escaped the cage after being thrown through the side door. ***3/4. Not nearly as good as I expected it to be, but the match got its main point across. With Red Dragon and Danny Archer in their respective corners, the crowd knew that we'd be seeing some sort of a strange finish here tonight. Assassin got in his power moves, while Jacobs was constantly knocking the big man down with his aerial attacks. The finish saw Assassin throw Jacobs into the cage door, which ended up being busted open from Assassin's power toss and thus, giving the rocker a shocking win. I really wasn't expecting Nick Jacobs to pick up the win over Assassin tonight, but the finish really resulted in some heavy heel heat, which definately is what Danielson wanted to happen. I'm epecting the Red Assassins to accept the Rock 'n' Roll Express 2.0's challenge for their tag titles some time in the near-future. Making the main event scene into a three-way picture was a very interesting, yet brilliant move by Bryan Danielson. Instead of getting Ryland versus McCraver again, in just two weeks, we'll be seeing a different variation, as Anoa'i is added into the mix. See you all next week, right here, on the WO.

First show is getting off to a great start. The finish to Dragon vs. Archer seemed pretty cool. Awesome that I'm getting a push, I didn't know if I could make it through a match with Bundy, lol. I'll edit with more feedy when the shows complete, and I might post a promo later . Edit: Ending to Anoa'i vs. Zangief was so realistic, and the post match stuff was amazing, the match in Philly is gonna be a good read. DEvine vs. Sullivan was awesome, I love this feud. The ending was cool, a clean finish from Devine was a nice surprise.
