yeah it would have been cool but in a way it woulnt have made sense cause they usally like to end wrestlemania on a happy note and seeing thtah would not be happy it would end the show on a sad/deprissing note

Nah...if you're going to not make it the main event, then it has to be somewhere in the middle, because you'll need the crowd to build back up for the main event. Can you imagine if HBK/Flair had been after Bunnymania and Show/Mayweather? The crowd would've been beyond dead for Edge/Taker. Not true, the crowd was at it's peak during that match and really didn't get into the Edge match until at least half way through it. The whole card was screwed up, Bunnymania should have been the second match, rather than having TWO consecutive hardcore type matches. They always put the Divas match on late though. Since most people don't have much interest in those matches they use to kind of let the crowd calm down after an exciting match so that they aren't dead for the Main Event. But the crowd was pretty much dead for Edge/Taker anyway at least in the early going.. probably because it started off slow and one sided.

It was a class move on Flair's part and very respectful to say the least. Kudos to Flair on this one.

Flair is the greatest. I'm glad WWE offered the spot to him.

It would have been intellectually- disabled to end Wrestlemania like that. 'Mania needs to end with a Championship match...no doubt about it.

Class act by Flair even though I feel that the belts don't mean that much anymore.

Much respect for Flair. Hell I dunno though, I probably would have liked him and Michaels being the main event.

I just gained a whole new respect for him. Though I think even Taker/Edge would not have mind if they cut away from Taker at the end to spotlight Flair's Robe and boots.

Flair is the man. I think his match fit in with the card perfectly where it was. There's not a chance Hogan would have turned down the main event.

It would have been intellectually- disabled to end Wrestlemania like that. 'Mania needs to end with a Championship match...no doubt about it. Not true at all. Mania needs to end with a match that's best fitting to be a main event, and you can only see Ric Flair's retirement one time! You will always see title matches come & go, but not the retirement of Flair. I mean did anyway actually consider HHH/Jericho to be the main event over Hogan/Rock just because HHH/Jericho went on last for the belt?? No...

I think it should have been higher up than it was, second to last perhaps. Can't really argue with Undertaker being last though since he was so far down the Card last year.
Athough, Flair did deserve it, and he had nothing else to prove by saying that he shouldn'tbe Main Event. This was his night, and we owe the Main Event spot to him.
