Just occurred to me today that we need more Rage Against The Machine on this game....Even though probably all of the songs will be talkies on the vocals, It would still be awesome.

I really wonder what tomorrow's announcement will be. Almost certain that I will not have enough points, as the last 2 weeks have been 1480 points, and before that, 1520 points. I only have 1100 points left, and am down to 5 games on my 360, so I'm not trading more in to get a point card.

I hope it's another mix of 3 or so bands, I like the diversity.

3 Doors Down - "Kryptonite"" Billy Idol - "Dancing with Myself" Billy Squier - "Lonely is the Night" Blur - "Song 2" Bon Jovi - "You Give Love A Bad Name" Bush - "Comedown" Dire Straits - "Sultans of Swing" Elton John - "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" Garbage - "Only Happy When It Rains" " John Mellencamp - "Hurts So Good" Johnny Cash - "Ring of Fire Kiss - "Shout it Out Loud" Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Queen & David Bowie - "Under Pressure" Stevie Wonder - "Superstition" The Police - "So Lonely" The Rolling Stones - "Sympathy for the Devil" Tom Petty - "Runnin' Down a Dream" Wild Cherry - "Play That Funky Music"
Those are the only songs that really interest me in GH5. I left off some, because I already have them in RB. I don't know if this is enough to justify a purchase.

HMX might as well give us the three tracks from "Nevermind" now and save "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for Rock Band 3.

The 11 songs that comprised the film’s original soundtrack were recently re-imagined and newly interpreted by the band for its latest CD Back From The Dead. The end result is that England’s Loudest Heavy Metal Band, Spinal Tap, has never sounded better. Back From The Dead also features six brand new songs including “Back from the Dead,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare” and “Warmer Than Hell” which are already available in the Rock Band Music Store and an hour-long DVD featuring band commentary. This is Spinal Tap is now available on Blu-Ray from MGM Home Entertainment.
Spinal Tap “(Funky) Sex Farm” Spinal Tap “(Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)” Spinal Tap “America” Spinal Tap “Big Bottom” Spinal Tap “Cups and Cakes” Spinal Tap “Gimme Some Money” Spinal Tap “Heavy Duty” Spinal Tap “Hell Hole” Spinal Tap “Rock ‘n’ Roll Creation” Spinal Tap “Stonehenge” Spinal Tap “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight”
Price: $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track $17.99 (1440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for “Spinal Tap’s TAP TEN” $2.00 USD, (200 Wii Points) per track --------------------------------------------------------------------
I like the Tap, but...too soon. We already had some not too long ago, and I like it better when one band doesn't dominate all the DLC.

Blah! They totally could have waited to give us that, when we just got the 4 pack no more than 6 weeks ago. I still have only played Saucy Jack.
Here's the official release, with pricing, Wii back-catalog tracks, and Unplugged tracks:

The first pack came 3 weeks after the first Tap pack, so maybe for the 25th of August, we'll get some more GD. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, and I'll ask for nothing more, but gladly accept, everything else Green Day we get.

But it's the same week all the same. And part of me can't help but feel like they only gave us this as "punishment" because we found out that the plan was to get Pantera, and their "shocking announcement" was spoiled over a week early. Just because Sean debunked it, doesn't mean they don't have the tracks done and ready to go. He pretty much just debunked the date. He never specifically said that we are not gonna get Pantera.

Tonight I'm Gonna Rock you (Tonight) and Stonehenge are really the only important songs but those two songs alone are more welcome to me than say more Green Day. Besides didn't GD get 2 packs this month?

The only complaint I have is that this should have been released in the first place. I'm so getting this album ASAP.
Atleast now I finally have a reason to get my Stonehenge replica out...
