I don't know which store I am going to attempt to find a Wii at yet. If I don't find on though then I am going to get a new surround sound system.

TARGET RULES!!! Although I couldn't justify buying three controller gloves, all of which are oddly paired, for 25 bucks.

Do you think it will be hard to get a Wii after Launch? I wanna get one around Christmas when I have money. New consoles are weird. I decided to get my PS2 too late so there were no preorders. I went the week after it was released and the store had about half of their stock in because people had returned them or heard bad things and cancelled their order. So I ended up getting one straight away without preorder and got a free DVD for taking the stock of their hands. I'm sure by Christmas time though if you look around you'll be able to find a console.

The vid would be better if you hold off the wii till christmas I'll just film it when Christmas time comes around. I'm going to buy undersized kids pajamas and everything. Now I just need a NINTENDO 64 remote control car...and games from Blockbuster, of course.

What do you guys think about the rumours of GTA IV being on the Wii? Nintendo is fine with it apparantly.
It would certainly be interesting but would bring alot of press if you had to use the controller to shoot, use a baseball bat to hit people and as a knife to stab people... heh.

I would love it Though, if GTA did show up on the Wii, I doubt it would be GTA IV.

Yeah, it'd likely be like the "Stories" series of GTA games.

I'd much prefer the House of the Dead series or Silent Hill. There were rumors of Silent Hill coming to the Wii, but I think that was just an early April Fools joke. It would be pretty cool to solve puzzles and swing a rusty pipe at demon children on the Wii. I don't want Wii-makes (grr) to be a common thing for the Wii platform, but it would be the perfect way to bring back the original Silent Hill. The distorted radio fuzz could be on the Wii remote.

Did anyone go to Toys R Us for the preorder? Got any stories to tell?
I did and it was a joke, the store didn't open till 8am and I got there at 7:45. There was 25 people I believe but half of them were there for the new elmo. Well I wait like 3mins and the TRU employee comes out and says "All game systems are gone", I was shocked. I mean, I knew the PS3 would be gone instantly but the wii too!? Wow. So I left with no preorder for the wii and now I must fight the crowd on launch day.
I hope their are plenty to go around, even if launch fails too I at least hope I can get one within 2-3 weeks after. I knew the wii was a cool system but I never expected this.
