I actually think WWE is intentionally making this year's Hall of Fame less attractive than previous years because they don't want Ric Flair to be overshadowed by other inductees. This is officially Flair's year and the focus as a Hall of Fame headliner should go directly to him. WWE is not intentionally making this year's Hall of Fame less attractive than previous years . WWE 8s inducting the right people this year . they are in florida & are inducting florida legends. they are just going by what territory they are in every wrestlemania. just because legends who are getting inducted are before you time does not mean they are not big names . they are before your time & that is why it feels less attractive to you . but really this a great HOF class .some of the best ever are going in this year. you just want people you know & grew up with inducted but it is not there time.learn they there were bigger names before you were born & ever watched wrestling . most of this class was a bigger a name & better wrestler then the wrestlers from you era of wrestling. next years HOF will be all about texas legends like the funks & von erichs.

And I'm sure you're an expert of the "business", you're a mark like the rest of us. Exactly. People just don't understand business. Rock returning and Flair is enough to sell this HOF. Save the other big fish for when they are needed. Its common sense kid. Ric Flair and Rock coming is enough to sell tickets. You don't give away more than you need to. Why would WWE blow the proverbial load all at once, than where would they be future years when fickle fans are bitching that the lineup is weak, will they just re-air this years? If thats complicated for you than maybe you should just stick to less deep topics,

I'm glad I made other plans for Saturday (Universal Studios). As mentioned before, Flair is the only real draw to this HOF. I went last year and was actually more impressed with just seeing the current roster there than the HOF's, so I decided to pass on tickets this year.

I'm fine with whoever gets inducted. It's not really a problem.

meh Im not impressed...I understand they need to give these territorial guys their due but for the sake of tv and making wrestlemania more spectacular I think they need more household names and guys that had bigger gimmicks territorial guys ? need more household names and guys that had bigger gimmicks ? please this really shows how much you know . the wrestlers being inducted were all superstars & household names of their times .so you are so wrong about them not being household names . you don't know of them as house hold names because they were before you time .just because they are not from you time does not mean they were not superstars, household names, or did not have big gimmicks. they all had bigg gimmicks &were house hold names of there time . so do you history & watch all there matches from the past befre you talk. because all of the people who are being inducted are better then any wrestler from 1980's,1990's, & today. wrestlemania is already spectacular. just because you don't know them does not means the wrestlers from your era are bigger stars them. most of them were bigger stars then wrestler from you era of wrestling. the older wresters should all be inducted into HOF before any of the wrestlers from 1980'' & 1990's because they are the reasoon there is wrestling & those superstars from your era happened. I realize this...but the audience of their time wont be the majority of viewers.

This is about who made a lasting impact in this industry, not who new fans mark out for.

am I the only one who feels owen was NOT hall of fame material? I definitely think you are. There is no reason why he shouldn't be. Most of the HOF inductees have not been World Champion. Owen Hart could go out there and have a good -> great match with a variety of different wrestlers. Not to mention his opening match at WM X with Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best PPV openers ever, not to mention one of the best WM matches ever. On top of that, he had his fantastic gimmick with the King of Harts into the Two Time Slammy Award Winner all the way to the Hart Foundation. There is not a single reason Owen should not be in the HOF. I'm excited for this year. Ric Flair is in it. They could just have Flair be in it and I'd be excited. he was a career mid carder who didnt bring anything really new to the tabel. But thats just me. =/

thats the problem with the wwe hall. its not a real place, there are only so many stars worthy of enshrinement, and 2 of them are banished to never be inducted (benoit and savage), one of whom has been erased from the annals of wwe lore. who deserves enshrinement who doesnt already have it? savage, taker, michaels, austin, rock, buddy rogers, vince himself, gorgeous george, lod, funk, i dont know
